andrewbaba44: Yes the best will be picked, but trust me Akpoguma will start in that team alongside Ekong or ajayi
You have started your rubbish, akpoguma is playing in the bundesliga and you are here telling me about the english second tier? wetin consign bundesliga starter and the championship You think any championship defender will even start at hoffeinham ?
Those your favorite players in the championship wont even make any of those german teams
You dey talk wetin i no ask you, what has awaziem got to do with whata i said ?
Etebo was not more of a reguar at getafe and you cant compare the players in getafe and crappy stoke city, they are no match Will Akpoguma start at Fulham, Everton and Leeds. Because Everton have just paid £30 million for Ben Godfrey from the Championship. |

Iorfa is below average and will remain as such until he proves otherwise Actually he refused to leave in misguided loyalty, that was when he was a teenager invited to the England senior team. Then if he is below average what then are Awaziem, Omeruo, Shehu, Balogun, Ekong. |

Abeg! He chose to stay in the Championship. He had multiple opportunities to leave when he was a teenager. This is not an uncommon phenomenon albeit misguided emotive sentiment based one, giving loyalty to the club over career progression. |

andrewbaba44: I hope omeruo moves to a better club soon
We cant be having to many division 2 players in the eagles
We pray for ajayi to get promotion with west brom and it works out then ekong self go the same championship
I hope Akpoguma will be starting in that team because he is playing for the best club in all our CB
Akpoguma should be the first name on that CB then maybe Ekong /Ajayi should fight for the remaining spot I completely and totally disagree. Let him train and prove himself to be quality against other players and let the best players get picked. The question i could ask it's still valid but seems retrogresive. Do you think if Akpoguma was playing in the championship he would be the stand out CB in the Championship ❓ You could say the same for Omeruo at his peak when he played in the Championship he was outclassed by a teenage Dominic Iorfa. Awaziem simply would not survive he is too slow. Ekong is now in the Championship and let's see if he will be outstanding. Consider that Etebo arguably our best Midfielder was not able to carve out a place for himself in the Championship as an outstanding player. But was able to walk straight into Getafe in La Liga. I see no problems inviting Tosin and lorfa and let them fight and show thier quality and the best players get selected. |

timay: Common, Komekn is not that crazy. Only a person with half a brain will claim that a 3rd tier league is better than a top flight Bulgarian league. The assistant managers of Sunderland James Fowler, who played for 17 years in the Scottish Premier league must have a half brain too. So also the professional players who all played in the league too.You can see thier screen shots below . The Scottish league is rated 14 in Europe and it's well accepted that the Scottish league is rated on par with English league one. Meanwhile the Bulgarian league is rated 27 in Europe almost 13 positions disparity in quality. And for you think that backwaters dark ages league is on par with even English league two. Don't you think the person with a half brain may be looking at you in the mirror.

There is a British passport but in order for you apply for a switch. Home department must consent to your proposal to file for a switch of allegiance and usual takes a long period of time for this to be done at least a year coz you must meet up with some certain requirements and alot of paper works is required I can assure you are wrong. smartsmith0907: My brother you can't undermine his ability coz he is playing for championship Can we say because look man is playing in Fulham is better than benhrama hell no as a matter of fact benhrama can break into Big 5 clubs in England yet he is in championship my Broda most times your agent influence matters alot No long caps tosin has a very good agent to be able to move to Fulham on transfer deadline I can say boldly iorfa has a bad agent common maja moved from league one ( Sunderland) to ligue one ( Bordeaux) how much more iorfa that has been one of the best defenders in championship can't move to a EPL Lastly I rate iorfa more than Soares in wolves my broda quote me anywhere Iorfa can make wolves team he is that good No caps Iorfa does not have a bad agent. I absolutely know there are some EPL clubs looking at him as we speak. Why do they stay in the Championship because it's the first step to the EPL. The money is very good and most would rather stay in England. I can assure you 100% if Dominic wanted to go to Seria A, Bundesliga and lower level of La Liga he would find a club today. Look at the number or players leave first tier league in Europe 1st tier league to play in the Championship. That tells you story in itself. |

Karlovich: So the Portuguese takeover has kept Iorfa in the Championship for close to four seasons in a row, Ok I believe you. Regarding the other players, of course I respect their decision to represent other nations, but Komekn is putting it in such a way as though Nigerian coaches don't reach out the players, even the Iorfa in question trained with the England senior team at some point. What do you understand by Reach out. I know a number of Nigerian origin players that Rohr visited and made promises that never came to anything. I do understand that on getting to Nigeria, there was opposition within the NFF. For reasons l do not wish to speculate on. |

