Christians will tell you God has a plan for their lives, and then they still go ahead to pray to God to change his plan. |
He died despite his prayer. Clear indication that god doesn't give a flying Bleep about your prayers. |
We are told that God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and perfectly good, while the Devil is the source of every "bad belle," every sickness, and every failure in our lives. Our pastors spend hours every Sunday leading "die by fire" prayers to bind the enemy. But if you take a step back and think logically for just five minutes, you will see a massive hole in this story. If God is truly as powerful as they say, why has he not destroyed the Devil once and for all? Well, the answer is simple: the Devil is a necessary character in a fictional script designed to keep you afraid and paying tithes. Think about it like a Nollywood movie. If the hero kills the villain in the first five minutes, the movie is over and nobody buys the DVD. Religion needs the Devil to stay alive so that the "business" can continue. If there is no Devil to blame for your poverty, you might start asking your government why the economy is bad or asking your pastor why your life isn't improving despite your seeds of faith. The Devil is the perfect scapegoat. He is the ultimate excuse for why an "all-powerful" God hasn't answered your prayers for twenty years. From a scientific and logical point of view, the idea of an all-powerful being leaving a "wicked" subordinate to torture his children is a sign of a very bad father or a total lack of power. If you see a snake in your child’s room and you have a cutlass, do you leave the snake there and tell your child to "keep praying" for protection? No, you kill the snake. The fact that this supposed "God" allows the "Devil" to keep roaming the earth suggests that either he cannot stop him, or he is working with him to keep us in a state of terror. The truth is that neither of them exists. There is no red man with horns and there is no old man in the clouds. What we call "the Devil" is just a mix of bad luck, poor choices, and a failing system. We don't need a spiritual war; we need better schools, better hospitals, and more critical thinking. Once you realize that there is no Devil to fight, you stop wasting your energy on "spiritual warfare" and start fighting the real problems in front of you. |
This move only solve the problem at hand momentarily. Factually, there's an urgent need to ease down the cash crisis and look for sustainable ways to expand and revamp the economy towards a prosperous future. |

The government should not use this regulation matter to padlock the mouths of Nigerians in other to prevent them from venting their anger and frustrations about this crippled administration. |
This is what you get when those at the helm of affairs continue to siphon funds for personal aggrandizement, including funds that are meant of improve security. Sometimes I wonder if Nigeria was in Israel's place, what would have happened? We can't seem to tackle these internal threats talk less of external ones. |

Serious issues like this are taken lightly because of the depth of corruption that continues to permeate the Nigerian political landscape. But if pesin thief chicken, una go give the pesin lengthy sentence plus extra shege untop. |
I just hope this isn't one of those mouth-making adverts where you see polished equipments and buildings in print and online, but when you go for a physical visit it turns out to be the very opposite. |
