Before pulling the drain plug under your pocket, have you checked your valvetrain?
It could be that your timing chain is slack & slapping against the engine block. Perhaps the tensioner is damaged or the chain has stretched.
Also check valves & springs.

However, the challenge I have is that I'm not sure if any of these my "Kabiru" mechanics can handle that.

Do you know of any competent mechanic to check and handle that in Ladipo? Though I am currently in one of the south/south states.

I recently discovered a funny sound when I rev high my BMW E46 with N42 engine. the noise becomes more louder when I delay in changing gear most especially from gear 1 to 2 or 2 to 3.

the truth is that, no one has been able to explain what is happing to my engine. I recently went to change my gear oil thinking the issue is from there but all to no avail. the funny thing about the engine is that; it works so well, steam in the morning, doesn't smoke, the general performance is cool but the knocking sound (as said by my mechanic) is a serious concern to me.

I have decided to change the engine but these mechanic guys would never stop their evil deeds as majority of them came with a ridiculously high bill.

I need someone to give me a good price probably with contact of a BMW engine seller in Ladipo. Most especially, I want to have a clear price idea before I put my head therein.
1. What's the price of a complete engine with gear?
11. price of engine without gear (complete)?
111. the price of half and top engine (Borale) I.e without 3.alternators, ignition, power steering pump etc.

I do not have the plain picture of the engine but the attached picture can give you an idea pending when I would get someone to help me send the plain picture.

the truth is that the engine is cool but the attached picture has some plastic coving the main engine (battery cover plastic, air flow meter plastic, brain box plastic and some other one)

I would like to put my Peugeot 406 - D8 with a great 16 valve engine (1.6L), good gear, a clean interior, 4 good tyres with alloy wheel etc for sale.

The vehicle had an accident around Sagamu, Ogun State while coming from Delta State.

The issue with the vehicle was that it ran into a big dish filled with water and lost control of the vehicle, it hit the road divider and the chassis is slightly affected at the front passenger side only (it is very repairable).

na waa for this clueless government oooooo. Lots of major roads are bad in Delta state and instead of the guy rehabilitating them, he is spending 30bn to rehabilitate streets.

Note: most of the street roads mentioned were not newly constructed, all they did was rehabilitation.

Tell the guy to go and fix Osubi - PTI road, Sapele - Eku road....

When the Ag president was coming towards that side, they had to quickly take earth to cover up the big dishes....

the annoying thing there is that, the so called government functionaries both at stated and federal level do pass this road with their endless security escorts on daily basis.

However, that might be a little difficult for him to handle afterwards and I doubt if he would be able to push his plan through!

To access your pension account, you need more than cessation of pension remittance in your RSA, you need other particulars like your termination/resignation of appointment letter and the PFA would likewise write to your alleged ex-employer to seek further clarifications on your remittance among other things.

With these, you can see that your friend only want to create an issue for himself.

Left my former place of employment for a new place in 2010. I was using Trustfund then before moving to ARM. I went to Trustfund office at PH in 2011 to ask if i could move my funds with them to my new partners but the babe i met there said something like "The market wasn't open then so i had to wait" and since then, i just forgot about it until i stumbled on this thread.

How do i go about transferring my funds from Trustfund to ARM?

The truth is that you are not expected to have more than one RSA PIN I.e, you are not expected to register with more than one PFA. When you moved from your previous work place, you were supposed to continue using your PIN with Trust fund PLC by just giving your HR your PIN and they continue remitting with it to trust fund.

Though, the commission has been promising since 2010 or even before then that they were going to open transfer window (platform that enable RSA holder move their pension contributions from one PFA to another while still using the same RSA PIN). This has not been done probably due to some remittance/record issues on the part of the PFAs/PFCs.

Back to your main question, it is impossible for now to move your pension contributions from Trust Fund Pension to ARM since the transfer window is yet to be declared opened by PenCom. However, if you want all your contributions to be together I.e one PFA (which is my kind advice) all you need to do is for you/employer do a letter to ARM pension stating that your RSA with them is an error that you already have one with trust fund and likewise implore them to transfer all your contributions with them to trust fund pension.

Note: this might take a while to be done as ARM might have to write the Commission for approval. Doing it now will save you from stories when you are set to collect your money.
