Nonsense!
Omeruo got a goal and assists at the AFCON..and was our highest rated defender..second highest rated player after Ighalo..

You and forgiveness haven't dropped the CAF rating yet....just yammering out of obvious sentiments undecided
I posted the reference AT THE TIME, and if you want you can go look.

But otherwise believe what you like, not bothered.

Finally, Omeruo was far from outstanding responsible for two goals against us by Cameroon.

4 keepers in camp. Maduka, Yakubu, Alampasu and Tobias Lawal.

Akpoguma cleared to play.
Not too long ago, as usual people working on perceptive assumption.

Believed this process takes months.

I explained the issue is not FIFA but NFF.

Nonetheless, for a player who had publicly several times in the past made blatantly clear he wants to play for Germany.

We seemed to have " BEGGED HIM" As some describe it here, then at Supersonic speed got his clearance to play for Nigeria. I wonder why the preferential treatment.

To me without prejudice " Double Standard "

Big Wahala deh.

Manchester United have just signed Edinson Cavani , this essential means the end for Ighalo.

I like Ighalo in my opinion our best Striker currently right now on SE form. However, th arrival of Edinson makes it VERY DIFFICULT for Ighalo.

Without prejudice Cavani is better.

The only person fooling around here is you..
Sofascore and whoscored rated Omeruo as our best defender at the AFCON..in fact he was rated second only to Ighalo.

You are saying CAF rated Aina higher...where is the evidence? undecided
CAF rated Aina as the best Nigerian defender after the tournament.

Omeruo was at the very best average at AFCON.

Fulham are showing some ambitious moves apparently Ruben Loftus is on his way as well as Tosin Adarabioyo.

I still think they need another quality striker DESPERATELY in order to put in a transfer.

They are now having a lot of our boys in the squad potential quality SE players. Tega, Ademola, Adarabioyo as well as young potential Timmy Abrahams.

Komekn, an impoverished segunda side spent 10 million rising to 15 million on a player

What do you have to say to that?
First of all what l have read from the Spanish press is €5 million Euros in the first instance not the €10 million you claim.

The add ons are speculative dependant on perfomances, that is a sign of doubt not confidence. Screen shot from Spanish press below.

My view is very much unchanged. The Segunda is a very poor league with low quality players.

I asked someone to compare the budget of Fulham in the Championship to the entire Segunda División budget. But nobody took up the challenge.

How many players from the Segunda División with all its claimed quality by some delusional contributors. Have transferred for anything above €10 million Euros.

How many have gone to the top teams in any of Europes top three leagues. Make a comparison with the Championship.

Or you could look it the other way how many quality players have left top leagues to play in the Segunda División.

The league remains poor quality.

It's dissapointing that after all the noise about Sadiq Umar, that he was wanted by Manchester United, Lille, etc. This is where he has ended up Almeira in the Segunda División.

Nice one on bringing the aspect of the more marketable team to the fore. It can be a decider for some. But we both know that is not what decides choices for National team. Glory, fame, being a star, getting numbers and caps, that supersedes your point. We both know that. Tomori and Abraham have the market but if they don't kick ball again, the regrets will flourish. That's the truth.

Not that the SE is easy to waltz in to as opined by some, but its easier to get all what a player wants with the SE than with a team that is so loaded and star studded like England right now.

As for if Naija borns will wana grab opportunity, let's be more realistic. Performance isnt really top guage for the English team. No one has a starters shirt fully assured except in the attack option right now. So once again, its about getting consistent caps and winning laurels. Well i know you know that already. So I'll leave that.

KC change Allegiance? When he's worshipped like a god in Naija? See the welcome given Iwobi which till date, he affirms amazes and shook him to the core. The love the SE gives their players is way way bigger than the love the English will ever give their top stars. That's a big fact out there. That is also a difference.

In conclusion, Its not just about the money, its also about the Glory.
You really believe that.huh

A Nigerian player will pursue glory ( relatively speaking) over multi million pound marketing endorsements.

As soon as Rashford got capped he got an annual £2 million endorsements from Nike to name just one. That's approx £40k a week for essentially doing nothing.

And our 9ja players will reject that over what you call glory.

I have my doubts.

I find it incomprehensible as well as almost treacherous. Yet quite a few were giving me dogs abuse about my deductions.

That we spent $600 million on 12 turboprop aircraft of which it's taking 3/4 years to get the first one delivered.

We could have bought with $50 million 40 Chinese Wing Loong II UAV's in the HERE and NOW.

Bought refurbished used and upgraded SU25 with a few more heavy lift MI 8 helicopters.

Then used the rest to buy at least 2000 multiliple armoured vehicle platforms, MRAP'S, IFV'S, MBT's, APC's, LAV'S, etc. Some refurnished used and some new.

It's stark staringly obvious we HAVE LOST CONTROL of the NE.

If we had done that imagine the lives of our combatants that would have been saved.

