safarigirl:I don't consider you anything and you don't know what my scope of knowledge is for you to make deduction about it or me. I am not sentimental and emotive driven. I'll give you first hand information. You can believe it or not. Sone Aluko was dropped from the SE because a particular " bullish SE coach," no names mentioned. Required that he change his agent to the coaches preferred agent take up a contract in Turkey , otherwise he will be dropped from the SE. That is the facts of the matter, to prove it with preponderance of evidence in a civil court may prove problematic but that's the fact. I don't do Wild imaginative theories. I could say more, to what purpose, recognition on a faceless forum that's ludicrous. |
maidaboi:What's your point❓ What has Dennis got to do with Ejuke, can you give some clarity. Ejuke is the best player in his team ❓ if I was to say Vardy or Salah was the best player in thier team I would explain with some key performance indicators. So he is the best because you said so ![]() |
humility33:What do you know that nobody else does ![]() I have one mantra, it's not based on emotive preference but just , consistent, continuous , outstanding performance in your club and league. And if your in a lower league then you should be the most outstanding player well at least top three in that league. You can't be a mouse in lower league and club and all of a sudden become a Lion in the national team. There are exceptions but highly unlikely. Ighalo I rate highly because he had consistently done it. Desser is not better than Ighalo , Awoniyi who I know up close and personal I rate higher than the rest much higher and much more than KC. Awoniyi is a definitive out and out No. 9 a true striker. It's going to get hard and tough in the AFCON physically challenging too. And after years of learning and loan moved but steadily Awoniyi had begun to show real promise. But we don't look at teams in Isolation or rose tinted glasses but in comparison. In this regard Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal , Cameroon ( home factor) Algeria and Egypt are better than us. Your biggest flaw is you SEE things in isolation not by comparison and are way too emotive to make an objective comparison appraisal. Nigeria are not favourites at this AFCON. Even by our own standards by comparison of our own SE teams from years past in my opinion this is weakest team we brought to the AFCON in decades. With regards to Nwakali there is nothing to say that I haven't already said. Potential has shelf life that shelf life has EXPIRED. He is the quintessential product of a corrupt NFF. |
safarigirl:Every football game has an element of luck and fortitude. The team that prepares properly creates team cohesion and through working as a team can beat better teams with sheer hard work and determination. Nonetheless, cream always rises to the top. Last AFCON Algeria and Senegal were the best teams and Senegal was unlucky. If anything we were lucky to get as far as we did. On paper we are underdogs, there are at least 5 teams better than us on paper. Teams that win usually have a world class top player, that gives them an edge. |
drDoom3:I think you are caught up with a nostalgic quest for entertainment football characterised by dribbling, show boating and skill but with limited end product. Football has left that era behind even at AFCON and the days of gung ho, trying to dribble the whole team has Died. When a player's is skilful, technically astute, fast, physically resilient and strong all crowned with END PRODUCT even in an obscure league. He will not be unnoticed. Our best in form Striker is Dennis and he is not at the party, so also is Osimhen. If Ighalo plays we have hope. Ejuke is not the outstanding player in his league but he will go to the AFCON and set it on fire. I don't agree with your optimism. |
drDoom3:Agreed without question |
12large1:They got to the Final and where beaten by Algeria by a lone goal. So I disagree. |
12large1:Can you explain please ? KC is so heavily left foot reliant , he cannot be called an excellent finisher . Personally I think Ighalo is a better finisher. |
Utonwanne:There is no sentiment clubs want the best players. |
drDoom3:This is not sentiment but truth |
isan:Thank you ? |
Edopesin:I come Benin I take torch light find you I know see. I tink say u don JAKPA ![]() |
