Lonestar124:Whether they attend or not is of no consequence to the dead man. That is a problem for the living. Personally, as long as the boy no longer bears my surname, i would not bother with him. Not after 18 years. The father should get on with his life. Attempting to establish contact will kill him faster. Knowing that the children and their mother are doing well should be enough for him. He laid the foundation. |
back2sender:I wonder ooo?. I see it as a sign of failure. My mum spent one full year in the US for Omugwo. When she finally(They wanted her to stay permanently) returned back to Nigeria, she vowed never to enter the plane to USA again. And she never did. She's approaching 80 years now. I can't understand why anyone who is 70 years and above should still be travelling inter continental. I don't see myself going beyond Nigeria or maybe Ghana after age 70. This woman simply died. Nothing to do with Ethiopian Airlines. |
He is very 100% right. By 2027, they will both be approaching 80 years. Tinubu is also not very healthy. He has achieved his ambition. He should now quit with dignity. |
You referred to Arthur Eze as a "Multi Millionaire" Do your due diligence before posting nonsense. Or was intended as an insult for being an Igbo man? Arthur Eze is a Billionaire in Dollars. A man who has been pumping oil for years in Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Venezuela. His net worth is private. That's why you will never see his name on that Forbes list. He don't need that. |
"PROPOFOL" hmmm.. Is that the same stuff that killed Michael Jackson?. The case need to be looked into. |
anonimi:The report is very correct. I even expect the suicide rate in USA to be much more with all those guns available to nutcases. Are you aware that Japan, with all their advancement is the number 1 suicide country in the world. A Japanese can kill him or herself if caught out on a lie. Those of us who have been around know that Nigeria is blessed as a nation. Our greedy and selfish leaders are the problem. |
The Nigerian rate will be 0.01% if we had any form of safety net for unemployment like they do in the US and UK. If unemployed Nigerians will collect, say, N20,000 every month and food stamps, there will be zero suicides. Many poor Nigerians will stay alive just to collect that N20,000. Almost all depressions in Nigeria and crimes stem from hunger. Our leaders are very GREEDY. Spread this wealth. |
Nigerians respond too much to "bling bling", fancy buildings and people. Some of these health issues can be properly handled at Community health centers and district general hospitals. But, they will choose Euracare and all those Turkish and Indian hospitals who are just out to fleece Nigerians. However, medical misers happen all over the Western world. Sometimes, even deliberately. I don't really trust "White" doctors and nurses. Some of them kill their own people on purpose. You can imagine what they will do to an African. |
zealousayo:You be real " Bushman". Americans that brag if they cross border to go on a vacation to Mexico or Cuba. Not to mention someone who travelled all the way to North Africa. It's a big deal in the West to travel or visit other continents. |
So that picture posted is to show her signing their cheques .Anyway, CBN should make the transfer today. Not tomorrow. Doris is a fine Igbo woman....as usual. |
It's a battle between the 2 power blocks of African football. WEST AFRICA vs NORTH AFRICA. Authentic black Africa vs Arab Africa. No idea where the cup will go to. It will be interesting from now on. I just hope the right referees are chosen. How i wish they can bring Referees from Europe or South America. But CAF would feel insulted. I don't trust these North Africans with their on the pitch acting and tricks. 'Maka' cheap penalties. |
Does this not mean that the CTCs will now be gazetted afresh since the "Gazetted" one in circulation is a forgery. Am i missing something here. Messers Falana and co should come and explain ooo. |
"Tinubu Doesn’t Need Nigerians' Votes to Win — He Needs INEC and Judges," ....with Nyesom Wike as Consiglieri. Bunch of frausters. Nigerians will be ready for them come 2027. |
I have lived in a country where I paid humongous taxes for over 20 years. But I receive a generous reward in form of excellent infrastructures for the taxes i pay. So paying taxes is not the problem. It has never been the problem. Taxes have been paid since beginning of mankind. But, in a country where a public servant uses tax payers money to acquire over N200 billion worth of properties, asking citizens to keep paying is wicked. In China, 80% of Nigeria's public servants will be convicted to die by hanging as of 2025. The NLC has the right and duty to protect ordinary workers and citizens. |