Our house is on fire we need action now not tomorrow.

I doubt this. The use of Radio Wave energy for operation by UAVs remains a huge disadvantage. Portable SDRs (Software Defined Radios) powered military equipment are in advanced research stage. They will help lay waste to UAVs in future warfare.
The Turkish UAV'S are already ahead of the game using electronic counter measures to jam Russian radar and give themselves near stealth capability.

Why couldn't the Russians shoot down the Turkish UAV's in Syria in any impactful numbers.

Thi weekend games confirmed the EPL beyond all doubt as the most competitive league in the World.

Imagine Liverpool getting flogged by Villa and Manchester United getting violated by Tottenham and Leicester getting ripped by West Ham.

Fulham got beat by Wolves, but the perfomance was much more promising.

Ademola looked like a lion released from the cage, on the few minutes he played he was on Fire.

Fulham need another quality striker and forward player.

The team plays very good quality on the deck football but they have no killer edge, pretty football will not save you they need goals.

They know little about the SE. The Connection should be more than mere heritage. Sadly, that's where it presses full stop for most of them.

Loved his goal today.
There are others considerations.

The minute you as a young player with great potential and promise get an England call the marketing and sports endorsements start to come in.

When Rashford got his England call up his marketing value sky rocketed first endorsements with NIKE was about £2million pounds it's now about £10million annually.

These are MAJOR CONSIDERATIONS, now compare the marketing endorsements from the African continent and Nigeria. Think about that.

I have often said this that if Nigerian born and bred players had an opportunity to play for England would they say NO. I cannot oh, l love Nigeria my country, l can not lie, na for inside naija l go dye, l don't need those Millions of £££ or your passport.

KC is classed as an English homegrown player from Manchester city ( FIFA rules) l wonder if he had the opportunity to change allegiance and play for England.

Iwobi is playing the best football of his career, this is the fittest he has EVER BEEN. It's an absolute plus ➕ for the SE.

However, the achilles heal of Iwobi, he just does not score enough goals ot shoot with authority. As a consequence as soon as Richarlison is fit, he will be back on the bench.

Nonetheless, the other contendors are leaving it seems Walcott and that gives him more time

Ebere Eze is playing without confidence and he is still gassed about playing in the EPL. In addition he does not have the same freedom when he was at QPR.

Reminds me of when Raheem first started for Liverpool he was so intimidated by the presence of Suarez and Sturridge. Never going for goal always looking to pass the ball, scared of making a mistake.

In that match Eze got fouled more than any other player.

Give him a few weeks of confidence building and he will come good. He just needs one game where he is allowed to express himself freely with confidence and score.

I guess he isn't under any obligation to make decisions to protect the security agents and aides that dies whenever he refuses to heed to Intels report.
Those that died during the journey can't be brought back, and the mission wasn't even successful. Had he listened to the security reports people won't have died needlessly. Yes, a governor should be up and doing especially in a situation that bothers on humanitarian crises, but clearance from security agents is paramount, esp when it is well known that the enemy effectively make use of IEDs/Mine to lay ambush on convoys and these efforts doubled when they know a VIP/High value target is their potential prey.
My own is that Zullum should please listen to security advisories, I know military personnel won't be happy with him whenever he goes against their advise, these guys are professionals for heaven's sake. Some of us are beginning to think that the Gov. is doing this to court media attention.
Tomorrow he will go to Abuja and praise Buhari then return to blame the military and be calling the Chadians to come and fight for us.

No.no

I absolutely was talking about Markovich.

He is a player I knew very well and also was privy to what the club felt about him. I had seen him training way too many times and in U23 games.

In 2019 there was only one Marko in Liverpool and thats what every one called him.

So stop using your limited knowledge to make an assumptive deduction based on your perception not the facts.

I have looked at the original post in 2019 and although it actually says Grujic.

I just thought it was another name for Marko because that's what everyone called him. I would not comment about a player on loan in the Bundesliga that I haven't seen play and train before, or had any reports about with such ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY.

What is Lazar Markovic doing in Liverpool in 2019..
Actually Marko left Liverpool in September 2019, and my reference was to him, albeit belatedly.

This is a player l.knew very very well and my post was very specific in regards to Marko.

In your desperate Dan bid to prove me wrong you have befuddled the matter. I did not know you had this obsessive fixation with my contributions.

I absolutely knew that Marko was on his way out and surplus to requirements as far back as 2018.

Grujic the other Marko was not even in the club at the time of my comments. He was on loan at Hertha

There was no confusion on my part, l know what Marko is called in the club and what he was doing.

One thing l haven't said is the names players are called among team mates and staff. Will have variations that are different from the names you may know them as officially.

In that context in late 2019, when I made the post it was about a player in Liverpool training with the U23 's and not one who had been on loan at Hertha all season.

Finally, Liverpool isn't the only club I know about or l have insight into.
