At least out of every 20 sold 5 will make it at least.
Making it is a very very relative term and if you do it by comparison then it becomes more problematic.

Let's say you are playing in Azerbaijan and you make €1500 a week of you compare that to our current fire circumstances which are the worst since Nigeria existed.

That will feel like leaving hell fire 🔥 to heaven 🕊️

But would you say he had made it in football ⚽

You can also learn in the national team. Especially at age grade levels. If the NFF have that in mind, they will tailor a long term screening and educational process to develop a top quality U17 side.
It's a question ❓ of perspective. You can learn from a 2 minute conversation.

But in reality your learning and development takes place in your academy, club and league not in a two week camp 😭.

Sorry 😔 I don't agree with you at all.

They use to have regional u13 were regions will play till the have the finalist

So from every stage skilful players were picked till the finals

At such we have a pool to blend so before the get to U17 we have more than enough to pick from
But bros that system will not allow the NFF to collect development fee and appreciation bonus and will limit the godfather syndrome rife in the NFF.

Sorry such good intentions open and clear assessment will not WORK.

We won't develop our u17 and u21 but when we see u17 and u21 that other countries developed, we start dreaming of luring them over.
The word you should use is synergy.

I am in the system, a lot of Nigerian origin players would choose Nigeria first choice. But we do not create relationships.

I watched Poland invite several boys of 14 from England EPL academies to the U15 national team. They have already started creating relationships.

All expenses paid hotels even one parent to follow each boy.

Racism is alive and well in England and a very good number would choose Nigeria first. Im addition England cannot call all the Nigerian players into the national team. They are not France too many black 🖤 players and there will be a national outcry of discrimination.

There is a EPL Club that sent it's U11 players to the East Mallorca cup all the players were black apart from the goalkeeper. People talk tire.

When Eberechi trained with the national team he had already played first team football for QPR. The could easily have played him in a number of friendlies available but no they did not. They forgot him for 2 years+ plus. When he blow they remembered him.

NFF responsible for U17 failures

How can you appoint a coach less than a month to a major competition

How can you start screening 50 players less than 3 weeks

How can you get them gell as a team

Preparation should have started over one year ago

Now they will blame Manu Garba for the failure when they never started early

We need to go back to national u13, U15 and U17 regional and national competition

That was what produce the like of Kelechi iheanacho ECT we still have his U13 pictures
Players are picked from a team and you bring what you have to the national team. The national team is not where you learn.

We take 23 players to a tournament what percentage eventually makes it? About 15%. Many do not adapt, lack resilience and are frustrated due to lack of playing time and dreams they were sold to make it big time. The same percentage that will make it from the academies. Going to an U17 world cup does not guarantee future “high quality” players. People should not make it sound as if when we miss out of an U17 tournament our future is dead. That is a wrong assumption.
Agreed 👍🏿💯

Where are the outstanding players in that tournament of 2009. LIke teenagers Stanley Okoro, Fortune Chukwudi, Terry Envoy, etc

Development really begins in your league and club but actually first in your HEAD 🗣️.Is your head small enough to take correction or you think you have arrived and head 🗣️ too big to learn and take correction.

If you bring Tosin to Manchester City today, he would be on the bench. That is why he left Manchester City in the first place.
I really don't know.

I've known him since he was 15 and he used to be a tall gangly not physical but fast CB. He wasn't good enough then and was never getting into the team.

But when he went on loan things changed he had got his Man ♂️ body now and the day I bowed for him.

Was when Blackburn played Sheffield Wednesday and he physically bullied Dominic Iorfa and scored a bullet 🚅 header. I said small boy don turn man.

If he goes back 🔙 his game will evolve and maybe improve, he is more athletic than all Thier defenders maybe not so much Ajanji. But I think he would displace Stones over time. But it's all speculation.

For now he is wanted by several top teams don't be surprised if he ends up in Liverpool. Gomez and Konate are injury prone and Van Dyke is getting older.

Which clubs are they selling them too and what leagues and what development framework has been set up and contractually agreed upon.

Or are the then sold and left to their own fate. Once the local academy has got the 🤑 money.

I know a few and I've been personally to a few and it's all about the money. Some will get by even have a career but not all.

I've been to Antwerp and I met so many footballers with dreams never realised 😨 or achieved, washing cars and some resorted to drugs.

Awaziem is a fine player.
Can you explain 😮 why he has always played for low level teams even descending to the Croatian league, from the retirement league of Turkey.

How about Tosin and Olise that the eagles need,
don't u think they should also indicate interest about playing for us,especially Tosin that is currently not playing for any of the English under age teams?

