TravelRe: Being Black In Berlin/germany by Kollyman: 4:54pm On May 03, 2020
Hello OP,

Would you advise someone to attempt the six months visa for people coming to Germany to look for work? What are the chances of securing a job within 6 months particularly someone who schooled in Nigeria. Not IT related jobs but something around administration and management.

If cool, which states or cities would you advise such person to target?

Is there any part / season of the year that often possess better advantage for swift job opportunities in Germany?

If someone has an option of doing PhD in Germany or Canada, which one would you advise ? This is not about the academic but the societies and opportunities.

Regards.

The question should be if the woman would still stay married to the stupid idiot after cheating on her with a prstitute, not even once but on different occassions. Who knows how many other girls he's been screwing, there might even be other kids at the corner

But, if the lady decides to forgive the shameless goat(the good for nothing husband) then she SHOULD take in the child with love and care. Its not the baby's fault the man couldn't keep his thing to himself (or his wife alone)
The baby is innocent and should be treated as such, right??
The fact that you don't have a home does not mean that other women should become homeless like you.

Get a life, the future could be better for you than you think.

It is unfortunate we have lots of ignorant comments on this thread, accusing and insulting the woman for absconding or running away.
For the avoidance of doubt, let me explain how it works, firstly, sample is collected from suspected patient and sent to lab for confirmation. The patient is released to go pending the outcome of the result.
The result takes approximately 48 hours to be out.
If the result comes out positive, the patient will be contacted and duly quarantined.
From the twitter post of the governor, they already have the patient's information including her residential address. What happened to visiting the address ?
It is wrong exposing her confidential info and calling her out online.
Her number could innocently not be reachable as a result of some certain unavoidable factors.
So you mean the Governwment had not checked her in her residence before going online to announce her disappearance?

Not everyone is daft

Sadly you can't seem to see the bitter truth. A man who really cares will be there. True love always finds a way.
Something is wrong with you.

That's how you people go about spoiling and polluting people's relationships and marriages.

You teach this lady the wrong thing, she engage the husband with a lot of troubles as if the man is not doing it for the family. Before you know what's up, problem sets in and ladies like you will want to give such a man a shoulder to lean on....

@OP, I know what you are passing through and I can tell you that your husband is passing through similar situation. For the sake of your kids and the family, please endure it,all will turn out for good very soon.

Note: Looking for solace elsewhere is suicidal and you might hate yourself for it for the rest of your life.

Hi Kollyman, I just found this helpful thread via nairaland search.
I would be very grateful to get a reply as soon as you can.

Story:

A federal worker in a Federal Medical Center in the country was enrolled in the contributory pension stuff with Trustfundpensions.

The worker is no more (dead, 2years+). The family of the deceased has submitted every document (concluded documentation) needed to claim benefits @ Trustfundpensions since August 2019.
The state branch of Trustfundpensions where the family is based also informed them that the documents have been forwarded to their HQ.

This is 8months now and 'nothing nothing' from Trustfundpensions. No payment.

Is this normal?
8 months wait and yet no show.

Who can the family petition?

Thanks in anticipation for your reply.
8 month is such a long time to wait.

However, two things might have happened:

1. Trustfund might be waiting for PenCom to remit the deceased's accrued pension right (subject to when the deceased joined the government's service) and group life assurance benefits. I can confirm to you that these two often take forever to get remitted most especially now that the government is broke. Trustfund might not pay the estates of the deceased the little amount you currently have in the deceased's pension account (monthly contribution) as the big money is yet to come. However, you have the right to demand from the PFA the RSA statement of the deceased to check the remittances and the narrations to ascertain if the two above mentioned benefits have not even been remitted.

To solve this, first confirm from the deceased former office if they had informed and sent necessary documents to relevant quarters notifying them of the demise. If you had confirmed and the money is yet to be paid, you can write PenCom for an explanation. Just make sure you have made necessary confirmations from the appropriate quarters and quoting them in your letter to PenCom.

2. Trustfund might be foot-dragging in the processing of the application. Though the company as a whole might not be interested in withholding the money but a lackadaisical employee might not be doing what he/she is expected to do on time. Understand that it takes a lengthy time to sometimes verify some of the documents submitted (LOA, death certificate etc) but 8 months is such a long time.

Kindly send Trustfund an email demanding for the status of the application, their response will determine your next line of actions.

Please do not pay anybody whether in Trustfund, PenCom or any kangaroo organisation to process the application, the most complex document to obtain with regards to the documentation is the LOA which you have obtained.

Kindly revert if you need further clarifications.

I hope you find this useful.

Best regards.

The two doesn’t always go together (opposite).

Most highly intelligent ladies I have seen are not facially beautiful and most of them do not have time for slaying.

