This is my opinion as regards this subject. First education or being educated is about learning whether formal or informal. The mind of the learner is being open to new ideas, concepts etc. Whatever he or she does with these ideas, concepts etc depends on the individual.
Though, the present Nigerian situation places emphasis on paper qualification, I see it as a tool for sieving candidates in other to reduce pressure. This is a tool employed by management consultants over the years.
Finally, education only polishes what you have in you.

This custom boss knows his worth. Do not allow yourself to be brought low by politicians who have no knowledge about how things work. Continue the good works.

As important as the topic is, I will once again say it is timely. I was told at the beginning of my post graduate studies by one of the lecturers that academics and making money are on parallel lines and they never meet. I thought about this and gave my all in the pursuit of what I came for. We practically begged to be lectured, examined and supervised. Lecturers seem to have other sources of income that is dear to them. This they attend to at the expense of the students. Is this supposed to be so? Was this how they were treated during their own time of study? How long must this go on? Going back to study is a means of keeping youths out of societal decadence. I made my choice. Did I do wrong to go back to study?

The writer has done so well in bringing up this issue as regards post graduate programme in Nigerian universities.
The case is so pathetic here in the south east. Post graduate students are treated as non entity. Lecturers behave like they don't have children and as such frustrate students out of their programmes.
Imagine a lecturer telling a student to resign from his place of work in order to be the students supervisor. The only means for paying for all fees and dues comes from this job. Is it fair?

My candid opinion is to get a reasonable Qs to do a traditional bill for u if u have the building plan already. This will help in quantifying all materials required for the project.

THE STATE OF ORIGIN SHOULD BE REMOVED. THIS IS WAT HAS BROUGHT DIVISION AMONGST THE MANY TRIBES IN NIGERIA. IT HAS MADE BRILLIANT IDEAS AND IDEALS TO DIE. I SUPPORT ITS REMOVAL.

I have heard so much about polytechnic graduates being better than university graduates. I have had my fair share of experience with both set of graduates but really couldn't place a difference between both. I just think individuals get complexes about this topic.
