mercyville: Who dey marginalize you.YORUBAS control the economy of Nigeria..One thing about Igbos is the delusion that has characterized their lives from time immemorial.I remember reading that Ojukwu said that he had the best army in Africa during the civil war but it was all delusion.Igbos said they control the economy of Nigeria but it was later found out that they are parasites. Igbos said they control Technology,it was later found out that Yorubas control almost 70% of ICT.Igbos said they are the most industrious and they commenced a thread calling out Yorubas to compete with them and at the end it was discovered that they do/did not have up to 7% of the industries in Lagos where they said they control and it occurred to everybody that Yorubas control the economy of Lagos and Nigeria with their massive industries even they have more than the Igbos fourfold abroad. This is the thread. https://www.nairaland.com/3918290/yorubas-most-industriousrichest-educated-tribe
Poverty rate are all dependent on all these indices and more but poverty would not allow them know what facts mean. The research was not carried out by Yorubas but World bank,Nbs and UNO but our always complaining brothers would rather live in delusion. We know you rule Africa in being pioneer ritualists, baby factory workers, kidnapping, mass drug dealing that warranted an English professor to write a book on your drug dealing prowess, stealing and selling of babies and different types of crimes created solely by the Igbos, all in a bid to chestbeat BUT YOU ARE STILL MORE POVERTY STRICKEN THAN THE YORUBAS.Facts are sacrosanct no matter your wailing.. i know bro just that Igbo find some funny ways of claiming victim all the time when it suits them they say they are the most industrious tribe or the most educated or the most advanced tribe in nigeria but when they want to play victim mentality they say they are the most marginalized tribe. so thats why i said Yoruba tooo are marginalized. its a sarcasm |

Politics › Reason Why Ipob Should Change Into Political Party. by koladebrainiac(op): 4:55pm On Oct 25, 2017 |
I have been discussing this matter with my IGBO friends since. I predicted on my facebook page that the only way FG can be done with IPOB is to designate them as terrorist group, ban the group. AND AS PREDICTED, FG banned them. the same thing I said on my facebook page that IPOB should go into politics and register as party.
This thought came to me when Nnamdi went too far to create BSS. I said this is it, he shouldn't have done that. It's a misguided action which no leader should have done. Even Mandela won't do that openly... the worst is to create them secretly. Coming openly with it is the worst idea I ever read from a political leader.
But there is still remedy. Although its dangerous for him as leader but it will be the best thing if he can see it through and convince his millions followers. and also if he can do it, then it means he has interest of his followers at heart that they dont have to share their blood on the cause like that.
if he can declare IPOB a political party and turn it to a movement,it would assured Biafra session in future.
If declared a party IPOB will be able to carry out their meetings and gathering without any fear of intimidation or anything. if declared a POLITICAL PARTY, IPOB will be able to form government at the local and state level even at the federal level which is senate and house of rep.
the political manifesto will be autonomy government. I.E the sole purpose is to form their own government and be able to secede.
the end game will be to secede from nigeria.
they dont have to fight or abuse the nigeria Flag infact they will have to show respect for Nigeria.
They must be able to fufil their Biafra dream through good governance in their various public reponsibilities
they must be able to unite the region through their good governance and make it an envy of other fedrating state.
having all the governors in their party and senators they can sponsor bills to form alternative government from nigeria.
i know this is difficult but it will be very easy if their subject believe them.
although their are many things that may impede this intersting Ideas
-INEC or FG may fraustrate this ideology
The people may see it has sell out and not trust them
It will be difficult to give each states in east the good governance and the real BIAFRA DREAM.
It will be a long way to achieve their goals-like it will take long years to achieve this.
THIS CAN ONLY BE LIKE THE CHILDREN OF ISREAL IN THE WILDERNESS.
IN THE END THEY ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS. |

the best thing for them to is to convert it to a political party. and legalize the group. there they can hold meetings without any fear or prejudice. even they go all the way to the senate . form governorship candidate and turn the state to their own advantage. they can sponsor bills and there after conduct their referendum. before you know it they will actualize Biafra |

9jaDoc: We are not blaming Awo for not seceding - something he clearly was in no position to do. We are faulting him for lying about something beyond his capability, as u just pointed out you guys are the one lying here. it's not clear what he said. he did not promise Ojukwu secession. he only said if Ojukwu secedes Yoruba would follow. and besides, he went there to negotiate not promise. ojukwu never said this. |

I don't understand. there are other accounts to this story u guys are bragging about, playing victim upandan. what about Victor Bajo's account and what LET TO AWOLOWO'S REFUSER TO JOIN SECESSION. ANYTHING OF SECESSION ON YORUBA PART IS A SUICIDE FOR US. WE WILL BE THE BATTLEGROUND. COMMON DORDAN BARRACK is IN LAGOS AND NIGERIA CAPITAL' SO IF YORUBA had SECEDED WHO WOULD HAVE FOUGHT FOR AWOLOWO? CAN HE MUSTER ARMY IN THE BARACK? THAT ASIDE THE ACCOUNT WE HEARD WAS THAT AWOLOWO WENT TO SEE OJUKWU TO STAND DOWN NOT TO DISCUSS SECESSION. AND WHAT AWOLOWO SAID WAS THAT IF OJUKWU SHOULD SUCEDE, HE WILL JOIN THE FRAY. BUT YOU GUYS WILL KEEP LYING N THROWING PROPAGANDA UPANDAN. |

WetinConsignMe: I don't even think Awo technically promised the West would secede once Biafra seceded but that was the impression he left on public consciousness. This, for example is from America:
This is from "America's secret files on Ojukwu" Note the bolded.(Shows the general/public impression of what Awo said would happen if Biafra seceded)
...On the other hand, Strong continued: “AG (Action Group) activists and the man in the street are convinced Awolowo made the statement under duress… They say Awolowo’s true position was indicated in the Leaders of Thought resolution in May, which said if any region seceded or forced out, the West would automatically become independent. The activists feel that Awolowo missed the opportunity to bring the present conflict to close by coming to Ibadan and make a Western Declaration of Independence speech supported by Victor Banjo and his National Liberation Army.” like Awo was bound by oath to join secession ?? |
