Statistics do not lie only people.

Nonetheless, statistics are indicative and not conclusive. Matters should be taking into context of quality of league and when a player is warming bench continuously, that's a question mark too.

You are emitting negative energy...What you wrote about Nacho isn't true... He has proven it countless times that he can deliver if he is given enough game time... We all saw it last season when he started scoring important goals when Rodgers started to play him more..
You said he hasn't shown Rodgers why he should start..Does that make sense to you? Somebody that scored important goals to win you your first career trophy in England! It isn't a question of his ability buy Rodgers preference...
You don't have a right to play .

You earn the right to play by what you do on the pitch and in training. 13 game's and 2 goals is very poor old man Vardy 15 games 9 goals.

All this negative energy you emit about Nigerian players won't take you anywhere... I dunno why you spend so much effort on it..

Iheanacho scored the goals that won Leicester the FA cup and community shield last season..He scored important goals that helped them quality for Europe..He won the player of the month award.. What more do you want him to do?

I've often said it that you didn't start supporting Liverpool until very recently, and you have proved it again.. Otherwise, you would have known Rodgers from his time at Liverpool to be bias when it comes to players selection...

You should give it a rest already...
No he is not , he gave Raheem, Ibe , Sinclair thier first real starts at Liverpool. He went and bought Balotelli with all his problems, he bought Benteke to name just a few.

Nacho has not done enough to warrant a first team start
His assistant is Kole Toure he has so much influence at Leicester that the number of African coaches in the academy is mind blowing.

Somebody called him a Leicester flop lol...
KC has played 13 game's in the EPL this season 2021/22 and scored a very impressive 2 goals.

Football is about the HERE and NOW and not the last season. Form is about current continuous performance not past hopeful performance.

How many goals and assists does he have as a forward since 2019?

Leicester bought him because he was English and they thought him a prospect due to few good games he had at the beginning of the season for Fulham. At the tail end of his Fulham season, his form waned again and he hasn't recovered till tomorrow. Best described as a flash in the pan. Nothing special
He has the same goal tally as KC playing from the wing and less games so he is nothing special , so what does that make KC very unspecialhuh huh Your sense of reasoning is bewildering.

Money is the problem, the army isn't new to RCWS, the VT4 and ST1 have RCWS. The cost of equipping a dongfeng with RCWS is enough to buy another dongfeng. For an army still moving around and fighting in hilux guntrucks, it will be a misplaced priority to go RCWS when most of your troops are still moving around in soft skins some RCWS in the market will pay for 2-3 light armored vehicles.
If you have a fire in your house, you don't carry water with a pale to end that fire. You get a high pressure water hose attached to fire truck and in a few minutes fire is over and totally out. With other option your House will be burned to ashes.

This war will not be won with air power it's a attrition warfare with a very elusive enemy. I hope you know it's possible to hide from aircraft. Much more so the turbo props A29 that give you enough warning with their loud engines to hide in the shrubs and long grass of the sahel Savannah. They Boko technicals just have to keep hidden for a few hours and it's over. I don't think the A29 will consider flying low to become targets for multiple AA gunfire.

Until you are prepared to commit autonomous search and destroy missions with the right armoured vehicles and precision weaponry we will be in stalemate.

When we do procurement we buy in units of 10,20 30 maybe ,60. It's abysmal, not good enough. That's why we are overstretched.

Our procurement should be in multiples of 1000 that makes an immediate and overwhelming impact on the battlefield management and strategy , you then ANNIHILATE your enemy.

What we are doing is like never taking the full course / dosage of malaria drug's to destroy the malaria in our system. So the malaria never goes away and it then develops resistance and become a bigger problem spreading to other parts of the body ( nation)

Until we have a better strategy with regards to procurement this situation will NEVER END. I did ask once for us to make suggestions what we would have done with the ,$600 million wasted on A29. Many hailed it as the one stop solution to end Boko.

Finally, I want you to consider your proposition in the bold. And I will turn it upside down and pribay leave feeling BEWILDERED in unbelief.

I can procure 3 used, fit for purpose MRAP type armoured vehicles for the cost of one brand new Toyota 70 series pick
which retail in excess of $55K if you add modifications then much more. The vehicles I am talking about are much more resilient, have huge survivability and ten times the lifespan of a Toyota series 70 soft skinned pick up truck in the battlefield. Some have less than 5000 km so very close to being brand new.

I want to believe that our highly trained senior officer know this but I'm not entirely sure huh huh Because incompetence is rife in all our government divisions.

So money is ABSOLUTELY not the problem but a lack of knowledge, ingenuity and quest for best value and use of resources for greatest efficacy. On the other hand we could also say, the quest for personal interest over rides national interest, graft.

Nothing to be excited about from my perspective.

