happney65:Especially that "Cybertruck" guy. Arguing blindly. Most of them shouting that "referred back to high court" mantra did not understand the real and intended meaning of the supreme court unanimous decision. It was all based on tribal and ethnic sentiments. They don't have the interest of the nation at heart. The case is going back to the FHC to be thrown out formally. |
DeLaRue:The guy is terribly overstating INEC's power. People are reacting on sentiments and emotion alone. Mostly tribal and ethnic. There must be a viable opposition for the election to be accepted. Even Tinubu knows that. Any perception of cutting out viable opposition will set the nation ablaze. The president is aware. |
Orinechi:The supreme court did declare Mark the authentic chairman. If you can learn to read between the lines and decipher coded language. The supreme court nullified a decision from the court of appeal which is a higher appellate court to the high courts. The FHC cannot come to any other decision when and if it hears the case again. Only people who support evil are opposing the supreme court judgement. |
Cyberterror:Just imagine the question you're asking me?! Compulsion does not have to come from the courts. The constitution and the electoral acts compels INEC to do the right thing. Have you forgotten that INEC is just a referee. An impartial referee at that, regardless of who appoints the chairman. This is my last response to your questions. Note: Referring the case back to the FHC is just a formality from the supreme court. The judge of the FHC will throw out the case formally. That's what the supreme court asked him to do. It was out of respect for the FHC. |
Cyberterror:Ever heard of democracy?. It's a game of numbers. There's no association of persons where agreement is 100%. Election will be held and INEC is compelled to accept the executive that was elected. APC, Tinubu and co still have one trump card they could use. But i will not reveal it here. All the SAN's on both sides are capable. However, besides party politics, BAT is in charge of the security and unity of Nigeria as a nation. He must hold that high in any thing he and APC want to do. |
Cyberterror:That's why you have party congresses. Both camps will have to secure enough members to their side to be elected as party executives. The party constitution will guide how the dispute will be resolved. Same as in your village community association. Every party has an internal dispute resolution mechanism. That will be applied. |
More than 3 years after the election. You need to tell the court why the panic now. Can someone tell us when ADC was set up? Self-centered jokers. |
solreb:The matter is NOT justiciable. It's not a matter for the courts. No court will handle it again. That is what the supreme court judgement implies in my own view. |
Cyberterror:Nafiu Gombe Bala, Dumbebi Kachikwu and the rest of the former executive members of ADC were present when the David Mark led executive were elected. They participated. Even collected monetary settlements. They were satisfied until APC, Wike and Tinubu came with bullion vans. They were obviously recruited by APC, paid handsomely to do a hatchet job. |
Cyberterror:Where did you learn your law? Do you have details of the judgement? INEC has zero rights in deciding who is or will be the chairman of a political party. If the supreme cannot make that decision, how on earth do you think INEC can. It's strictly an internal affair of any association of people. |
That is and was the right decision. Nothing to applaud here. Freedom of association and movement is a fundamental human right enshrined in the constitution. ADC should now go to work in full force. We want a free and fair election. If Tinubu wins again, no problem. We shall all accept it as long as ADC and PDP are allowed to participate fully. A UNITED NIGERIA IS WHAT WE WISH FOR. |
Tinubu and bootlickers like Wike no dey fear ooo. Their courage is like that of a drunken mad man. The thought of removing ADC is a crazy thought. The meeting at Ibadan to form a united opposition, most likely under the ADC, was chaired by OBJ. David Mark, too is a well respected retired army general. Not to mention the caliber of men who attended that meeting. INEC and the judges must be careful not to thrown the country into a bottomless abyss. Me sef dey fear... |
...and they had to choose red-coloured underwear. Some perverts will even jerk-off to those images. Funny pictures. |
franchasng:Regardless of the obvious partisanship of the leadership of the supreme court, they are old and mature enough to make the right decision. They must stay away from internal affairs of political parties. Faction or no faction is the business of political parties to resolve all over the world. Nigeria should not be made a laughing stock. Pressure or no pressure, only one outcome is justified. |
They plan to field separate presidential candidates like MC OLUOMO for Accord party. Shameless, hungry and selfish jokers. |
