thats one of the reservation I have about FB they see Nigeria as a rehabilitation center
I have never ending disputes with Nigerian in the UK and how the portray Nigeria negatively to others including their own Children.

What impression do the thousands of Nigerian have of Nigeria, crossing the Sahara desert to Libya, then wilfully selling themselves into Slavery to the multiliple Militant ( mafia) groups them playing " Russian roulette " with their lives to cross the Mediterranean Sea in rubber dinghies.huh

What impression do the Nigerians in Nigeria have of their country queuing up for Visas overnight to in multiple Embassies to leave Nigeria.huh

Then what impression do the multiple political office holders have of Nigeria. Looting the public purse to pay the expensive school fees of their children and buy houses and apartments in the West. huh

Then you ascribe RESERVATIONS to Nigerians not born in Nigeria.

Your question define you as confused bigot, who has no idea of patriotism and what it means.

Sadly, sadly very sadly Saka has decided to play for England.

He has huge prospects in the game at his very tender age already a proven tested and quality player.

The allure or very lucrative advertising and sports endorsements too much to refuse.

I was hopeful that he would choose Nigeria but he has not.

Washing him the very best in Arsenal colours.

there have been situations where insurgents gets information before hand of army battalions advancing to attack their positions, these informations usually comes from an insider and the faster way to do so is the use of SMS on mobile phones, most commanders don't allow their soldiers to have access to their phones for some period of time.
You are giving too much credit to Boko, your assumptive opinion in bold , l do not believe to be true

I have talked about this before.

What is the general modus operandi of the NA, "strength in numbers" They go through areas of high contention in large convoys.

Those convoys are dominated overwhelmingly with soft skinned vehicles. The offensive capacity is very limited and the defensive abysmal.

Then the convoys go on clearly identified main roads, with the case of the Governor with sirens blaring.

What does it take an illiterate Boko deranged combatant high on tramadol to deduce that the NA is coming and set up an ambush in minutes.

Then if they don't the idiots know you are going to very unwisely pass the same road, when you are coming back.

Does that require any indepth intelligence to do.

I have seen the videos of the attack / ambush on Governor Zulam. They are shocking but show real operational naivety and limited capacity.

This is serious, are you for real?
Please when next you want to watch a match remove sentiment, it will help you in judging players performance.
I would ask you to first of all remove the log of wood from your eyes before you take out the the speck of dust from mine.

You are hypocritically immersed in emotive sentiment.

I have used the word CONTEXT several times but some here find it difficult to comprehend.

We have two clubs Slavia Prague and FC Midtjylland both are in leagues rated 15 or thereabouts in Europe. On the same level as the Scottish Premier league which is held to be on par with English league one.

Having that thought in mind.

When English football league One, Ipswich beat and Bristol Rovers 2-0. A number of player ratings were over 7.5, did that automatically make those players EPL quality.

Back to the word CONTEXT, in the context of that low league match they were outstanding and at that level. But it doesn't mean they are on EPL level quality performance.

So we have two low level teams from two low-level leagues. A players may get a 7.9 rating in this match with low level peers. We must therefore keep matter in the contextual perspective of the level of the league.

In this regard, Frank Onyeka getting a 8+ rating Is not the same as Busquet or Casemiro getting a 5.5 in El Clasico. That doesn't equate him to La Liga outstanding standard and quality.

I do not look at a player in isolation but holistically and with all things in consideration. With that in mind I found nothing exceptional from Frank Onyeka but found a few sparks with Olayinka. Again it's a somewhat easier to shine as a forward player comparative to a DM.

All said and done why has Frank Onyeka remained for the past four seasons, earning a pittance at this low level league in Denmark. If he is so good according to some here. He should be on the radar of multiple clubs in Europe by now.

The form this Dominic Calvert Lewis is this season seems unparalleled and remarkable. We could easily liken him to the class of osimhen and Haaland
He scored 13 goals in the EPL last season and he has scored how many this season in the EPL? ❓ 5 goals in 3 games.

In a far more competitive league than both players. So your comparison measurement fails.

Because Calvert-Lewin is better than both of them.

There is a form of evolution that have taken place in the SE now your experience is jara talent nah koko if we're going by experience the likes of nosa igbieor will be in the team ....ama huge fan of ekong he needs to step up his game by the time we will be going to qatar it is very sure all the three German defenders will have completely switch to us we will need 4 CBs to go to the tournament ( I made these assertions based on AFCON and Russia 18) ekong needs to outclass the likes of tosin and iorfa who are plying in the same league he is playing and we don't even know what the future holds player like nnamdi( I no sabi spell the name grin) might turn out good in borrusia Dortmund give me a reason why rohr will sacrifice an hoffenhim, Augsburg, Hertha Berlin and Dortmund starter for a Watford player. wink
Very simple decision.