Don't forget to also slam your head on the floor like Jesus and great people in the bible

"And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship..." (Joshua 5:14)
And Abraham fell on his face..." (Genesis 17:3)
…and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God." (Revelation 7:11)
"And he (Jesus) went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed..." (Matthew 26:39)
Say, "Believe in it or do not believe. Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it - when it is recited to them, they fall upon their faces in prostration(Quran 17 vs 107)

The Qur'an verse you quoted talks about prostration to worship God which is the same as falling on one's face.

However, Muslim don't prostrate in observing their regular prayers, they bow down their head to........ in prayer.

Jusus, Abraham etc as you have mentioned in those bible passages stated above prostrated to God in the place of prayer which a lot of Christians normally do most especially in worshipping God.

Pls stop mixing the two up, there is a difference between prostration and bowing!

TravelNew German Skilled Immigration Act Effective 01 March,2020 -all You Need To Know by Kollyman(op): 1:02pm On Feb 29, 2020
Germany facilitates immigration for skilled workers from abroad with the introduction of the Skilled Immigration Act, effective March 1, 2020

The shortage of skilled workers is becoming an increasing problem in Germany and a business risk for many companies. The Federal Government therefore now wants to attract qualified employees from non-EU countries to Germany. On March 1, 2020, a new law will enter into force to facilitate immigration for those skilled workers. With the "Skilled Immigration Act", the German Federal Government is creating the framework for future-oriented and needs-based immigration of skilled workers from abroad.

The aim of the new act is to make it easier for the qualified professionals Germany urgently needs in view of the already existing large shortage of staff and empty candidate markets, to come into the country. Qualified professionals are defined as people with a tertiary education degree or a vocational training qualification of at least two years. The foreign qualification has to first be officially recognized by the relevant authority in Germany.

What are the main innovations of the skilled immigration act?

The entry into the labor market will be made easier: the qualified professional must either be able to show an employment contract or a specific job offer. The so-called priority check by the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit - BA) is not applicable any longer. This means that it is no longer necessary to check whether an applicant from Germany or the EU is available for the same job.

Qualified professionals can pursue any occupation that their qualification enables them to do. This means that employment in related professions is made possible. The EU Blue Card is only ever issued as a residence permit for academics from outside the EU who start work in an EU member state which requires a university degree and an employment contract with a certain minimum gross salary.

The employment of specialists with professional, i.e. non-academic education, is no longer limited to occupations listed on the so-called whitelist (a list of shortage occupations for which there are not enough skilled workers in Germany). With vocational training recognized in Germany, the residence permit allows qualified professionals to gain access to all professions for which they qualify.

Specialists with qualified vocational training will be enabled to enter the country for their job search by being granted a residence permit for up to six months. The prerequisite is that the foreign qualification has been recognized by the responsible body in Germany, the costs of living are covered for the duration of the stay and the relevant German language skills are available (generally German language skills at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages are required). During the duration of the six moths residence permit, employment of up to ten hours a week will be possible. Professionals with a recognised academic qualification, who as before are permitted to come to Germany for six months to seek employment, are also allowed to work on a trial basis.

Qualified professionals from abroad can obtain a settlement permit in Germany after just four years (previously five years).

What is new for the German companies looking for professionals?

Employers can initiate an accelerated procedure at the competent immigration office in Germany if they are given a power of attorney from the professional they intend to employ. This will significantly shorten the duration of the administrative procedure before the visa is issued. The following information and steps are important:

The company and the immigration office must conclude an agreement, including authorizations and obligations of the employer, the employee and the authorities involved (immigration office, Federal Employment Agency, recognition agencies, German representation) and a description of the employment procedures.

The Immigration Office advises the employer, supports him in carrying out the procedure for the recognition of the foreign qualification of the employee, obtains the approval of the Federal Employment Agency and checks the requirements for granting immigration. The recognition agencies and the Federal Employment Agency must make a decision within certain deadlines.

If all requirements are met, the immigration office issues a so-called pre-approval, which they send to the employer to be passed on to the future employee. The qualified professional then books an appointment with the German mission abroad to apply for the visa. That appointment will take place within three weeks. The original of the pre-approval along with further documents necessary for the visa application must be submitted at that occasion.

After the complete visa application has been submitted by the employee, it is usually decided on within a further three weeks.

The accelerated procedure also includes the spouse and minor, unmarried children of the professionals if their visa application is submitted at the same time and if the family members meet the legal requirements for the subsequent immigration of family members.

Before marrying my wife, my business was moving well. I had an appliances big shop with full of things. I made a lots of money monthly and was able to pay all my bills and take care of my single mother and siblings without fail.

Bbut since we got married, just two months and 5 days after our marriage, my shop caught fire. I have lost almost everything only managed to save some few things, had to pay for all the damages to my landlord (the shop owner ) I’m still owning him money and I’m now renting a small shop but things are not working.

I have so much debts to pay to so many people including my previous shop landlord, can’t afford a 3 square meals, can’t afford to pay house rent, can’t afford to pay my shop rent and we have moved to my parents house.

