since when has Chelsea fans opinion ever mattered in Chelsea's transfer policy? More importantly during the new owners time?
Fans are mostly irrelevant 😑.

However,it's been a subject of interest here albeit completely irrelevant in any decision making. The reason I alluded to it.

one question,
do u think he is good enough to play for Chelsea and any of the top 3 in EPL or not?
let us know what u think.
The question good enough is not the issue.

The question is ,is his very direct style of play as a quintessential number 9 suited to Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester city.

In my opinion No and you will want to compare him to Haaland they are similar but Haaland is way better ( a generational enigma)

However, Chelsea a big yes ,they don't really have a preferred style they are in transition several managers in a very short space of time. But it's double edged sword ⚔️ it could go bad or good for VO.

Chelsea need to offload several disgruntled and in some regards poorly performing over and highly paid players. Two players in a swap deal would be excellent for Napoli, Mudryk and Lukaku and any other lightweights would be perfect.

I think Chelsea may decide to play a pyramid style to accommodate VO and make him the focal point of their game plan. This would suit VO perfectly.

Will Chelsea win the league on account of that very unlikely.

forgiveness:

Chelsea are not convinced but went ahead and offered Napoli £, Lukaku and a young player, huh?
angry

Oga, what Chelsea's fans are against is the ridiculous offer. They don't know if the young player is good and they think they can sell Lukaku for almost half of that offer.

Besides, two African players could be another problem if they go for AFCON.
Any evidence to that in the bold

The question ❓ is should be why

Smart decision
Unfortunately the players don't decide it's the club.

It's apparent that Chelsea are not completely convinced about VO and it seems the fans are not that keen either.

Arsenal is doubtful and Liverpool is just rumours so far. VO is a quintessential number 9 that thrives in a pyramid system, that is not how these teams play.

And his price £100+tag makes it very hard for clubs to gamble.and or take a chance on him. It's a kind of all or nothing.

Napoli will like the £100 million plus but know that without VO next season, they will struggle even more than they did this season..

So Napoli will not sell him for any thing less than es £100 million , they may do a player swap . But let's see the coming month's will be interesting 🧐

Don't u think that if JJ was playing today as old as he is he will still get the assists? Even your last paragraph betrays your line of thought. No dey compare sleep and death dude. Sofri sofri
Seeing as you can read my mind and are a mind reader. Please tell me what is my line of thoughts 💭💭.

You clearly did not not notice, I did not mention ASSISTS I talked about GOALS.

Did you know that at one stage JJAY had the most shots in a game in the league. The highest number of goals he scored in a season was 7 goals.

My view is that considering his incredible talent he should have scored more .By comparison in 2013/14 Yaya scored 20 goals for Manchester city in the EPL.

Absolutely correct
Plenty dribbles, few assists and goals
Let's compare him to his could have been, but can NO longer be successor Eberechi Eze.

JJay 124 games over 4 seasons for Bolton in the EPL he played 124 game scored 14 goals

Eze 110 games over 4 seasons for CP & counting in EPL
Played 110 games scores 23 goals

I am not saying Eze is on JJay level but the comparison highlights the issue. I would have expected JJay to have double that goal 🥅 tally at least.

Boss, I strongly disagree with you on this.

Below is his highlights in that match and his performance was a good example of what a typical 10 was in those days.

It was in this match he created the record of the most dribbles completed in a World Cup match.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jGC9lQPHsA
You said a typical 10.

That' means he should have high number of assists garnished with a few goals.

JJ played too much for the gallery, show boating and absolutely skintilating off the scale skills and tricks. I watched him mesmerized.

However, looking at his performance, devoid of emotions, he was sometimes found wanting over dribbling and hugging the ball ⚽. I suspect his stats at both national and club level are not great.

Had the most dribbles but how many assists and goals did he make and or score ❓His DNA 🧬 is the same at club level it seems.

UPDATE:

According to my source; The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Finidi George have concluded discussions on contract terms and his assistants.

Finidi was asked to set up his technical staff and assistants but the NFF will add Daniel Amokachi to the coaching crew and a goalkeeper trainer.

My source confirmed the NFF reached out to Vincent Enyeama to take up the role of the Goalkeeper trainer but it seems Enyeama is not interested in the role and offer. He hasn't responded.

Finidi is bringing three other assistants aside from Amokachi and the goalkeeper trainer from the NFF.

- Adepoju Tobi Samuel [OganlaMedia]
Amokachi is stale fish 🐟 and has nothing to offer beyond sabotage and corruption.

I would disagree

I've known Rhian Brewster since he was 14 and I thought he was good but not world class incredible. And he won the golden boot at U17 level for England.

He is now languishing in Sheffield United trying to find relevance in a system that does not suit his skill set.

Although he is laughing all the way to the bank decent wages after a £21 million transfer from Liverpool.

I doubt if anyone on this thread, have gotten those retorts the number of times they were said to me.

I kept saying Ndidi has it in him
, I kept giving the reasons that he has been told severally to keep it simple, i also pointed out the possibilities of improving, because i take time to study a player before arriving at conclusions.

I like telling my observations no matter how they might sound.
Can you be specific and not emotively fluid, what exactly does Ndidi have please anchor ⚓ your observation on outcome delivery statistics and comparison.

For instance if I say that a player is exceptional, his stats should be among the top 🔝 10 at the very least in the league.

Please the point is not discovering stars but the congregation of stars. It is a tournament that attracts stars. Maybe unknown at that time but their talents are undeniable.

Finito.
Calling them stars is premature.

Some of them are already showing exceptional ability and could be future stars then some have already arrived and are stars already players like Jude Bellingham for instance.

The terminology stars is very ambiguous what you call a star ⭐ Brazil is very different from what you call a star in Nigeria. The standard are not the same.

For instance 17 year old Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa has already played three seasons in the top flight of Brazil premier 1st tier league. He scored against England it is uncontestable to call him a star.

You are too quick to players stars in my opinion. Then it becomes a matter of context, there are star footballers on my old street in Warri. But that is strictly local street stars. They are not stars in the context of world 🌎 top level youth players. They are what you may call local champions 🏆

You then created a parameters to qualify players as stars ⭐ ⭐ and that being once you have played for your national team. Not all national teams have the same quality, you will not find any low level quality players playing for the top 10 seeded team in the world.

You then put Omeruo who at the very best is bang very average defender, in the same list with Casemiro, Neymar, Allison, etc that's Ludicrous and comedic 😅.

I don't look at Nigerian 🇳🇬 players in isolation but in comparison to the top players before calling them exceptional. You look at them mostly in isolation that's being biased unrealistic.

For instance people have called Tijani one of the best young midfielders in Europe at 22. Dude is playing in the Austrian league that's delusional.

It's the same narrative many of you have about Nwakali, Dude has done absolutely nothing beyond youth football ⚽ 8 years ago. You look at him in isolation and give unmerited accolades. His team has been in relegation since day one literally. You exaggerate his very very limited attributes to the point of absurdity.

There are hundreds of Nigerian born players across Europe what's the obsession with mediocrity.