Ekong is proven and established, because three players who are not outstanding in the Bundesliga come to the SE does not automatically mean they are better and or can displace Ekong.

I gave the example of Mitrovic championship striker for Fulham. He was still better than the larger majority of strikers in the EPL.

Playing in a better league does not automatically equate to higher quality.

Football is a relative.

What is top quality and competitive can be two different things. Some people appreciate the competitive nature speed and physicality of the EPL.

Others prefer the technicality and skills set of La Liga. Which is besthuh

At the end of the day without £££€€€ there would be no Barcelona and Real. There would be no over riding dominance by Juventus in Seria A and Bayern in the Bundesliga.

Add to that the better players all things being equal follow the £££€€€ this is a reality.

Look at Frank Onyeka getting paid English league one wages in the poor quality Danish Super league.

If he was given a chance to come to the Championship you think he will not jump, but then that's if he is good enough.

First, I agree the NT is very different from club football. But experience matters, experience and team cohesion.

I believe, Ekong would make the team, even as a carry along. Provided he's fit.

You're talking like its all the 23 players that will play in the tournament. France and Croatia that played the most games in Russia didn't field all their 23 players.

If not because of rotation sake, and even more for the fact that we were playing a 3rd placed match, you think Rohr would have used all the 23 players he took to Egypt?

Ekong is just 27, and you're talking like he's already 35 grin He wouldn't have clocked 30 by Qatar, and would be our most experienced player in the team, excluding Musa, of course.

And you think Ekong won't make the team again.

Loooooollllll
Ekong in my opinion is best CB in SE and most consistent currently. He is not going anywhere soon.

I also point out that club form may not always translate to SE dominant quality play for a playe doing great in hus club.

With Ekong being in the Championship it makes comparison of him and say Dominic Iorfa much easier, And to see his qualities.

We must also appreciate it is a different type of football, faster and more physical than La Liga but less technical, but l believe Ekong will thrive.

You completely ignored my first paragraph, that's fine.

I did not say he "only turns up for big games" you inferred that, he's a decent player with decent numbers and wouldn't be overwhelmed by the pedigree of any opposition he faces, that's my point.

Danjuma never got Dennis' numbers in the same team, but, he earned a move to Bournemouth, what can you say about that?
If you go back l alluded to this somewhat.

You may find it hard to believe but l talk from experiential knowledge.

A club will converge statistics with thier view of the player. Their view will be formed by a number of questions, Will he fit into our style of play, does he have the physical attributes we require, What's his consistency like, How good is he, Mentality, Good value ££, Is he better than what we have, etc, etchuh ❓ Sometimes somebody likes you and or your agent is in the loop. Football politics.

Joe Linton has poor statistics but Newcastle believed he would fit into their system and style of play. I personally consider him a flop.

If you notice for several years l have not encouraged black players to go to Burnley. Thats part of my experiential knowledge.

In the year 2020 the fact that some Nigerians still don't understand that everyone's story can't be the same still baffles me. We might as well be living in caves with this mentality.

Dennis was the best player on a team that won the league. He also had special performances against PSG and Manchester United.

So because I brought only one example u think u can just brush ii off with your normal grammar grin

Samatta the Tanzanian spent 5 years at Genk before going to Aston Villa undecided

U are a Nigerian so u know of one Simon Moses and how Gent refused to sell until they lost everything at the end.

Let's stay in England, how old was Jamie Vardy when Leicester got him from NON LEAGUE football? 25.

This same Osimhen u are bringing up ehn, were you not the person who said his transfer was falling apart because of what the press said he did? So u do know the fragile nature of the transfer market but u are being senile to that fact in a bid to gain an advantage in a common discussion of limited gravitas. Ehn me too I sabi grammar grin
Regarding the bold NOT TRUE.

What has the story of Vardy got to do with Dennis, no relevance at all.

Dennis was the best player according to whohuh Ndidi was clearly outstanding and see where he is today.

The Belguim league is a selling league predominantly. Dennis had been at Brugge for three seasons, whyhuhhuh . He is too good they are paying him too much or is he overvalued or maybe work permit issues.

I really can't say.

Let me take the arguments you made some minutes ago, let me change it to Adarabiayo
Interesting elementary proposition you make it's anchored on " lack of knowledge " and birthed from pre conceived notions of assumed superiority.

The proposition is childish but let's be childish today and l will indulge you.

Before we proceed let's get a baseline agreement on some things.

In general the vast majority of football players are motivated by £££€€€€ above and beyond most other considerations.

Apologies, l speculated that Frank Onyeka was on at least €180k euro I was wrong, he is on €150k that's not per week but annual.

At the age of 19 Tosin was on £25k a week at Manchester City, which is a world class club with many world class players.

