If that is how they want to run it from now on, it is that business. But you see 2013 and 2015 set, the approach was open and thorough and we unearth gems. Anything out of that is outside the norm set and partial. If you like it this way, congrats. I like the 2013 and 2015 way.

By the way, no one said Manu Garba should do it alone but the project should be his brain child. This is not his project and this is not his team. Manu Garba is just a face to sell the team. Let them tell us those who drew the U17. If they are that good, they should coach and Manu Garba should go home.

Finito.
Sir,why are you complaining for Manu Garba.Let him come out to tell us I can’t handle this team cuz it is not my team if he has the integrity

Which kind input? The coach builds the team, not make inputs. Even U17 again. Na wa. They should go and coach if they know so much.
Yes inputs from local coaches who are running youth football across Nigeria.

The era is gone because of corrupt people running the system. It is now unfair and not balanced. The open screening can still be done and discover better players than those in academies. This is crap and I can smell it from miles away. Manu Garba did not assemble that team. Who did?
In the 80s,National Youth sports festival,YSFON and Manuwa Adebajo cup players formed U17 team.It was from 90s,precisely Japan 93 team that we started seeing players from Nigeria leagues.

My point if we have academies representing us at international tournaments, having various youth clubs across the country playing in youth league then what is the need for open camping again….Yes I repeat it,the invitation of under age players like under 17 are done by engaging various stake holders in under age football development, even Manu Garba cannot do it alone.

Taiwo Awoniyi got his opportunity after represented Nigeria under 15 in UK summer camp and was recommended by Seyi Olofinjana with video clip, watched by Manu in NFF secretariat.

Manu Garba is an old horse who knows what he wants and left for him to decide on the list.

Hope you know Amokachi is a politician now. Am saying those allegations are right o.
The only player Yekini had real language understanding with is Amokachi and it’s Hausa language.

Yekini speak Hausa better than Yoruba, cuz of it he was more closer to Amokachi,so Amokachie was not beefing Yekini then but I can say Siasia fall out with Yekini after Cote d’voire match cus Yekini took it personal.

Siasia lost his position to Amokachie due to that missed, not due to his overall performance.Keshi was like no it happened in football and why Siasia should be turned to villain. After this the team camp broke into groups and Westerhoff saw it and called a meeting that no Siasia I did it for football reasoning.

Tactically Okocha was sacrificed for Siasia during US94 but things went soar before Italy match,Siasia had training bust up with Oliseh which made Westerhof to axed him from starting line up,some players are not happy with that decision.

Nigeria missing 96 Afcon, saw another strong group of players emerging from Atlanta 96 and did all they could do to block US 94 players from forming new nucleus of eagles.Checking out 98 WC team, injuries and poor friendlies matches brought Rufai,Yekini,Eguavoen,Okafor and Iroha back.

If you check it out Amokachi stabbed Keshi at the back during Afcon 2013 and stabbed Siasia on under 23 job….Oliseh love criticizing Keshi and Siasia at any given moment. This is to tell you the beefing in eagles.

I just hope they all support Amunike this time around

The NFF should tell us who drew the list. This U17 was formed before the arrival of the coach. Crazy.
This is under 17 team and with academies all over then getting 51 players should not be a issue….the era of throwing camp open is gone.Manu Garba is expert regarding U17 so left for him to do the needful and there is no way NFF don’t contact the likes of Manus for inputs even when they are not in charge.

I remembered when Yekini scored our first world cup goal.
He just walked off instead of celebrating with Yekini.
I was kind of shocked. Even Finidi walked off though he gave the assist.

However, I fault Yekini. His jubilation was selfish.
First World Cup goal for your country and you go hug net. Na net pass the ball to you?

Very selfish celebration

Football of today is well control with good rules that guide and gives players protections .My 14 years old boy clocking 15 this year is playing as CB and a starter in Under 18 youth league. In the olden days not possible cuz he would be bullied but he does it with ease based on the modern day standards that gives full protection to players.

LOL. Messi old generation. Messi is one hundred percent new generation because the modern game today took a big mould with him.

Finally, Maldini and co. could last that long because they were running against unfit men.

Read Thiago's quote again. Arguing against it is arguing against logic.
Maldini and co are running against unfit men like George Weah,Rashidi Yekini,Eric Cantona😀

You are missing the point. It is not just the star player that is disciplined today, but almost all quality teams. So, Kaka was performing against undisciplined players. So, it was easy for him to stand out.

Today, the gap is reduced due to increase in acceleration and physicality. That is why we see less fantasy.
I made example of Kaka out of many and I asked you to name a player who is disciplined than Kaka in this generation…..and again tell me players who are in habits of going to parties and still played the games next day.

The only differences between older and new players is hectic football calendar which reduces partying and clubbing.

Are you minding those arguing what they don't understand me? Players drank and smoked crazily nights before games. Some held late night parties and turned out for big games the next morning. Something that is unthinkable today.
Pls tell me any new generation player who is discipline as Kaka and I want you to give us facts about older players who goes into parties and still played the following day…,.even till date, players parties and do a lots of stuff than you can imagined.