Putindbutt:Desist from making d.umb and inciteful statements like this. This nation of 250 million diverse peoples is far bigger than your little ethnic region. I refer you to what happened in Kenya not too long ago over the same Tax matter. And Kenya no even get 'Boko Boys'. You should know that there are people up North waiting the exploit the situation. They are just waiting for sh..it to start. DO NOT PLAY INTO THEIR HANDS. Stop posting childish comments. |
Picture does not look real. Did you say 1930?. |
Where will the money come from? He should also work on rural roads. Not only Enugu urban. We cannot go to our villages during rainy season. |
9jatriot:We need the names of the committee members, not the institutions they represent. For now, only Taiwo Oyedele we know. Even the Agbaje, a 400 level student from UI is from the same zone. Why not a student from ABU Zaria, or university of Maiduguri ?. In most parliamentary democracies in Western Europe, an infringement like this will bring down the government. Coalition parties will just withdraw from the government. Nigeria is now a One-Party democracy. Sad. |
Watch how Congo will smuggle Dual citizenship into their constitution. It's a tricky case for the NFF to win. Any country that does not allow Dual citizenship anno 2025 is living in dark ages. With globalisation, it should be mandatory. For some countries like Morocco and Turkey, you can never lose your Moroccan nationality irrespective of where you were born and how many foreign passports you hold. |
In all these, Dangote Refineries MUST not be allowed to become a monopoly. Competition is good. That's the sure way for the citizens to benefit from lower petrol and diesel prices. I don't give a hoot about the man that resigned or who Tinubu appoints. Tinubu must not play Dangote scripts. We have not recovered from the price of Cement. |
mikeapollo:Do not be too quick with that "Cleared by FIFA" argument. A precedent was set this week with Malaysia. Malaysia fielded a whooping 6 to 7 players who were clearly not Malaysian. Some looked clearly European. Malaysia presented forged documents to FIFA about the place of birth of their parents, claiming that their fathers and grandfathers were born on a Malaysian island. After they beat Vietnam 3-0 to qualify for the Asia cup, Vietnam lodged a complaint. FIFA investigated and found out that the players used forged birth documents. Some of them had grandfathers born in Europe. Malaysia has now been severely sanctioned. All last 3 matches they won with those players have been converted to a loss. AFC is also set to award the qualification for the Asia cup to Vietnam straight. So, Nigeria and the NFA have a chance in their protest. But it must be presented with proof and evidence. I'm sure they have lawyers handling that. It's fraud to win a match with ineligible players. |
EmperorIsaac:We, that are widely travelled endorse this your comment 100%. People take Nigeria for granted until you go and spend some years in the so called "Saner Climes". That is when you will realise that lighting candles and generator noise ain't too bad. Your mental state becomes paramount. |
SmartPolician:This is beyond mere state creation. Anioma people should be allowed and encouraged to join their kit and kin across the Niger. They are Igbos. Ancestral Igbos. |
Great topic. Logged in late. Has any of thought of the fact that some older men, fathers, actually look forward to being alone at older age. Especially between the ages of 55 and 75 when they are still physically fit. Having been surrounded by people-family members- all through my life, i can't wait to be be alone in the house at age 60 or thereabout. Being alone is not the same as being lonely. Once the money is available, a man can have a very enjoyable life living alone. Babes, fine wine, music and exquisite cuisine. Besides, you can always employ a maid for household chores. Having enough money and not worrying about rent is the key. |
Can someone explain to me why these people don't and will not go to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar etc to seek their asylums? Why must they go to Western countries with a lot of "Infidels". White people are taking this whole "civilization" sheet too far. |
How?!! You smoke something? Jonathan can ONLY be president. If ADC get sense, they should make either him or Peter Obi the presidential candidate. Atiku should play the role of "Kingmaker". He appears too old too. Peter Obi/ EL Rufai is the game changer. Anything outside that and TINUBU continues. Welcome to more misery. |
Konji is really a bastard. The guy needs Therapy. No female is safe around him. |

Kindered:That thing no tire you?!!! I no see any injuries ooo. Anyway, good job from homeboy CAS Aneke. Kudos to him. |
Mccullum:No be we talk am. Na Google talk am. Igbos are really the most intelligent black people. If Ojukwu had succeeded with the 1967 Biafra, all of una for no dey go UK, USA or Canada. Your abroad would have been Biafra. UAE for no see our back. On the Topic, ENUGU is very much capable. Those of us that were raised there know that. |