ChrisKels:You are incoherent and are unable to see matter's in perspective. Lame excuse for what I really don't understand your train of thought. He is an outstanding player who had to overcome multiple obstacles before MAKING IT.The context of his obstacles, contentions, is the UK with all its institutional RACISM, socio- economic exclusion, Favouritism, etc. In the UK millions of boys dream of becoming professional footballers. They start from a very elaborate grass root system of local football at age 5/6, yes even at this age records are kept. It's from these grass root clubs the cream of the crop are selected. Some from age 5,6,-7 and others even later even at age 16 like Ademola Lookman signed by Charlton from local football. However, even among the very few selected to academies every year many are dropped. Some are so disappointed they commit suicide. It's not easy, all your life in an academy and dropped like lead when your 17 that's Psychologically devastating. But back to your errant, misguided to large extent befuddled comparison response. What are you implying he had it EASY , his struggles lack substance, he is undeserving of his attainments, he is not outstanding. Your comparison makes no sense. I should therefore say. There is no suffering in Nigeria, because people are still able to eat once a day, bread and coke with Akara in Nigeria. That if you were in Burkina Faso, you would be drinking Juice from the Boabob tree and it's bark for your main once a day meal. Suffering is suffering irrespective of your location, one man's meat is another persons poison. I've seen Nigerian so depressed from loneliness they have become institutionslised in mental homes. You may think the streets here are paved with gold, l can assure they are not. There are many things that are better in Nigeria. If you move those boys from Nigeria to UK the socio cultural dynamics will see them become something else you had not anticipated. Do you know the many boys fresh from Nigeria that did not make it in football. Go to Antwerp and you will see hundreds of boys now old men who came to fulfill football dreams in Europe. They are now washing cars to survive and too ashamed to return home. Because they cannot meet the crazy Expectations put on them at home in Nigeria. |
humility33:That's not true AT ALL. |
RiceProducers:Very funny , ignorance is bliss. You may find this hard to believe but one of the requirements for the British Army for new recruits. Is a good skill set honed from playing military war games on PS4/5 and other platforms. Ha ha you must think that's very immature. When we talk about RWS ,you also have semi remote with a turret and target acquisition software , stabilised and incorporated with night day high resolution cameras with thermal imaging converged with your laser range finder Your RWS will be stabilized that means even when in motion on rough terrain your target software will make the correct compensation as well as does the TARGET TRACKING If you use a static RWS then you will 95% of the time have HIGH LEVEL elevation giving you spatial awareness and clear unobstructed over sight vision of up to 10km depending on the system you have. The idea that you will have obstruction because of shrubs , undulations in terrain and buildings particularly with FLIR incorporated in your system. Is honestly a nonsensical proposition without substance. I'll try and find a few YouTube video clips ,as they say , a picture says a thousand words and I guess a video says a million. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxLkkgodLg4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJnM0bEUpd8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAvFkeBXeoc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry_mzmFkFTs |
Karlovych:Eze Eberechi was released at 14 by Arsenal he went near ,8 different clubs and was about to give before QPR gave him opportunity within months he was in the first team. The rest is history. |
TheGoodJoe:I knew first hand what had happened to with Osaze and the dishonourable way he was treated manipulated by WBA. I did not join the rabble to malign him. I believe in fair play, one standard for all, no exceptions, assesment based on objectivity not sentiment, guided by truth and integrity. All anchored on the HERE and NOW present continuous consistent outstanding quality performances in club and league. And if you are in a lower league then you should be the most outstanding top three performer. |
elyte89:Children are a blessing that come from God, indeed you are blessed. Congratulations !!! |
Edopesin:Chairman woryae Dekonoyae Were u deh since |
andrewbaba44:Agreed without question |
IDENNAA:You are an incorrigible bigoted TRIBALIST. It seems the excess vitamin D you are getting from the hot dry sun in Burkina Faso has befuddled your brain. |
Oasis001:We are not short of midfielders, just short on INTEGRITY, PROBITY, FAIR-PLAY, and TRUTH. We have just denied better , consistent , performing midfielders opportunity. |
Meliforme:Osimhen is not in AFCON and so I am lost for words.
