All I know is that I brought out a fact that almost all our AFCON wining midfield are U25,or at least 98% of them,
That he should rethink the over reliance of Iwobi and Ndidi.

Iwobi is 30,a replacement is needed as soon as possible.
Ndidi is 29,a replacement is needed as soon as possible,because neither of them is Zidan.

I wonder sometimes what make you guys think onyedika is mobile and creative enough to be moved upward the pitch. He is slow and at best a side ways passer of the ball

Currently the best player for that role beside Iwobi in midfield if we re to go with this formation is Alhassan because he is mobile, can score and creative as well

In defence I will play Fernandez who is calm and very good on the ball as the CB, Rapid and no nonsense Nwaiwu as the RCB and Bassey as the LCB

Based on current form not past exploits Fredrick shouldn’t be starting for now

The fact is this,any country that parades the same midfielders we're having will always having issues...yes Iwobi gives passes,apart from that nothing more,Ndidi was known for marking but now that marking is gone and Oyenka always busy and many times doing nothing...this midfield set up is a burden on the team, defenders would be over working and attackers would be wandering.....with this midfield we're not making it again to WC,unless Chelle do the needful

Sir you're getting it wrong,you cannot compared the development of Maduka Okoye or Arthur Okonkwo with that of Nwabali,they already have that advantages being European citizens and always easy for them in transfer market...ask any football agent how it's difficult for African homegrown keeper to make it to Europe... Nwabali age is really affecting him,at 20-23 you would have seen him up there,and not going to world cup really effected our players transfer, possibly a World Cup performance like that of Cape Verde goalkeeper would have given a relative better club.

Good that Okoye and Okonkwo are young,still growing in the games so we're not lacking,right now Okoye should be ready to be number one,enough excuses,he is doing well in Seria A

Awoniyi not in Chelle radar,he has been out of the team for almost three years,he replaced Osimehn,so Awoniyi is not the issue, possibly he would not get call again...Ajayi has been with Chelle and is having good season so far with Hull City,so understable...Tolu has been Chelle boy, didn't made it to Afcon and due to his Ajax form which I don't fancy he made it back....but Osayi and Bruno cost us most,do we discard them too cuz of Chelle poor tactics or we should discard Ndidi,Oyenka,Lookman and Akor

There are ways to phase player out,now we have Nwaiwu, Fernandez to replace Ajayi,left for Chelle to do the needful... Osimehn now have Ilenikhena to deputize

Chelle is always obsessed with committing too much attack wise in his preferred diamond setup, even in few instances where he switches to a flat 4-4-2 game plan, we are left with Wilfred Ndidi as the only defensive minded player in midfield and we know ndidi is way beyond his prime years...
I'm worried about his lack of plan B ,he seems hellbent on playing 2 strikers up front, while ignoring midfield solidity.. notice the ease at which Madagascar cut through our central areas..
I hope moving on he learns from this, if not we'll always struggle against good tactical sides

Dude, I agree with you on Ndidi, but I completely disagree with you on Iwobi. Alex Iwobi is the least of Nigeria's problems. Wilfred Ndidi, even in his prime, was neither a ball-playing nor a ball-carrying midfielder. He hides from the ball due to his limited ability with the ball at his feet. In his prime he made up these shortcomings with his V12 engine heart, world-class athleticism, and Jelaff legs that allowed him to intercept balls and win aerial duels and one-on-one battles in the midfield. It made him one of the top 10 defensive midfielders in the world back then. That leg and the V12 engine heart are gone, and he is now a complete liability for this team. Eric Chelle needs to develop the balls and let Ndidi simply concentrate on his club career. I don't see what he brings to the table now. His presence limits our ability to dominate the midfield due to his lack of ball-playing skills. When you have Ajayi and Ndidi on a team, it makes it very difficult to play smooth football due to the fact that both of these players simply cannot manipulate the football.

I am also still shocked that nobody on this message board has said anything about the stinker Ademola Lookman has dropped this window. Ademola Lookman was as bad as any player on the field in Uyo and in today's game. I cannot wait for the arrival of Femi Azeez, Yohanna, and the young German kid, Onyeka. Ademola Lookman needs to earn his place in the supereagles. Performances from him like he did this window should have him warming the bench next to Eric Chelle for a while. I have never seen or spoken to any African out here in the states that really see Lookman as an elite player. Most of them simply view him as a good player, and I am beginning to see why. How can I really view you as a world-class player when you are a NO SHOW for Nigeria on games that involved world powers like Losotho, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Benin, Rwanda, Madagascar, and Guinea-Bissau

If Chelle fails to qualify us for AFCON,then he is no any better than his predecessors,Finidi and JPes.
He was given a lifeline to qualify us for WC,all he had to do is beat DR CONGO,he failed.

Now he has incurred a loss that could potentially knock us out of AFCON.

His tactics is too attack minded with lean midfield, it can never work with this type of players we parade,especially without Osimhen.
He knows that the only dependable attacker he has is Osimhen,if he is not available, he should learn to adjust his formation to accommodate more midfielders.