The only difference is that new generation players are more occupied than older ones due to hectic football calendar.

To me I don't see the boy as mohbad biological son.. No resemblance to that effect. The way he looks, smile etc no resemblance

She should rather go for a DNA test to prove her self

Well I don't know how you see my comment but it's logical. Take a look at the boy and see if any resemblance.

I am a father and I have children, when my wife gave birth. When everyone saw the child they said yes... I am the father. When my last child laugh.. You see my mother's face in her

Secondly, I hardly visit village. The first time I visited when grown. I was strolling n someon called my father's name who died 30 years ago. Another simply ask, are u from this family? You don't need to introduce your self they already know via facial resemblance. You can't hide it a lion can't give birth to a tiger.

But this days people gives birth to children that does not look like anyone in the family nor carries family trait then you start wondering where does this fall from.

I am my father's son. If you see my face n his picture, you won't argue.. This days people give birth to children that looks like friends at work or neighbours children etc.

Three days back someone called me that he saw my brother in the mull. I told her do you know if I had a brother? She said she couldn't ask him but the resemblance. that immediately he brought his card to pay he saw my surname on his card.
You don't need to ask anyone if you see my brothers or sister.. You just know instantly

Pls wetin be your own gan sef….haha epistles on top Mohbad son DNA,pls are you related to Mohbad

MIKEL should just respect himself henceforth.

People just open their mouth to talk rubbish because you won trophies.
Doesn't he know an IDIOT can accompany a team to win trophies? So because he won trophies, that now makes him sensible and integral to his team, even close enough to compare himself with Kanu. He doesn't come anywhere close to Amuneke and he's talking about KANU. MIKEL go ask ur father about KANU.

When these Men Were in Super Eagles, Nigeria's FiFa ranking in the world was 6th position. No African country has ever attained such till now.
Get that into ur head. Nonsense!
Kai at this stage you are still believing the bloggers…..Mikel was talking about his trophies not that he was better than Kanu.

But you hate Mikel sha😔

Kanu was not part of eagles that was rated 5th best

Kanu had 5 Afcon appearances with no goal

Kanu had 3 World Cup appearances with no goal or assist

Kanu had 86 super eagles appearances with 12 goals, damn too poor for his rating.

Kanu was very averaged with eagles though magnificent in under age tournaments like under 17 and under 23.

But Kanu Club careers and achievements were records to beat, especially with Arsenal and till date Kanu is all time Nigeria best.

Kanu two APOTYs were success from his Arsenal exploits and Atlanta 96.

I watched a good part of the game Kog45. Especially Uzoho's howler, Iheanacho's goal and yes the scene where Boniface or the saudi scored. How could you make such bold yet ignorant claim when you weren't with me at all? It is very funny.

Yes, I was on my leave away from NL but must I be on NL before I can see a few games shown online? There was a debate on who got that final touch between Boniface and that Saudi Defender. I ultimately felt it was given to Boniface as I watched that scenario over and over again and Transfermrkt credited Boniface as well. Although some other sites didn't.

I also saw BascoVanVeli's highlights of the same game and it was close to call. Even he wasn't sure if it was Boniface's or an own goal.

But anyway, let us say it was indeed an own goal..it is still too early to say he hasn't scored in the Eagles seeing that he has only started 2 games out of 5 games played.

Do not be offended by my comment….Yes we would have seen the best of him during Afcon.

How I wished Boni and Awo were available during Afcon…..Boni would have paired Osimhen upfront with Awo on the bench replacing tiring Osimhen like 20 minutes to go,possibly JP would have changed his rigid tactics

You just did not get the point. Muller in what was quoted above said Magic and aesthetics (eye appealing) Zidane rules them. I agree 100%. When it comes to goal contributions, De Bruyne and Muller rules. How can you tag this disrespect?

As Thiago Alcantara said, in the game today, there is little space to even turn with the ball. That is why we see less magic and more contributions.

No one is disrespecting Zidane but give KDB his respect. He is now among the greats.
KDB will be counted amongst the all time greats only if he turns Belgium around.

Actually, the National team especially under Rorh and Peseiro were negative and slow in progressive transition. This actually hampered the potency of the run. In a more dynamic midfield, Osimhen would destroy teams at a phenomenal level.

Sir if you look at the pictures clearly, You will get why he had been caught offside than others,

let's take Martinez for a start, his midfielders know when to telegram ball when he is making his runs, same to haaland,

Now Can it be compare to that of Napolis, Osimhen had the legs and the pace to burn too, why wait till he was in an offside position before releasing the ball to him

Check the season he emerges as top scorer, what was his offside stats then??
Victor Osimhen working on this he will be a phenomenal striker that world would always remembering….talking about this is not criticism but trying to point out how he can improve on his positioning.

I will not buy idea of blaming Napoli midfielders for this cuz it happened in Afcon too,so left for Osimhen to do the needful.Imagine with his numbers and able to get it right then we talk of 1 to 3 best strikers in the world.
