Travel › Re: Delta Awards Contract For Second Int’l Airport by komek(m): 2:31pm On Dec 13, 2013
The politics in Delta State has come into play ones again. Because there is an International airport in the Delta Northern part of the state, the Delta Central part needs one, soon the Southern part will come agitating for one. Since the commissioning of the Asaba international Airport, as at the last time i travelled, i discovered it was just 2 airplanes (Overland and Arik) that goes to Asaba, and we are talking of building the second one.

This is a State that has 2 govt/governor houses one in the Northern senatorial, while the second at the Central senatorial district (Annex).

This is a state that has 2 state owned and financed radio/ TV houses. One in the Northern senatorial and second in the Central Senatorial. (Delta TV and Delta Rainbow TV respectively.)

This is a state that has 3 state owned and sponsored polytechnics. One in the North, second in the South and third at the central (Ogwashi uku, Oghara and Ozorro)

This is a state that has 1 state owned and financed University with 3 campuses. One in the North, second in the south and third in the central.
(Asaba , Abraka and Oleh campuses).
This is a state that has one of the highest federal allocation and yet has nothing to show for it.

Because of these politics that is why u have a lot of abandoned projects everywhere in the state.. Asaba - Ughelli Expressway has been under construction for the past four and half years and yet they have not done 3km from the Asaba end.

my questions now are, HAS UDUAGHAN FINISHED THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN ASABA? Has UDUAGHAN finished with the construction of Warri park? Why has UDUAGHAN decided to put his hands in his throat, does he not know he will vomit?

Under the watchful eyes of UDUAGHAN, serious employment racket has been going on in Delta state...

Why are we wasting resources in this state? why cant we channel our resources to important issues...

Everything has totally gone off balance..

Honest Question:Is life all about women.?! sad
#ladies no offence[/quote]My brother, abeg help me beg them o.

All these so call marriage counsellors are the reason we have failed marriages everywhere. Our mothers did not have this problems.

When a woman leaves her duties and start equating hersef with her man like the OP is advicing, there is bound to be problem... I know someone will ask, since women are bringing in money in the house, what do u expect? The answer is our Mothers did and they stayed together.

cynbanora: I need to print out my invitations and without getting a reception venue that won't be possible, my wedding is in April and I can't afford to start giving out ivs then. Yes I'm considering cost cos I have a budget, if its nt possible I will just consider doing it onicha ugbo cos we have a hotel there. And its accessible. Ibusa and okwe isn't far but where exactly are you talking about? Please keep me posted if you get a reasonable one. Thanks
This is the problem, u have a hotel in Onicha ugbo and u are looking for a hall in Asaba. My dear, do the church thing in Asaba, drive down to onicha Ugbo and do ur reception. This is lets than 1hr movement. From St Agnes Maryland to Civic Centre V.I in Lagos is more than 1hr on a saturday and pple go that far.

How many hours does reception take these days? 2-3hrs and u are done for the day and save ursef the cost.

I will update u later in the day to tell about Okwe and Okpanam arrangement if there is any

cynbanora: My sister the thing tire me sef, I can do outdoors because the rains would have started by then. I'm so tired of searching #sobeat#
i dont seem to understand what u mean buy searching for halls in Asaba in 3months time.

If u are talking about this Dec, i will tell u that 95% of the Halls are fully booked in Asaba cos we are seriously having that challenge now, so we are thinking of moving the reception to a neighbouring town, like Ibusa, Okpanam, Okwe etc...

From my little knowlege about Asaba, Halls will be very free within that March and April period, except you are considering cost. Which i still know quiet well will be a bit low.

ogugua88: SHE DEY CRAZE?!?!

I'm sorry, but I do find that ridiculous odd. There's nothing wrong with having a hobby as such. I'm an avid football fan myself. The answer I'd have for her, she may not like. Something like smoking, drinking, staying out late, etc., are habits I wouldn't like in a partner, but watching football? Either she gets on board or leave me be. Sorry.

Na wa for woman wahala. *runs away*

Career › Re: Has Your Boss In The Office Ever Approached You? by komek(m): 10:54pm On Dec 03, 2013
My major problem wif Nigerian woman is the rate at which they lie.

They come to faceless forums like this to claim holy mary, but when u see them in the offices, u will discover that one difficult thing they do is to close their legs when they notice a senior boss, be it young or old boss.

They sleep with their bosses like no man's bizness and they come here to tell us bullshit.

Pls I don't want to start giving examples, but just know that these girls give in easily to their boss's request anytime.

Some of them will not even comment sef...

I did not want to comment on this thread, buh this caught my attention.

I was in that area for 5yrs...ur above belief was the reason I hate pple from Warri.

They believe being wise is for one to open his eyes and be shouting like a crazy dog.

This was the reason I dumped one babe recently cos she believes she can shout me down at any little arguement becos she was born and bred in Warri.
WTF

Iam a Deltan and not a Lagosian, Lagosian are too civil and are far wiser in a decent way abeg.

But of a truth, why are State owned Universities on strike na..

Na fg employ those lecturers at the state level too?

Those asking who will teach these students should also note that in the same meeting where Federal Unis were told to resume, the VCs were also told to put up vacancy announcement for new lecturers too.

I see what happened when Doctors refused to stop their strike in Luth and they were all sacked, and they came back begging to be reinstated.
