The truth is, God is like Mr. Miyagi in the original Karate Kid movie. He starts by doing things that seem completely unrelated to the desired outcome. "Wax on, wax off", paint up, paint down, etc. But in due time, He shows you how all what you've been doing/experiencing has being the actual preparation/outcome that you desired. Apostle Paul put it this way in the bible:

*[[2Co 4:16]] KJV* For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
*[[2Co 4:17]] KJV* For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
*[[2Co 4:18]] KJV* While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

In the book of Exodus, Moses had gone up to the mountain of God to receive the commandments. While he (Moses) tarried there, the people at the camp got Aaron (Moses' brother) to make a golden calf for them to worship. To them (i.e. the people), they were showing their appreciation to the God who brought them out of Egypt. However, they didn't realise that they had slipped into idolatry (idol worship). They were no longer worshipping the true God, but were now worshipping a god of gold. It was until the return of Moses before they realized their error. At that point, Aaron said the people made him do it. Unfortunately, there were devastating consequences that led to the people being separated into those who were with Moses or not.

The above situation is true of our current state as the people of God. Just as Moses tarried on the mountain of God, so also does the return of Jesus Christ tarry. And while Jesus tarries, the people of God have unknowingly slipped into idolatry. Nowadays, the people of God are worshipping a god of gold just as the Israelites started worshipping the golden calf. The primary motive of 'worshipping God' nowadays is for what God can give me: money, cars, houses, job, promotion, fruit of the womb, spouse, admission, visa, etc. These are all 'golden calves'. Jesus said you cannot worship God and Mammon. Mammon in this case being the golden calf.

The truth is, one day Jesus Christ will return from heaven just as Moses returned from the mountain of God. On that day, the pastors and priests will say the people made me do it just as Aaron said. Aaron represents the priesthood. The people were the ones who 'demanded' for a god of gold. After all, the pews would be empty if the pastors and priests didn't 'supply' a god of gold. But then, Jesus Christ will cause there to be a separation between those who are for Him and those who are not.

Is it a coincidence that "SUN" and "SON" are pronounced exactly the same. Perhaps God has a hidden code in His creation of our solar system.

Just as the planets revolve around the SUN, so also God's kingdom 'revolves' around His SON.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." (Psalm 19:1)

"And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:" (Genesis 3:22)

QUESTION 1:
If it is eating of the tree of life that makes one live forever, doesn't that mean that Adam and Eve were eventually going to die even if they hadn't eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?

QUESTION 2:
Why did God say "...THE MAN HAS BECOME AS ONE OF US..."? Why didn't God say "...THE MAN HAS DIED..."? Doesn't that mean the serpent was the one telling the truth in Genesis 3:5?

JOB: something performed by an employee in an exchange for pay. Also the name of a character in the bible.

Although they are pronounced differently, I find it interesting that they are the same word.

Have you spent weeks, months (and even years) searching for a JOB, it may be that God is testing you just like JOB in the bible.

The good news is that just as the suffering of JOB ended, so also shall your JOB search end...and it might just be double like JOB.

In Genesis chapter 2, the Bible says that God said that it is not good that man be alone. So God made a woman with the rib He took out of Adam.

My question is, what happened to the female God created in Genesis chapter 1?