Hector09:Look for them under IGBO. Nothing surprising in the statistics. Especially the percentage of educated women. The difference amongst Igbo and Yoruba women is clearly visible in Lagos. |
Any decent, credible and self respecting nation MUST have a credible opposition party. For UK it's Labour and conservatives. For USA it's Democrats and Republicans. For Nigeria it's ADC -David Mark- and APC. The supreme court must be mindful of this. Any politically tainted decision will not augur well for the nation. They have the duty to put the unity and security of Nigeria first. People are already saying that Wike settled the judges. That perception is dangerous and they should dispel it. |
Kaido:Nothing archaic or absurd about that. Rich White and black men in Europe and USA do the same. The key word is RICH. Do you think a woman married to a billionaire white husband contributes any thing tangible to the housekeep? All they do is to occasionally buy some healthy groceries with their money to make the husband a nice, healthy dinner. The man pays for every other thing, just like Igbo men do. |
Cyberterror:You be small pikin. This your comment confirms it. Campaign on Tinubu's qualities and achievements and NOT on what the opposition does or does not do. |
RollinTNDA:If they make the same mistake again in splitting the votes, Tinubu wins again. No doubt. Obi will NOT be vice to anybody. If you decide to form an alliance, the ultimate aim is to win the presidency. Pride and ego should be put aside. |
In Nigeria, these security agencies always assume that suspect is faking illness. This has to stop. In saner climes, suspects and everybody are usually given benefit of the doubt. Just take them for check up first. The trial can continue later. NDLEA will have to pay huge damages now. |
[quote author=WorkTheTalk post=139139655]No light. We were lied to in 2023. And we are about to listen to another lies that will keep us in darkness for another four years. ADC has to do in the form of campaign is to bombard Nigerians with this video from January 2027. Non stop streaming on all public channels and electronic bill boards on the high way. Nigerians are wise now. Excerpt for those who vote on ethnic sentiments. |
obiekunie01:[/s] The Op and you have ulterior motives in posting this. The Op( Chino) deliberately chose the picture for obvious reasons bothering on insecurity. Go and watch the video posted on page 2 for a better view of the Eke Obinagu junction. Stop all these petty, childish nonsense. Enugu is most beautiful state in SE. |
Peter Obi is well known in the North. When Obi combines with Kwankwaso for the presidency, he even becomes more known in the remote parts of the North. Obi/Kwankwaso is a super combination. Besides, Atiku will be 81 years in 2027. He should play the kingmaker, elder and fatherly role. |
"The court held that the abuse occurred in a hotel on several occasions, noting that the victim and her family relied on the cleric for spiritual guidance." So she went with the pastor to a hotel on several occasions for 'spiritual guidance'. And the judge believed it was not consensual. This particular judge is pushing the new LASG law to the limit. Just dishing out Life sentences as if it's a couple of weeks. That's very backward. Not condoning proven rape, but this lady, who is not underage, knew what she was going to the hotel for. The pastor just did not settle her well. No man deserves a life sentence for what looks like consensual sex. |
What kind of question is that?!. If Obi wins, everybody steps aside. Keyword here is WIN. This implies that it was contested. The question should be: Will Atiku step aside NOW and endorse Peter Obi/Kwankwaso ticket. A consensus is what we're talking about. |
muykem:You have a point here. And Atiku will enable them. These 2 are to Atiku what Wike is to Tinubu. Peter Obi does not engage in dirty politics. He will still not give 'Shishi'. |
Just watched the video. There's absolutely nothing wrong with what Atiku said. Even the way he said it was respectful. These APC Urchins were just looking for where to dump their frustrations. |
If Delta North people get sense, they should allow and support Ned to continue. Okowa ought to be behind bars. N1.3 trillion is a lot of money. |
They are only making ADC more popular. If the voters see it as persecution, it's bye bye to APC. It makes no sense at all. Allow ADC all freedom to play their politics and contest on equal, level ground. |
kimjessey2019:No be small thing oo. I think say na only me. I get one for UK, a boy. And most likely a girl in Holland. I have linked up with the boy, though. But I requested a DNA test. His mama no British Oyibo. |
This is a good opportunity for ADC. No be who first go court dey get judgement. As long as the judge is not compromised, ADC will use the opportunity to resolve the matter once and for all. |