What is he getting now probably more like £50k a week. He quite recently refused to renew his contract which expires next Summer. ( very wise)

Why has he stayed at Manchester City ❓ First of all not many clubs can afford him. Secondly, playing reserve team and or going on loan is quite normal in a world class team. Because there are better more experienced and expensive defenders ahead of him.

you probably know that a plethora of EPL clubs came looking for Tosin but City refused to sell him.

Finally, you really cannot compare a Manchester City player with Frank Onyeka playing in the backwaters of European football leagues to a EPL player.

Finally, finally forgot to add, if the Championship is a low quality league, what then is the Danish Super league a super low poor quality league.

I didn't dispute his quality. But it's a known fact here that we encourage our players to be plying their trade in first divisions. I know you'd preach championship is better than bla bla,

But which of of players is playing in a second division and was called up.

Don't mention Shehu please. That guy is a quota player.

We can not have a "law"(more like style, tbh), then change it when it has to do with English boys.

Are we short on options in defense?
We already have like 6 CBs already, 2 more German boys in bundesliga are coming, but you want us to consider a player playing in the championship.

He's so good enough he's playing in the championship angry
Even first tier leagues have grade.

Which would you rather have an outstanding CB in the Championship or one that's just making up the numbers in La Liga.

Or which do you think is better an outstanding CB in the Championship or one in backwater first tier league that is also outstanding.

I always look at what you do in your league. For example Mitrovic was the outstanding strikers in the Championship but he was better than many strikers in EPL, same follows for Banford and Watkins who played for Leeds and Brentford.

So do you think that because Keane ( Everton), Benteke ( Crystal Palace), Linton ( Newcastle) Lys Mousset ( Sheffield United) , Neal Maupet( Brighton) KC ( Leicester) , Wood( Burnley) all play as strikers in the EPL.

Absolutely none of them are better than MITROVIC in any way shape or form, but they were all Premier league strikers when Mitrovic was in Fulham in the Championship.

Watford have been relegated according to you therefore Ismaila Starr is no longer a quality winger.

Bournemouth got relegated where did thier best defender go,Nathan Ake, to Manchester city.

It's very simplistic better players go to better clubs.

A club will consider multiple players and choose that one that best suits thier playing style, has most potential, best transfer cost, is he better than what we have, etc.

Dennis scored a brace very correct, but he did not make a consistent impression in his league.
It's possible that clubs looked at him as a a flash in the pan.

Danish league is a low quality league.

However, you say Onyeka was outstanding, then why has he remained at FC Midtjylland he has been there for four seasons.

When you are outstanding in your club and league, clubs take notice and you move on.

Frank Onyeka will be getting paid peanuts in comparison to better leagues and clubs. From what's been published he earns a paltry €180k a year.

I know players in English league two that earn €300k a year.

I don't believe he has some emotive sentiment based loyalty to the club, he is a Nigerian he will not be that foolish.

WHY has nobody put in a substantive offer to take him to at least a top 10 league.

Even when this brutalization is reported to academy authorities, nothing is ever done.

You should also talk about walfare for soliders in the US, proper feeding and how their health is well taken care of. Why don't we copy that? The British military that we copied, does not allow their cadets to do what would lead to their death, their documentaries on how they train their cadets used to be aired on Discovery, bullying would result in expulsion. That someone dies during training is unheard of. Nobody signs his life out in training in foreign countries. It never happens in those countries you mentioned. Courage is not achieved by hardship, it is achieved by proper training on how to handle situations. Physical training is just to strengthen the body. It does not make one more battle wise and sound, you teach cadets proper leadership not harden them. That's why our soldiers are usually wicked yet very undisciplined. The other day, cadets were dancing on the road, blocking traffic. Many cadets I've met are very unruly, and heartless. Those are the kind of people we produce. If it were only SFs I would have not had so much problem, what does sitting on the head for hours achieve in the life of a cadet?

Then to add petrol to fire, he then points soiled fingers and accuses some people of having a double standard and being hypocritical.

Already we are creating a unit if measurement that pertains to one player alone "Victor Osimhen" it's bigoted and biased.

We have a new measurement of outstanding performance, The teams most expensive striker doesn't score in the routing of a team 6-0 and we say he was focal point of all that success.

It's comedic delusional misguided aberration.

On this forum when KC moved to Leicester city he was hyped, better than Mbappe, Gabriel, Aguero, etc.

He scored one goal and it was stated KC is back, he is IN-FORM. Even today after having a mediocre season some are calling it progressive very good season.

There is a long way to go for Victor Osimhen and he has a lot prove. We can hype him as much as we like if he doesn't score goals commensurate with his astounding transfer fee.

All that Italian media people claim are hailing him as the best new transfer. Will do a complete U turn and slaughter him with condemnation.
