Award-winning researcher and publicist, Isima Odeh, has declared that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not fit to be a leader.

Odeh who made the declaration via his Twitter page on Thursday, September 15, berated the IPOB leader for still living in his father's house at the age of 50.

According to him, this is a proof that Kanu cannot manage a country, as he has not been able to manage his personal life

Suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have been accused of invading a Yoruba mosque in Abia state and destroying everything in it.

The development was made public by a Facebook user, Yuslah Faruk
In the post, a video was uploaded showing the level of destruction inflicted on the property.

In the video, a man could be heard lamenting, as he accused the miscreants of also defecating in the place of worship and stealing various items including fans, meter, and even protectors.

Various piles of paper were seen splashed about the place as the narrator stated that the criminals had also destroyed the certificates of students who worshipped in the mosque.

Registering his displeasure over the unfortunate incident, he stated: “It is unfair, this is too much. Yorubas are not interested in anything about Biafra or whatever.

“These people are wicked and callous, they destroyed everywhere, took their money.”

He further stated: “I believe that God will judge them”.

I received calls from my parents around 11:54 pm yesterday and 6am this morning. My parents are elderly, they don't understand what even IPOB means yet none of them could sleep. They said everyone has been on his toes, apprehensive and jittery.

My uncle, a pastor with Redeemed in Aba has never liked Nnamdi Kanu sympathizers (which I am unapologetically one of). His support for Restructuring is unflinching. But it is ironical that he has cried even more than the IPOB boys with the recent Operation Python Dance. I am in Lagos but the updates they feed me with have drawn closer to home.

According top them, the Soldiers have taken over everywhere. As at 2am early morning unprecedented sounds of gunshots were heard in Aba and soon after, soldiers started parading around. It continued till the time my mum called me around 6am.

I contacted a friend, he told me it was just few of the Igbos who had lived in the North understood what the soldiers stationed at the checkpoints in Aba and Umuahia were speaking. He said they all spoke Hausa language. And I wonder, is it that there were no soldiers from the South especially the South East with them?

I could still recall when Fmr President Jonathan deployed troops to North East, most were from the region. And even some were reportedly sanctioned for saboteur.

The truth is, we can all rant on cyber space here. But , none of us knows the truth of the deep social unrest and apprehension the soldiers have brought to the area with the Operation. It is real. It is happening now. Say whatever you want against the Igbos and the IPOB on this ignoble horror-filled attack on them, your region may be next. Who knows?

An allegedly leaked telephone conversation between two presidency cabal has been released by Sahara Reporters with the conversation focusing on President Muhammadu Buhari’s health.




In the alleged conversation between two unnamed persons believed to be close to the president, they discussed Buhari’s health calling for his resignation.
Abba Kyari who is the chief of staff to the president was also proposed as vice president.

In the alleged conversation, the caller informed the recipient that Mamman Daura, the president’s nephew, and Mr. Kyari had been sneaked into Kaduna from abroad on a chartered plane.

The caller also said Mr. Lawan Daura, the director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS) received them but they did not go to his house.




The caller said: “They held a meeting, including Sani Zango Daura. They said they held a meeting; they are looking for a way out. They are in a cul-de-sac. They said Mamman Daura is trying to convince the President to resign on the condition that Abba Kyari be made Vice President”

The initiator of the call further said the matter was presented to Professor Ango Abdullahi, the spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum, but he rejected it.
The caller urged the recipient to speak with Abdullahi and make him buy into the scheme.

The recipient said: “I will go and see him in Kaduna.”

The caller then adds: “Better. Because the matter is very sensitive now and they are all in town.” to which the recipient promised to do his best.

Meanwhile, Sahara Reporters reported that it has received an exclusive audio of a conversation between Mamman Daura, a cousin of President Buhari and one of his closest supporter, with Mamman Tukur a member of his cabal.

The conversation between the two men allegedly took place during the president’s medical vacation in London where they were reportedly discussing their worries about his health condition during his treatment.

