That man would have transformed this country but they intentionally killed him. They tried the same thing with buhari too, but somehow it didn't work. All the time he was hospitalized, it was that same thing they did to yaradua that they did to him , and i think immediately he came back , his brain changed to doing what they want. BoldBrainz: |
I never said it's a good life; I just wonder how people survive obinna58: |
The boss might have noticed some other traits before now |
My brother takes time to research how people with low incomes live. That 20k is a two-month feeding allowance for some families and they don't even look it. That bottle of coke you drink is some family's daily food budget and they are also living fine some times better than us. It’s hard to imagine, but I know a family whose total income doesn’t even reach 50k, both are teachers, and they are a family of three. Despite this, they own a piece of landed property in Ikorodu. I’m not saying this to sound good; I genuinely know this family. I was at a shop buying foodstuff when someone came to buy 100-naira red oil. I asked the woman what the person planned to use it for. She said they would pour it over their rice with no stew, just oil and salt. I gave the woman some money to give him if he came around again and asked her to get his phone number for me. I carefully tried to research this man's life. It turns out that he and his wife wake up as early as 4:30 a.m. and trek to work every day—a distance of about 20 km from where they live o. The surprising part is that their struggles don’t show much in their lifestyle. They seem like regular people you’d see daily, and they even dress better than some people. But shockingly, they also own landed property. He said told me the only problem that is not helping him to save much is his rent , but once they finish their property , that one will be solved. I didn’t bother asking about their exact salary, but I’m 100% sure it’s not up to 50k. so my brother its not about how much you earn, its about how much you can save Dtruthspeaker: |
Poor is better defined by how much you can save, not just how much you earn. You might be surprised to find that someone earning 20k can save consistently, while someone earning 60k might struggle to save anything. Regardless of income, if you can't save, financial instability and poverty remains, even if you're earning 1 million. Dtruthspeaker: |
You might think you understand women until they tell you they prefer dark guys but want a light-skinned baby. |
instead of struggling alone in poverty, you could find a partner to build and grow with. If you're earning 60k per month and she's earning 40k per month, that's a combined income of 100k per month. By cooking at home instead of eating out, you can save money. You also don't need to have children immediately; you can wait until your finances improve and reach a stable level. |
me too o , i don't even understand this country anymore. They have spoilt our country for us . I'm not sure we are getting back to normal in this century ruggedtimi: |

I understand what you are saying , but only the government can give assurance that others won't pay or atleast set a rule that no one should pay. Mom007: |

If you try to go this route , many people will start victimizing each other just to get their part sold mightyhaze: |
We are running a dollarized economy, and everything we consume is imported. So, the dollar rate determines how valuable that money is. If the dollar rises to 3000 tomorrow, then that 5m is just about 2.5m in value, which is about 1500 dollars. Because if he decides to buy a car tomorrow, he will pay 5m for a car that used to cost 2.5m, due to the dollar rate. If he decides to buy a new TV or almost anything else, the price will be prorated to the current dollar rate EvilMerodack: |
It's hard to pretend when you are successful, it will show. The best way of finding true love is prayer. I'm not even a religious person but this one I'm soo sure it's the only right way. |
no body makes money legitimately and spend it like this |
you have 2,900 dollars , you are doing well o but the distance between you and millionaire loooooong! |
Now we can agree that it's a failure of the government. We pray that our generation will have access to power and change these things, but if we start thinking like them right now, that means there will be no change in this country. I know some families that don’t even know what 100k in cash looks like, not to talk of renting a shop, no government monthly stipends or food stamp like they do in advance country and we both own this oil. This is our father’s land. You didn't make the pedestrian wide enough like you said or create their own section where they can make small money, you didn’t provide monthly stipends to this family, you didn’t provide small-scale loans to this family to even rent a shop off the street, and now you want to chase them off the street so it can look beautiful. This is what I’ve been trying to explain to you from the beginning of our conversation. Because you and I can afford data, we shouldn't look down on people whose weekly gross income is our daily data subscription. Our government has failed to provide for a population of over 200 million, and these people are trying to find their livelihoods. Now are we supposed to wage war against poverty by arming the poor? My brother, think again o. Kemetian: |
You have not answered my question: will you feed them when you push them off the streets? You’ve provided pictures of Rwanda , a country of 14million people, but you haven’t shown their marketplace, which i'm sure their government must have provided abi they no dey chop?. There is no marketplace in my entire area where people can rent shops to sell aside shoprite and how many people can afford this?. This is a failure of our government. Before sending people off the streets, where is the provision for them? My mother sent me to school using proceeds from selling on the roadside. If you had sent her off the street, I would have truly become the illiterate you are calling me right now. I am not fighting with you and I am not in support of selling on the roadside, but I've see the Lagos State government trying to remove market women from the streets without making provisions for them. I’m surprised people like you could support that. So, you want to make the streets clean but let people die of hunger? Kemetian: |
Who taught you this design, or did you bring the knowledge from heaven? If you learned it from Western countries, then go and check what Western countries offer to their citizens who have no jobs before you suggest that the poor, who are trying to make ends meet, should be pushed off the streets just because you want a beautiful view. Besides which country have you been to that gave you this exposure ? Kemetian: |
you will feed them ba? Kemetian: |
I'm not saying I would spice up anything. I'm just describing my nature. I could live with rice alone forever, but I would always have to give it a break for it to be sweet again. But to think I will eat it everyday forever . naaa Fiscus105: |
Well I can publicly say it, I don't really think I could do more than once a week in marriage or serious relationship with the same person even before 10years. Sex to me is like food, I could eat rice , bean , yam . But I can't eat rice more than once or max twice a week. I'm sorry Fiscus105: |
I'm beginning to think men are wired differently, 4 times a month after 10years and you are still complaining .... wow just wow |