We can't be wasting our resources and time on someone that is not clearly better that what we already have. It's just a common sense!
Iorfa, Tosin, Lookman all turned us down for England but none was invited for obvious reasons - not being good enough
Jordan Aiybe and Solanke said NO to us but has not been invited by England because they are of poor quality. If reverse has been the case, you would have held us by the throat None of the players in bold have ever wanted to play for Nigeria. |

Karlovich: in your first paragraph, if Iorfa was better than them, then what is he doing in the championship? Akpoguma and Balogun play at a higher level than him and most importantly they are all Nigerian internationals at the moment. In your last paragraph, I'm guessing you also associated with Tammy, Agbonlahor, Tomori, Nedum Onuoha, Carlton Cole, John Salako, John Fashanu, Chris Armstrong, Chris Iwelumo, Ugo Ehiogu (RIP), Ross Barkley, Dele Alli and Now Saka. They are all of Nigerian origin. Please can you tell me how many of them represented Nigeria You are deviating from the core issue. Akpoguma said along with his father for several years I DONT WANT TO PLAY FOR NIGERIA. I want to play for Germany. Akpoguma has declared for Nigeria and within weeks he is FIFA cleared. DOUBLE STANDARD Who is better is open to debate but thats not the issue. But the unguarded broad daylight FAVORITISM. Please don't confuse the discourse with other issues. And if anybody doesn't find issue with that it's HYPOCRISY. |

For how many years have we been getting clearance for Ademola, Ovie etc But we got clearance for Akpoguma who rejected NIGERIA OUTRIGHTLY in a matter of weeks. On the other hand there are 100 times more players of Nigerian origin in the UK than Germany. |

Karlovich: Some other better players were found in the case of Akpan, so far he is playing low level football. Anichebe was average for us and also at club level, Nevertheless their treatment when they got injured wasn't fair but it has nothing to do with their capabilities as footballers. With regards to Akpan I agree and disagree. If he had taken the option to align himself with the preferred agents of the indigenous NFF official coaches. He would be playing at the worst in Turkey, Belgium, Dutch and or the Bundesliga etc Would you call it low level then. You may find it surprising but players in English league two can earn in excess of £5k a week, not a lot bit in comparison to lower leagues in European quite normal |

Even Ejaria, Obafemi that is with Ireland now and Akpom trained with the Nigeria at some point in time, will you say that they were left in the wilderness. The earlier you admit that most English born players are reluctant to represent Nigeria when compared to their other foreign counterparts the better for you, unless you are campaigning for us to worship them like gods which is still not a guarantee that they will join Nigeria. By what unit of measurement do you conclude Iorfa is #### according to you. And if he is #### what then is Awaziem, Omeruo, Akpoguma and Balogun❓ Can l ask upon what have you anchored your opinion upon with regards to English Nigerian origin players. Association in person plus interaction with Nigerian origin players in England and so you must therefore reside in England to be so strongly convinced. opes: NFF went and pressed to get Tammy, Tomori, Eze and Saka. Those guys ain't just interested. Akpoguma said he was not interested AT ALL, his Father confirmed the same position it was somewhat derogatory for over three years and was consistent in that position all through. Then he does a U TURN and we get him FIFA cleared at supersonic speed. Eze expressly confirmed his commitment to play for Nigeria, but we left him in the wilderness for three years. Tomori was there to be capped before he blow we did not commit to him and he did not commit to us. Saka and Tega never said no unequivocally to Nigeria but made a choice to play for England. But Akpoguma Warri pikin or not made it blatantly clear in public, I AM NOT INTERESTED, I want to play for Germany. We went BEGGING, IMPRESSED UPON HIM, CONVINCED HIM. That's double standard. But we've seen huesca giving top teams in the LaLiga headache. You have deviated from the subject matter, nonetheless, l will indulge you. This is why the EPL is the most competitive league in the World. Liverpool lost 7-2, Tottenham flogged Manchester United and West Ham destroyed Leicester. I can still remember that day like yesterday. The match ended 4-2 in favor of the Germans. His switch did not come easy, but the Germans unlike the English, didn't make a mountain out of the molehill.
How I wish our F.A can snub these borough boys and focus more on getting players from other side of Europe/world commit to dorning our Jersey.
In the last 10years we have only being able to snatch 3(stand to be corrected) Aina,Moses and Iwobi from the jaws of the 3Lions. Compared to success with other dual nationality players(Balogun, Ekong, Dessers, Ebuehi, Ehizibue, etc). We got these guys with little to no fuss.