Don't tell me it's NFF's fault, because there is no way they must not have been approached to play for us at least once.
If they eventually fail to play for us,whose fault is it this time around, we or them?
Dude 😎 I don't know many professional football players you know in Europe. But it's not the way things ar done.

The nation will select you not 🚫 you to the nation.

Our NFF like all institutions in Nigeria is intrinsically and overwhelmingly corrupt. You are making assumptions you really don't know anything about.

It's not everything that happens that football players and or their associates will talk about in the public domain.

What do you think as a Nigerian is the core focus of officials in the NFF. Do you think it's national interest ❓Be honest with yourself please 🥺

What are all our institutions concerned about it's all about pecuniary💷💶💵💸🪙🤑.

Having that in mind you can make assumptions knowing how we are. I've know 2/3 National team coaches and I know when they visit players in England they expect loyalty appreciation but not just with words.

You can make clear examples about NFF coaches and officials demanding with full chest development fees. From clubs.

Do you think 💭 it's normal in the Naija context for appreciation loyalty to be given and expected by NFF officials. If you are selected into the national team.

As you know playing for the national team is a big boost and pathway to getting to Europe 🌍. For players in Nigeria,I have heard of players signing off their bonuses to official.

However, for Nigerian origin players already making waves in Europe it adds little or no value to them. They will not expect to pay for the privilege to play for Nigeria with pecuniary appreciation.

Now you can make your own assumptions as a Nigerian.

I asked you this because of Doherty because he said the the only player there who later made a name was Michael Obafemi and that was for the 2015 U17 set. Ademola Lookman was never a member of that team, neither were you one of the organizers . Ejaria only partook in 2013 U17 screening and was supposed to go with Iheanacho and co to the U17 AfCoN and World Cup but he was excused during the AfCoN preparatory matches/ campings in Nigeria because they were affecting/clashing his studies at his club side.

There is no record of Lookman ever being a part of the Nigerian youth system both home and in the UK. Lookman's first involvement with Nigerian football was his debut for the Super Eagles.

So, you lied again.
You LIED again at NO TIME have I ever said I was part of some NFF instigated U17 screening exercise in London. You Lied

At NO TIME did I say Oviemuno and Ademola were part of a U17 Nigeria national team, you LIED.

There was a spurious chaotically organised screening exercise for Nigerian origin players in Europe, with some NFF instigation. I was very much aware of it even then l had doubts of the integrity of the process.

Your create LIES and then ascribe them to a person unknown to you. You are bitter acidic twisted and unrepentant bare faced LIAR.

How would you compare Wayne Rooney of England, a country with verifiable records of births and deaths going back to at least 500 years back. Let Rooney look as old as Soyinka, his age is confirmed by the system, not how he looks. The reason is simple: the system is trustworthy and has been so for ages and not just for football but for all purposes.

Come down here. What's the system? Where are the verifiable records?
I don't understand how we know, we all know the kind of country we live in oo but when it comes to this age issue, we pretend that we are angels.

If not for technology, didn't we know how it used to be? Some years in the past, we got it right. Some years we didn't. Although it's gotten better since 2010.

So please we can look at a person's face in Nigeria and we can tell his age. Might not be a foolproof method but if we see the face of 17 or 20 years Olds in Nigeria, we know abeg.
Without deviating into politics.

We have very senior advanced political office holders where they don't know the primary and secondary school they attended and by default their date of birth.

Age cheating and creation is a national culture.

The plan is to market this players including sadiq to obscure leagues abroad and thereafter continue with another round of invitations like the likes of Stephen eze etc

This local coaches are good in this, it is a survival stinct

If not for the likes of rohr we won't have had so many of this foreign born players like Ademola,Aina etc playing for us today

Pasiero barely didn t discover any foreign born player for us except for Bright Osayi

I am watching what Finidi will do in that regard

Today we are hailing Ademola Lookman as our own but thanks to Rohr that convinced this boy to play for us years ago and I really wish we can get more of them into our fold

From CHAN competition we equally get some home based players too that can blend with the foreign born to make a formidable team
The bold is a figment of your imagination, everything is untrue.

Ademola made it clear at age 16 he wanted to play for Nigeria but was rejected in the screening organised in London for the NFF.

He played his last game for England U21 in 2019 and made it intrinsically clear he wanted to play for Nigeria. But it took the NFF several years to complete the due diligence required to complete change of allegiance with FIFA.

Finidi's invitation of Awaziem seems like he prioritises ball possession.

Awaziem is one of our bests when it comes to making good passes of the ball.

Awaziem is very good when it comes to making clearances of the ball, insomuch that his ball clearances in many instances of it look like a long pass to a team mate because he is good with long passes.