If I have a RWS FLIR and the obligatory target acquisition software. What it means is that even at 1000 metres you have near 95% accuracy. That means you can effectively take out sorry disintegrate and barbecue 5/6 technical within a few minutes. You will not be REPELLING but chasing down and DESTROYING.

What do you think is the level of accuracy of someone using steel sites at 1000 metre with a HMG mounted on on on our vehicles, at very best 50% of rounds will hit the target in reality about 25% with a moving target maybe 10%.

What that means is that if you have 20 Boko technicals engaging with you will end up REPELLING them not necessarily ANNIHILATING DESTROYING & ROASTING them. So they will live to fight another day.

That means if you have RWS mounted on your armoured vehicles, you can effectively take out sorry disintegrate and barbecue 5 technicals within a few minutes. You will not be REPELLING but chasing down and DESTROYING.

Furthermore, I would have on my RWS for our armoured vehicles grenade launcher 40mm like the USA Mk-19 or the Ukrainian KBA-117 which we had on the few BTR-4 we had but they have been badly maintained. It's a much more effective weapon in the sahel Savannah with all the shrubs and high grass where your enemy may seek to hide and carry out ambushes.

Our lack of forward thinking and strategic plans both regional and sub regional , is really a huge disadvantage.

Wagner group have moved into Mali and will unscrupulously uphold this bunch of not exactly popular military coup potters running the country.

This has implications for us. Our backyard is going to be a front for geopolitical positioning by the USA and NATO and China/ Russian on the other side.

A new cold war is looming and we have no plan .

COMMANDER CORPS OF ARTILLERY TASKS GRADUANDS ON PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

The Commander Corps of Artillery Major General Tari-Timiye Gagariga has tasked fresh Graduands of the Nigerian Army Training Center to always maintain high professional standards in their conduct during operations. CCA gave the advice on Thursday 23 December, 2021 in Kontagora during the graduation ceremony of 288 officers and men of the Nigerian Army who had undergone training on Basic Camel MRAP and APC EQ Series Vehicle Course.

The Commander Corps of Artillery who was the Special Guest of Honour at the event was represented by the Chief of Staff, Headquarters Nigerian Army Corps of Artillery, Brigadier General Lebonsina Lebo, stated that the continuous emergence of the asymmetric threats which appears majorly in the form of terrorism and insurgency and being perpetrated by criminals across the country makes the Training more relevant at this time. Major General Gagariga therefore charged the outgoing trainees to do everything possible to sustain the knowledge acquired during the training.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Commander Nigerian Army Training Center, Major General Oluyinka Soyele explained that the training covered wide range of sensitive and strategic operations, saying that the exercise will go a long way in enhancing professional capacities and duties of the graduands when eventually deployed for operations.

The Commander thanked the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya for the support to the Center. Stressing that success in the conduct of the training would not have been possible without his support.

In his speech, the Chief of Training, (Army) Major General Abdulsalami Ibrahim, represented by Brigadier General Aminu Usman stated that the just concluded training of selected Nigerian Army personnel which is a collaborative partnership between Nigerian and Chinese Government, with Nigerian Army Training Center as host institution, is aimed at effective drive and maintainance of the newly acquired platforms.

Major General Abdulsalami Ibrahim explained that the newly procured Camel Mine Resistance Anti Ambush Protector (MRAP) and Armour Personnel Carriers Multi-Functional EQ Series were acquired to ehance better performance for the Troops against insurgence and other forms of security challenges in the country, charging the Troops not to relent until criminals under any guise are flushed out of the country.

He congratulated the graduands for the successful completion of the special training and urged them to be law abiding citizens with high sense of Professionalism and to conscientiously imbibe maintainance culture on the equipments.

The Chief of Training expressed his appreciation to the Commander Nigerian Army Training Center, Director Soldiers Professional Training Directorate, and all the instructors and supporting Staff of the Center, specially commending the Chinese partners for their wonderful contributions to the success of the Course.

In his vote of thanks, the Head of Foreign Partners Mr Tang Tian appreciated the Commander, students, the leadership of the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Government for given him and his company the opportunity to serve, saying that the collaboration will go a long way in fostering better relationships between Nigeria and China.

High point of the occasion was the colourful presentation of certificate and award to the only participating female soldier, while motorcycles were presented to instructors who distinguished themselves during the Training exercise.

Having a tin box with a mounted HMG is not necessarily going to give you overriding superiority.

The basic weaponry on our armoured vehicles should be RWS with either a Grenade launcher and or HMG.

We need to up the game.

Went through some posts but I think people have not adjusted to the current football climate. For instance, Jude Bellingham that made the statement is a testament of the modern game. He is so fit, insanely fast and has an exceptional work rate. With players working this hard to stay conditioned,we can not expect it easy to dribble like in the past.
What's shocking to this kid scored his first goal for Birmingham City when he was 16, he is now only 18 , a regular and outstanding player for B. Dortmund in the Bundesliga and has already got 10 caps for England senior national team.

