OkayDaddy:Google is your friend. It was Ojukwu’s brothers and children from another marriage who were fighting her, not Anambra people. Stop generalizing and spreading falsehood and giving a whole state a bad name.

Ogbuu101:Tell the ignoramus. Those of us who witnessed the happenings in those days have the real facts. Bianca was already famous in her own right before her union with Ojukwu. She had already won the Miss Martini Pageant in london at the age of 18 ever before contesting in Miss Nigeria. After winning the Miss Nigeria, at 21 she went on to win 3 other international beauty pageants. Bianca had already become a national figure before her marriage to Ojukwu, and had so many advert and publicity deals those days, featuring in tvcommercials for Mic Hair products, Naturessence, Bata, Capirelax, Nu image, etc. She was front page of most magazines of that period, so what’s the big deal? To cap it all, educated in both England and Nigeria, She had already qualified as a lawyer before marriage to Ojukwu. How then can anyone talk trash that the daughter of a former governor, and one the wealthiest real estate mogul in the East even before becoming governor is climbing social ladder?

She’s looking good

This was the iconic outfit which made the front pages of almost all the National newspapers and soft cell magazines of those days and was dubbed ‘The dress that Launched a thousand ships’ by fashion pundits of the time. The former beauty Queen , Ambassador of Nigeria to Spain as well as the wife of late Igbo leader Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu took to her Facebook page to reminisce about this statement making outfit which she wore to a Perfume launch event as well as the Nigeria Music Awards. See the post below… THE DRESS THAT LAUNCHED A THOUSAND SHIPS…. Clothes are extremely powerful tools. They can evoke memories of special moments in our lives. This white and gold full length Wayne Clark inspired ensemble is one of such. This was my showstopping appearance for the official launch event in the USA of the fragrance called ‘CAESAR’S WOMAN’ over three decades ago. This fragrance, created by Caesars Palace/Caesars World, Las Vegas, was designed to evoke the elegance and luxury of life in Ancient Rome. It was the Eighties, the decade of excess. The launch party for the introduction of this Perfume was lavish and glamorous. the scents were brought into the expansive arena in a chariot led by models clad as Roman gladiators, soldiers and goddesses. To add to the razzmatazz the organizers intended to turn loose 25 doves whose wings were dipped in the fragrance in order to envelop the atmosphere in the luxurious fragrance (which apparently was how the Romans were said to have freshened the air), But regrettably, the doves refused to fly on the day of the launch😅! This Dress ultimately became my future husband’s favorite dress of my entire collection. He said it evoked fantasies of Cleopatra, Helen of Troy and Mona Lisa all rolled into one. Incidentally, He specially requested that I wear the outfit again when I accompanied him a couple of years later to the Nigeria Music Awards, Nigeria’s equivalent of the American Grammys at that time, organized by Sir Tony Okoroji’s PMAN. It caused quite a stir! He loved it so much, infact, that that he commissioned a series of Giaconda themed portraits of me in this ensemble with which he adorned the reception areas of our various homes. Flash forward to Today, this Fragrance has been discontinued but the memory of this dress that launched a thousand ships still lingers!

Lupita Nyong'o has made her relationship public. The actress is dating Selema Masekela, an American TV host and actor. Both Lupita and Selema shared the news at the same time by posting the same video via their respective Instagram accounts. Since coming to fame, Lupita has kept her personal life private. Her only confirmed relationship before now was with Keinan Abdi Warsame, the Somali-Canadian musician and poet popularly known as K'naan, who sang "Waving Flag".

pepperdemzombie:Pepperdemzombie, is clear you are related to dis Obiano razz wife. Any small thing you for jump out. Why bringing Soludo wife into this. |
What I like is that at just 50 wife of Adefarasin is acting more mature and she is dressed better and dances more decent than this former governor’s wife who just turned 62 but keeps pumping her face full of Botox crap because is terrified of ageing and is always fond of dressing like a cheap ten dollar ho’ and a wasted brothel madam all in a bid to appear young upon all the money she and her husband Obiano looted from Anambra state which she can use some of it for more decent clothes.

The former Nigeria Ambassador to Spain and Permanent Representative UNWTO in a Facebook post in October 2020 had gone down memory lane and shared a heartwarming experience with Prof Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Nigeria’s Former Minister of Finance and the top contender at the time, for the post of DG, World Trade Organisation. Prof Okonjo Iweala’s travails at the time stalled her confirmation despite having majority votes but as the Former beauty queen and wife of the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu assured in her warm tribute to Okonjo Iweala, ‘it will surely end in praise’. Her FB post... PROF NGOZI OKONJO IWEALA : A PERSONAL TESTIMONY. It’s generally said that women are their own worst enemies but I found the reverse to be true in the case of two extraordinary women who amongst other things, were instrumental to my stellar accomplishments during my tenure as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Of Spain. Prof Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who I barely knew, was Minister of Finance who I approached for help in order to present our case regarding the derelict and pitiful state of our Embassy building as well as the Ambassador’s Residence. This was because the then Minister of Foreign Affairs had frankly informed us that there was nothing much he could do to help our situation and suggested we bring the matter to her attention. Prof Ngozi Okonjo Iweala swiftly granted us an appointment, warmly welcoming us into her office which was a beehive of activity. She patiently listened to us, and personally took up our matter to the highest authority. It is to her credit that the reconstruction and massive renovations of both our chancery building and Residence were facilitated, making the Nigeria Embassy building in Spain, the most magnificent edifice on the prestigious Calle Segre and a subject of pride and joy to our citizens. In appreciation of her immense support, she was the Honoree at our spectacular Centennary Ceremony in Madrid. The Spanish capital Madrid came to a standstill when the ‘New Look’ Embassy Building as well as the Magnificent Residential Building were unveiled in two separate ceremonies by none other than another acclaimed destiny helper, First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, a woman whose passion for the upliftment and empowerment of women, especially in governance, is legendary. In our own environment where many women in powerful positions...most especially those who find themselves in such positions by proxy...constitute themselves ‘Osochiegbu’ (and even unashamed to claim that title), consumed with envy, bitterness, resentment and flaming jealousy towards dynamic women and employ all within their power to become obstacles in their path of progress, these two women stand out as a sterling example of what can be achieved when women sincerely commit to being their sisters keepers. I join millions of women worldwide in celebrating the emergence of Prof Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, a woman with a heart of gold, not only as the first African, but most significantly, the first woman that will become DG of the World Trade Organisation. Wonderful Sister, it will surely end in praise. CONGRATULATIONS !!!! you have made History. Your Integrity and good works will ever speak for you. Amb. Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu.