In the audio both men share their concerns about the wife of the president whom they referred to as "sui*ide bomber" from Yola.

Leader and founder of Biafra Independence Movement (BIM), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has accused other Biafran factional leaders of trying to cause war in Nigeria.

He said this on Wednesday, September 13, during the 18th anniversary celebration of BIM formation.




Uwazuruike who also reacted to the recent attack on Hausa community in the southeast and southsouth pleaded with the community not to respond to provocations from the agitators.
The factional leader also claimed that the strategy of these agitators is to foment trouble with the Hausa communities in 'these areas so that our people in the North would be attacked', Vanguard reports.

He said: “One of the most glaring achievements of the BIM family is that we created all the factions existing in the Biafra struggle today and their leaders. The important thing is that every one of them is talking about Biafra, irrespective of their actual intentions.




“It is however disturbing that some of these factional leaders are not following the non-violence principles as they are supposed to be. Some of these factions pretend to be non-violent but practice the reverse. The intention of some of these leaders is to cause war.

“We advise the Hausa communities in the southeast and southsouth not to fall to the antics of these misguided fellows. The leaders of the Hausa communiities living in the two regions should instruct their members not to respond to any provocation coming from these elements. They should rather report such provocations to the law enforcement agents. The strategy of these detractors is to foment trouble with the Hausa communities in these areas so that our people in the North would be attacked. They want to achieve crisis by all means.




“They recently provoked a quit notice from the Northern Youth Leaders. I travelled to the Arewa House in Kaduna to douse the tension. Their new strategy now is to attack the Hausa communities in the southeast and southsouth to achieve their nefarious intentions. All hands must be on deck to ensure that these evil plans did not see the light of the day.

“Without being immodest, I am the originator of the new Biafra struggle. I recruited every operator in this struggle: the good, the bad and the ugly. I introduced the principle of non-violence as the only means through which the new Biafra could be achieved. I still believe in the principle of non-violence.

“The new Biafra struggle was intended to be a long term process, backed by non-violence initiatives. There is no short cut. We are happy to announce that after 18 years, we are still in the saddle. We are stronger and more determined. We enjoin our misled comrades who followed the wrong way to trace back their steps to the original concepts. The struggle continues.”

- The pro-Biafra group alleged that the army ensured that all Hausa-Fulani’s left the area as it prepared to ‘decimate’ Igbos, but vowed that no one can stop its agitation for Biafra

- The group appealed to various nations and international bodies to prevail on the federal government to call for a referendum as it said it did not want war.
The Nigerian army has been accused by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), of informing all Hausa-Fulani residents of Umuahia to relocate, ahead of its ongoing Operation Python Dance campaign.




According to reports, IPOB made its accusations in a statement released by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful
It read: “We were properly informed that the Hausa Fulani soldiers have instructed all the Hausa-Fulani living in Biafra; particularly those in Umuahia and its environs to vacate.

“Right now, none of the Hausa Fulani could be sighted or seen anywhere around Umuahia.

“This show is to prove that the Hausa Fulani soldiers deployed to Biafra are battle-ready to decimate Biafran people in their own land while preventing any reprisal that this evil plot might lead to.




“But, we promise them that IPOB under Mazi Nnamdi Kanu cannot resort to armed struggle or afford to stop now that we have passed the Rubicon.

“We achieved a lot towards the restoration of Biafra and God Almighty (Chukwu Okike Abiama) is on our side.

“No man born of a woman can stop the project God almighty himself ordained.”
The group however stated that it was not asking for war, and called on various countries and global institutions to urge the Nigerian government to fix a date for a referendum to be conducted.




The statement read further: “We are calling on men and women of good conscience across the globe, lovers of freedom, United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), African Union (AU), American government, Russia government, Israeli government, Chinese government, Turkish government, Canadian government, French government, German government, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and relevant human rights organizations across the globe to prevail on the Nigerian government to leave Biafrans alone, by fixing a particular date for referendum in Biafra to ascertain whether the people want to remain in Nigeria or not; we are not asking for war.”