My wife is pregnant and due in April, we haven’t bought anything for the baby. I wish never met her in my life cos she has completely destroyed my life and I have nothing left. She is evil. Haven’t confronted her cos of her condition, don’t want to add more stress to her and am waiting for her to put to bed then I will confront her and chase her away. I will keep the baby with me so she can go with her child she had before we met. I just hate her so much and I want nothing to do with her anymore.

Please what do you suggest I do?
She might and might not be responsible for your misfortune.

However, I got to know somethings recently which kept me in deep thought.

Out of greed and long troat, some ladies have been used for rituals and covenant renewal without them knowing or noticing anything strange in them.

There was this lady who had been used by her sugar daddy and without having a clue neither noticed anything strange in her life. She is even thinking of getting married someday. The implication on her life is that ..... she can never be fortunate in life, Aje (fortune)has departed from her. Implication on whosoever marries her is that " she will bring misfortune into the person's life and anything called fortune will be far from the person".

Except God chose to show mercy on the lady if she surrender her life to Christ.

I am not saying that is the situation with your wife but I am only trying to orientate other readers on the need to get closer to God when it comes to choosing a wife in this perverted world of today.

Truth be told, you are blessed with a very good man and you want to use your hand to scatter your home.

One thing most ladies should know is that men get overwhelmed with responsibilities and challenges at work/business that they sometimes forget their own birthday. Seriously!

Most ladies can't help you with the load but rather dump theirs on it to make it more heavier. You will hear sayings like my husband is no more romantic without trying to find out what is happening the man's life. Some will even say "since he did not seat me down to table the matter...."

Please wakeup! Go on your knees and genuinely apologise to your husband for your folly.

As for that good for nothing old love, you will see reality after shifting your pant. You might not see him again if he gets to know that you are divorced or separated.

Pardon my language, you don't deserve your husband. Thank God there is still room to make amend.

Please get a tanker to refill your love tank even if your husband is draining it; because you have a very good man that is rare to get in today's world filled with illresponsible men.

Often times when Nigerians speaks about tribes in our country, they will speaks of other tribes as a single tribe but when it comes to Hausa and Fulani they will joint it as Hausa/Fulani. There is nothing like Hausa/Fulani. We have Fulanis which speaks Fulfulde and are majorly herdsmen while we have Hausa who speak Hausa and are largely farmers.
Anytime you hear about high level of poverty in the north, trust me they are majorly Hausas whom the Fulanis have kept in perpetual poverty so that they wouldn't rise up one day to reclaim their birth right. Most Hausas are slaves in their own land as they have been keenly robbed but covered and decorated with religion so that they wouldn't see vividly.

Whenever I come across the Hausa people, I often pitty them as Xenophobia in SA is far better than what they are going through. Hausas have been captured, caged and sent to the bottomless pit. Their hope of regaining their freedom is very slim. Their captors kept selecting some greedy few among them and rob their lips with the oil from the delicious jollof rice which they only perceive the aroma but are not allowed to taste....

Let's forget about religious brainwashing, most Hausas are nice and friendly.

Now that there are a lot of Hausas in the south, maybe they will get civilised and one day do the needful.

As for the Ilorin matter, advocacy had started, those ones have woken up from their religious slumbering and they want to collect their cake from their master.

Please I need urgent help! My dad used to be working in a company and had been contributing pension money during his service years thro' IBTC.

Unfortunately, he's late, but before he died he had been making withdrawals of the said pension after his service with the company. I approached the bank, but it appears the guy I met want to stop us from getting the money and corner to theirs. Please now that my dad is dead, are his children not entitle to this money since it was a contributory pension?
Sorry my response is coming late. Most of the people don't understand OP's frustration, let me put a little light there in.

Stanbic IBTC pensions often use some Stanbic IBTC bank enquiry staff to also handle pension matters in some of their branches. These staff in question often try their best in handling some pension issues but when the big ones comes (like OP's case) those guys often don't handle it well. Due to the fear of ........., they often find it hard to escalate to their HSS or the regional client service manager covering that jurisdiction while they keep posting the client at every visit.

OP, let me tell you these sure facts:

1. You are entitle to collect whatever amount that is left in your late father's RSA enblock.

2. No PFA will try to defraud or prevent you from accessing the death benefits most especially a reputable organisation like SIPML.

3. Not only will you get the value of the leftover retiree fund, you will also be paid whatever interest that has accrued so far into the account even during your period of processing.

However, I cannot be mentioning the documentation requirements on this platform but I will advise you to visit their main pension office in your state. If you are in Lagos or closer to Lagos, Kindly visit their head office at Plot 1678 Olakunle Bakare close, Victoria Island, Lagos. You can call their call centre line (01-2716000) to know their officer in your state where you will be advised appropriately.

Please do not pay/give anybody money with regards to the processing of your late father's benefits aside from the LOA processing.

Also, we are into this together, so do not hesitate to revert on this thread if there are any further issues.
