I remember Hymn 646: Stand Up, Stand Up For Jesus.

This is a laudable development. It should be applied nationwide and not just in Imo state alone.

The topic is obviously not true, but sadly, that is the picture of Jesus that the modern day church has painted of Jesus - a wealthy family man. This picture (a billionaire married to Mary Magdalene) is obviously not the true depiction of Jesus Christ. Churches preach prosperity rather than godliness and contentment. They preach 'family first' instead of 'God first'. The poor are considered as fake believers, while single people are considered as sub-par members of society. So, it's no surprise that someone somewhere will come up with the ridiculous idea that Jesus was a billionaire married to Mary Magdalene.

It's really very strange to me why the none of the dead ones has done this.
In the early 2000s, some overzealous christians came out and made a tape claiming that they resurrected from death after three days because God gave them a second chance to return to the world and warn sinners to desist from sin. These people even went as far as saying that God told them that the coming of Christ was imminent and that the world was coming to an end in the new millennium in the year 2000. A claim that never came to pass. I was only five years then and I still remember how my neighbors sold almost all their properties ahead of the coming of Christ.

The bible actually tells us what happens after death in the story of the rich man and the beggar, Lazarus. Read the story below:

In Daniel 7, we see that Daniel has a dream. In his dream, he sees four beasts: a lion with eagle’s wings, a bear, a leopard with four heads and the wings of a fowl, and a fourth beast more ferocious than the rest.

Everyone knows that the eagle is the symbol of the United States, and many people will also recognize the lion as the symbol of the United
Kingdom. In Other words, the wings of the eagle (America) were broken off the Lion (the UK) when America became a country on July 4th, 1776.
Daniel 7:4 was a prophecy of the Declaration of Independence – the birth of America.

If you pay any attention at all to the news, it is very easy to identify the Bear as Russia. You hear the talk regularly about the Russian Bear 2. Russia is well known for its ability to devour much flesh as leaders like Lenin and Stalin killed several million people.

3) The Leopard and the Fowl:- After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it. Daniel 7:6 KJV

Most people probably do not know that the symbol of France is a Rooster, which is a fowl, and the unofficial symbol of Germany is the leopard.
German Leopard tanks have been used predominantly in European armies since their introduction in the 1960s.
We can understand the four heads of this leopard by remembering that Germany’s Third Reich historically attempted to gain world dominion during World War II, and that the Fourth Reich is emerging in our time. France and Germany are also founding members of the European Union.

4) The fourth Beast:- After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. In Revelation 13:1-2, the Apostle John depicts Daniel’s four beasts again, now combined into one: a beast that is part leopard, part bear, and part lion, with ten horns.
This beast is a world-dominating kingdom that will include Germany, Russia, and England. Since Daniel sees that the leopard is given dominion, we may also surmise that Germany will be the dominant nation in this world government. The new horn that emerges and dominates three others tells us this government will be controlled by the Antichrist.

It is important to note that the wings of the eagle are missing from this united beast. Instead, we see the wings of the eagle in Revelation 12:14 protecting the woman, which many believe to be Israel.
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Rev 12:14 KJV

So what will be the role of the US before the Second Coming? An uncooperative force? A destroyed world power? An Israeli ally? This is still unclear.

As we can see, Daniel’s dream shows us the nations that would be on earth just before the return of Jesus to this earth to setup His kingdom.

Nice write-up. You mentioned that the 1st beast (Lion with eagles wings) is UK/US; the 2nd beast (Bear) is Russia; and the 3rd beast (Leopard with fowls wings) is Germany/France. But you didn't mention what nation the 4th beast is. Could the 4th beast be China?

@topic It's a little of both for me. I'm looking forward to Jesus' return but at the same time, I'm a little scared of how it will be and hoping that whenever He comes I will be prepared. The Messiah will reign as King at a time when all the Jewish people will observe G-d’s commandments (Ezekiel 37:24; Deut. 30:8,10; Jeremiah 31:32; Ezekiel 11:19-20, 36:26-27).

No matter how many unusual & miraculous things Jesus seems to accomplish in the New Testament, he doesn't fulfill even one of the 6 criteria by which the Nation of Israel can recognize him as the true Jewish Messiah.

One principal way the Holy Spirit speaks to us is by what is called the inward witness. You can see this in the bible:

Moving from Lagos to a cheaper city is worth it. I did it, so I am talking from experience. The cost of living is a lot cheaper. And you don't spend hours in traffic. Life is easy and you can now have extra savings.

But now that we know the newly elected Pope to be American, Trump's picture as a pope now seems to me as an unwitting prophecy that the next pope will be American.

I buy 7GB for N3,500 and it lasts for about a week. That should be like N14,000 in a month.
