Politics › Re: Mr President, Nigeria Is Going Down, Article By Simon Kolawole by kokoA(m): 3:29pm On Jul 20, 2009
Jarus:
When I was reading this article yesternight, what came to my mind was 'How will Segun Adeniyi, Simon's ex-colleague at Thisday and now Yar'adua's media man, feel when reading this lashing of his boss from his close colleague? Will he come out and defend his boss again or scold Simon?

I found thsi especially daring and was wondering what will happen to Simon now, moreso as his boss-general, Nduka, is a PDP guy.
It has gotten to his neck, he can not take it any longer, let the worst happen. How can we be living in the 21st centuary and our level of comfort is far from what was obtainable during the stone age.

Yaradua is a failure no doubt but the most painful part is that he has made failures of others as well. Take for example Dora Akunyili, Segun Adeniyi and others. Every day that passes, I keep wishing Obasanjo never forced him on us. But what can we do now? Its too late but I believe God is watching everything. Nemesis will surely catch up with this people, the blood of the innocent lives that have been wasted as a result of the insensitivity of our leaders will cry out for justice and God will answer their cry. Our leaders will die bad deaths and the land will be cleansed very soon. It has gotten to that point. Nigerians, I hate to say this, but the only way out now is just to leave our fate in the hands of God.

plz u don't need to lament here, our country is getting worst, is it not Nigerian immigration that lets them in thru bribe, i worked with Indians for 2 years i couldn't bear it, i had to leave without informing them cos they are not worth it.

while working with them, Immigration Officer, Tax officer, Auditors, Police Officer, Lawyer, Chairman etc they are behind the maltreatment of staffs cos of the bribe they get from them, imagine the Nigerian Chairman telling the boss not to increase staff salary, and the police officer telling them to sack and employ ever 6 months so he can get enough money

i was working as a secretary i overhead this discussion and pretended not to know, had to start applying till i got another job and left, Tax Officials do not get the correct tax from them they get their bribe first

Nigeria is getting worst no need to lament
Are you serious? This really happened?

Politics › Re: N180,000 Tuition Fees For Nigerian Universities by kokoA(m): 2:00pm On Jul 20, 2009
You guys should not crucify this A-town dude, he seem to have a point but he has proposed it wrongly. Yes "quality" education is worth paying 180,000 or even more for, but for now we don't have that in Nigeria now, I said "quality",so the idea of increasing fees is ill-timed. Let the leaders think of how to resolve the current problems facing our eductional sector first. They need to invest in it before expecting returns, that is how it works. So, A-town, you have a point but don't you think we won't be able to afford that now?
Politics › Re: N180,000 Tuition Fees For Nigerian Universities by kokoA(m): 1:42pm On Jul 20, 2009
Did I hear 180,000 naira or 180 naira. For what? This useless university system we have? Please, some one needs to talk some senses into these bunch of retards we have for leaders. I am a beliver of paying for education but not the type we are given in Nigerian universities. Excuse me.

Politics › Re: What Has Mandela Done For Africa? by kokoA(m): 12:04pm On Jul 20, 2009
@ landis

The last time I checked, south Africa was still in Africa. Have they changed it? If they have then I get your point but if they have not then, name one African leader that has done up to half of what mandela did for south Africa in their country. Thank you.

You mean that ugly man (minister of justice) did this:
08064753382:
Recently one also read of the minister of justice and attorney general of the federation,Mike Aonadoaaka, allegedly importing belly dancers from Ethopia to mark his birthday bash in Benue State. It was reported that while the girls were stripping, the traditional rulers and other responsible men at the occasion had to leave the venue.
Too bad, and he happens to be the president's favourite abi?

Politics › Re: What Has Mandela Done For Africa? by kokoA(m): 9:54am On Jul 20, 2009
back2back:
what part exactly did he do?

was this a terrorist act or not?

why are today's 'freedom' fighters are called terrorists.

in understanding these, we can illuminate how they shape our lives.
How can you compare Mandela to present day terrorists? This Man mandela fought for his people's freedom, he did no go about bombing himself and others because he wanted freedom for his people. And you will agree with me that South Africa is a predominantly black counry, then why should the minorities (whites) run her affairs and in the most in-humane manner. You know the truth but just want to creat an agurement in here. As far as am concern, Mandela remains the greatest African ever (dead or alive). He would have chosen to make himself the life president of South Africa like other greedy African leaders who prefer to die as presidents but he never did that. is this not examplary enough?

Wicked Nairalanders.

Anyway, guy if you want her, then go for her after all you have broken up with your girl friend. If she does not pick your calls, go to her house, if she chase you out, kneel down and beg, if she still insist that you go, tell her you will kill your self and if she does'nt listen tell her you will kill her before killing yourself and if she still insist, kill her but report yourself to the police. Ok? grin (Just joking, If you love her, then go for her.
Romance › Re: !!. i cant bear it any longer by kokoA(m): 5:08pm On Jul 17, 2009
My dear, this is a normal thing that happens once in a while in relationships. You got pregnant for a guy you love and will be marrying, I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I suspect he is scared of marriage (some guys are you know).

My advise is that you get close to his very close friends (The responsible once you know), tell them what is happening and let them talk to him. A man will surely listen to his friends no matter what (espicially if they are drinking mates), I know that because I am one grin. And like they have said, keep praying to God, beg him to forgive you if you have wronged him and tell him to make your relationship work according to his plan. There are worst cases out there. Cheer up babe!

Hey! How old are you if I may ask. This guy lied to you in the first instance and then broke your heart afterward. Now you clearly know what he is out for (To use you as a comforter and then dump you again after his girl come to her senses). You be spare tyre?. Girl its high time you got back to your senses. This guy does'nt love you like you love him (That is if he had ever loved you at all). Go find yourself some one who is deserving of your love and leave him now that you have the time Ok? A word is enough for the wise!
