That's the Problem.

You shouldn't have told them the reason for the attestation letter.

You could have just told them an organization needs proof and introduction from your school to show you were a student, and it should be done via attestation......simple. at the mention of army the people you are requesting the letter from will be forming James Bond for you.

Also, I said it before to jhennie who had issue with the letter...... When you are going to make such a request, don't go empty handed..wine, chocolate, traveling bread etc...this is Nigeria.....a little motivation matters alot.

Some of this current SSC guys loathe the idea of being posted to the Armor corp. One of the major reasons being the ease at which you might be targeted by enemy RPG. Once in your tank say T72 you're almost invincible, but if you climb mine or demobilise you, e don be for you to either you commit suicide with your sidearm or them capture you alive, that's if you survive the initial attack.
On the other hand the terrain is not favourable for foot soldiers (Infantry) because of almost zero obstacle to take cover, but the advantage be say when the "gbedu enter body" e dey easy to Japan with your leg.