Quite a few of them from the old Uniben days with the various leanings.

Do you remember what Glen Hoddle said about the agreement he was asked to sign giving a huge chunk of his salary to a particular individual.

Glenn Hoddle is a guy of unquestionable INTEGRITY l have no doubt about his disclosures, also he is very well off. He was doing the job to make a name not money.

The quest for foreign coach is wound up in the quest to make under handed £££€€€$$$.

Some times, you need players with unique qualities to fit into a strategy.
Na you deh talk like this haba

Quality that only who can see ❓

Quality is not hidden it is expressed and commended with lucrative contracts to top clubs and league.

Aina, Tomori, Ademola, Bellingham, Richards , all left the second tier Championship to top clubs and better first tier league in the EPL, Bundesliga and Seria A. Because they were outstanding in that league.

You cannot say someone is outstanding and after five years of opportunity has remained in mediocrity in a very poor Segundo division.

The Dude is the lowest paid player in his club. Do you know league two players get more money than him in England.

You are being emotive.

The guy failed woefully at Arsenal he was not in good enough. He goes to Porto and they put him in the youth team. At every stage of his career he had not been able to step up. What skill and talent did he have that he could not eclipse those small boys in Arsenal.

And please don't say racism and favouritism.

Go and look at Aston Villa Carney Chukwuemeka ,l watched this boy destroy almost single handedly Liverpool U18.

These are the unknown Hidden gems we should be getting on board not getting lost in nostalgia for youth players who have not grown beyond that level. Add to that age is no longer on his side ( whether it's football age or not)

This matter should be buried let's look at upcoming talents who are yet to explode in top teams .

Until the people here start seeing inviting a player to come compete doesn't mean he should come and start, they'll keep on typing what doesn't make sense.

When Okoye was invited, he was in 4th division and was averaging over 2+ goals conceded per match but heaven didn't fall, why's the heaven trying to fall now that some people are calling for someone in 2nd division to be invited to come see if he can add bite to the midfield?

I watched a video a few days ago.

And a whole community was taken over by Bandits, cultists and criminals.

I am not talking of a small village, but a community town somehow in Imo state. There were 4 storey buildings it could easily be a LGA head quarters.

And these devilish criminals were actually cooking and eating people practising cannibalism. They had kidnapped traditional ruler's and had a a fleet of cars stolen from to thier victims.

It was gory and horrifying, but this it seemed had been going on for months on end the entire community was deserted and a complete ghost town.

Now I know the people will have reported this matter to the police. But these deranged criminald were allowed to thrive without response from the police for months on end.

How can this be HAPPENING huh

The governor actually came to the community in company of the Army ,DSS, Navy , Police, etc

It was reported the order was given to kidnap and kill the traditional ruler's by Nnamdi of IPOB. How true I really do not know.

But my concern is that has the SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE collapsed because that's what this is complete failure of government to provide security it's the hallmark of a failing state.

What's is GOING ON.❓❓❓

Osimhen does not need to watch Benzema, Lewandowski and Kane to learn shooting techniques..

Osimhen is playing for Napoli, while 2 of the players you mentioned are playing for 2 of the best teams in the world with very good midfielders and chance creators, If Kane was playing for Man City he would score more goals than he does at Tottenham...

same goes for Osimhen, If Osimhen was playing for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Man City he would score more goals than he does at Napoli.... but it also depends on how the coach plays him..

Its the same reason Oshoala scores more for Barcelona than Super Falcons even though she misses opportunities when playing for Nigeria..

Lukaku is also playing for a world class team but his not scoring regularly... does that mean he should also watch Benzema, Lewandowski and Kane to learn shooting techniqueshuh huh

Osimhen has scored more goals than Kane this season so its Kane that should learn from Osimhen

The question is what is the NFF doing to address the problem ,what's the long term plan.

Our local football is in shambles compared to years when our local teams had dominance both local and international. They were the main recruitment ground initially for the larger bulk of SE.

You don't know if James has anything with respect to that because you have not seen him trained to play that role. Players have been making adjustments since time.

Recently, we watched Zinchenko move from the midfield role to the left back role and excel. He does not play the role in similar fashion to most left backs. He made a tactical adjustment to make it work.

It is tactical adjustment.
In reality everybody can play any position at any time, that's not the dispute.

The pertinent question is how proficient and effective can he play that position in comparison to the other players in the team. In Manchester United he will not be able to displace anybody in the midfield that's the objective reality.

If you were to take him to a lower club and physically less tasking league he may Indeed find space to play and be effective. But in Manchester United it is s big No NO.

Everything is not just theory you must put things in perspective and realistic with objectivity not just theory .