|
jihday:It seemed you have joined the unsuccessful rabble rouser. Tega Abraham was the top goal scorer with 15 goals in 2019/20 he was 21 and in 2020/21 despite being denied game time and FROZEN out of the team , he was still the highest goal scorer. So Dr 2 Know what does he have to prove ❓, he scored more goals than anybody else while having in some cases less than half the game time. |
ChrisKels:You love to clutch at straws shamelessly telling big lies and creating your own narrative birthed from your dark imagination. I always say in the Here and Now maybe you have forgotten. In addition football is always about the present continuous. Can you therefore tell me the last time I mentioned Ikpeazu as a SE prospect if EVER, because I haven't. When was the last time I mentioned Chuks Aneke as a prospect along side Onyedinma, actually 2/3 seasons ago. The same follows for Tega Onomah. I noticed you did not mention Tomori, Aina , Tega Abraham, Tosin Adarabioyo, Eze ,Olise, Iorfa, that I mentioned in the same time period. WHY ![]() Players form, performances, in the HERE and NOW and the present may go up and or go down. So when a player is not performing we exclude them. We then look for those who are outstanding consistently performing, it's simple, we don't Lower the standard and keep selecting poor performer's, that is mediocrity. We do not enthrone mediocrity or base our HERE and NOW standard on historical performances at youth level 7 years ago. That's LUDICROUS. In addition I have a higher expectations level for the SE which means that I just think certain player's have not done enough to be considered. That's why I haven't mentioned someof them for 2/3 seasons. But in the HERE and NOW considering how low the bar of standards is in the SE . Maybe that approach is flawed and unfair to these Championship players. Turkish league is rated 18 in Europe and within that range you have Cyprus and Czech league. If the EPL is the best in the World, is it wrong to consider that Championship may be better than those leagues ❓❓ I can assure without an iota of doubt that the Championship is unequivocally better than the Scottish premier League and it's rated number 9 in Europe. Food for thought for those who have an open mind to think. You allege some one is making "idiotic statements' l have already in a previous post posted his wage level, small error I admit, he is the second to the last lowest paid player in Huesca. You claim "intelligent statement". with regard to the bold that Nwakali was an unproven academy player. Let's examine your intended disinformation, In 2016/17 he played 29 games in the Eerste Divisie ( 2nd tier Dutch league) he got a move 2017/18 to the Eredivisie but had to come down back to the Eerste Divisie,in the same season he wasn't good enough in the same 2017/18 season. At end of the season he was so poor he went Porto B in the 2018/19 could not even make the B team proper. Obviously Porto didn't even consider him ,he was obviously too good. He then goes to Huesca because nobody wanted him and he takes a peanut contract in 2019/20 he played 5 games or thereabouts and they Huesca no found him so well below standard and loaned him to a very lowly Alcorcón fc 2020/21. He is back to Huesca and he is doing ok it seems but he is not outstanding, just making up the numbers. But they have not upgraded his contract. What does that tell you , maybe he needs the SE to boost his failing career. So this is your definition of an unproven academy player, CHEI !!! I hail you . |
drDoom3:It doesn't matter Chelsea play him as a striker and even completely froze Tega Abraham for him and Timo Werner. Last two seasons in Bundesliga 17 goals in 2018/19 after 34 games ,then in 2019/20 he scored 12. When you pay £72 million for a player he should do better than your existing player's. But he has been poor in relation to his transfer fee thats a big flop. |
andrewbaba44:I did not say lowest paid player in the Segunda Division but the lowest paid player in Huesca. Below screenshot is self explanatory ,I correct myself he is the second to last lowest paid player in his club.
|
ChrisKels:Let's burst your DELUSIONAL bubble, if he is so good why is he the lowest paid player in his Segundo division team Huesca ❓I will not ask why he has stayed in mediocrity for five years from one lower league to another even descending to youth football in Porto B and still struggling. Is it only the coaches in the NFF have eyes to see ,that nobody is else in European football can see. I know you will not answer the question but resort to gutter language and vitriolic rhetoric EVADING the question completely. Evasion master always making noise and changing the subject because you just cannot get into a civil substantive discussion. |
humility33:You can talk utter balderdash and If I question you on details you will go missing. But let's see if the leopard can Indeed change his spots. Kai Havertz has played 16 games in the EPL this season and scored 2 goals, last season 27 games and 4 goals , he has been played as a striker he cost £72 million. Him and Timo Werner were supposed to be better than Tega Abraham. But alas both of them flopped he cost £50 million. This is the quintessential definition of a player who has flopped. Nationaliyy had nothing to do with it. Now tell me the innit boys as you call them in your SHAMELESS bigoted double standard bigotry and quasi tribalism. Who l have hyped here, I challenge you to name just three. |
humility33:On this occasion I agre with you UNQUESTIONABLY. |
TheGoodJoe:Well I hope not because unfortunately Sia Sia hand no clean, he like deal just like Salisu. |
2lola:What do you find so offensive Three simple questions that you and your other noisemakers completely avoid , Why 3 Questions should not cause this level of rancour and vitriolic rhetoric.I'll repeat the questions; 1.) Is he is the most outstanding player in his team ❓ 2.) Is he the best Midfielder in his team ❓❓ 3.) Is he outstanding in his low level league ❓❓❓ If I say a player is good I will give some level of justification rational not just emotive preference. The question then arises what's the justification for his selection, historical youth exploits 7 years ago. |
