I think this post is an insult to Susan Harvey, let the poor woman rest in peace!!!.

Is it not enough that while she was alive most of you insulted her, calling her ugly and what not. The nairaland mod who out this in front page should lose his/her rights as a mod.

Music/RadioHarlem Shake To Replace Gangam Style? by kramer(op):
Following in the footsteps of Gangnam Style, internet sensation the Harlem Shake is headed for the Official Singles Chart Top 40 this weekend!

New internet sensation Harlem Shake looks set to follow in the footsteps of Psy’s Gangnam Style. Soundtracked by New York DJ Baauer’s track of the same name, the Harlem Shake meme is spreading like wildfire to become the latest viral smash. Today Baauer’s single has shot into the Official Singles Chart Top 40, and sales show no sign of relenting before Sunday.

The numerous home-made Harlem Shake parodies are a nod to a New York dance style of the 1980s, and feature unassuming subjects in their bedrooms / lounge / offices going nuts when the heavy bassline of Brooklyn-producer Bauuer’s track kicks in. Harlem Shake debuts at Number 22 on today’s Official Singles Chart Update.

However, with the original track clocking up over 3 million YouTube views, and hundreds of video bloggers producing their own Harlem Shake memes, it’s sure to rocket further up the Official Singles Chart come Sunday.

babysnogls: 3.Mary Slessor died for love.
4. Florence Nightingale
5. Helen keller, d blind, deaf and dumb who learnt to speak and gave hope to blind and deaf by teaching them.
6. Elizabeth Fry who opened a school for poor children , visited and looked after women prisoners and died 1845
8. Lady Diana
Wrong!

They're talking proper love as in romance.

BTW Lady Diana (may her soul r.I.p) died trying to keep her privacy, not for love

Sagamite: Look, the moral of the story is that it is almost useless to be saying this player cost more so he is better. You just dig a hole for yourself. Football is not about silly stats, it is about who can play it well at the highest level.
OK I agree, and that's why Okocha is better than Essien. Shikena. End of discussion.

If my team was a goal down I would put in Okocha over Essien any day any time. Not to say Essien isn't world class. The man can also play
SportsRe: Sagamite's Top 30 Greatest African Footballers Of All Time by kramer: 4:14pm On Jan 27, 2013
Sagamite: But the guy was banging in goals.

Weah became WPoY at 34.

So we don't judge on age,e on current form.
Yes you're right there but that doesn't apply in all cases. Weah, shearer and ian wright are examples of players who got better with age.

However when you buy a player, you don't just base it on current form, you look at their longevity too

This reflected on Henry's price, unlike the others his prime advantage was his speed (which goes down the older you get) though he was still a clinical finisher as ever

Jarus: Essien played in same French league and was voted best player 2004. Okocha played in same league with PSG.
Sorry I miss your point?

BTW do you know that ronaldinho was in the same team as okocha as well? I wouldn't have expected him to win best player at the time

Just as essien wouldn't win best player of the league if he played in the same leagu as messi or ronaldinho

Sagamite: Amsorry?

How was Henry sold past his prime?

You want to BS me?

You think you can BS Sagamite?

As in: SAGAMITE from Sagamuewa?!
Ogbeni yii... Henry was sold at the age of 30yrs... Dude only had 2yrs left on his clock... How on earth would someone have paid 50mill for a 30yr oldhuh

Besides well all know that price was overinflated thanks to chelski.
SportsRe: Sagamite's Top 30 Greatest African Footballers Of All Time by kramer: 12:49pm On Jan 27, 2013
Sagamite: Shakes head!

And Fernando Torres was worth more than Henry. What a "great point"?

You use silly stats to make a point, you end up looking silly!

Stop this arguments!

It is not tennis, it is a team sport.

You have not told me if Xavi was shyt and a local champion.
Fair enough the value of players do get inflated sometimes. But you can't use Torres and Henry's case an example.

Henry was sold past his prime whilst Torres was in his prime when he was sold. Henry would definitely have cost way more than Torres if he was sold during his glory moments

Brown Bread: Essien is hyped? r u on drugs? If u want useless dribblings witout producing any meaningful outcome most of the time pls give it okocha.

2005 UNFP LIGUE 1 PLAYER OF DA YR
2006 BBC AFRICAN PLAYER OF THE YR
2008 GHANA PLAYER OF THE YR
CHELSEA GOAL OF THE SEASON 2006-07 VS ARSENAL, 2008-09 VS BARCELONA
2007 CHELSEA PLAYER OF THE YEAR
I WONT CONTINUE ANYMORE JUX SPEW OUT OKOCHA'S OWN, ALWAYS PLAYING TO THE GALLERY grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Dude sharap and go and read your children's books. Did you ever see Okocha play??

Why dont you paste Okocha's honours as well? What a dumbnut

BTW did i not say Essien was a good player too? All i said is he was hyped because he was more prominent because he played for chelsea.

Read my previous post again and you will see the value of the two players
SportsRe: Sagamite's Top 30 Greatest African Footballers Of All Time by kramer: 12:12pm On Jan 27, 2013
@op i also noticed you managed to dodge my statements with your dictionary jibe.

One more thing for you to check out

When Essien moved to chelsea from Lyon.. it cost 24.4million pounds in 2005

When Okocha moved from fenerbache to PSG it cost 24million dollars in 1998(at the time the american dollar was on par with pounds). So if you adjust that value according to inflation it will be way more than 24 million pounds.

Point here is Okocha was worth more than Essien.. QED

Sagamite: The same Michael Essien that was listed as one of the World best for 4-5 successive seasons and being star player of winning teams is who you want to compare with Okocha and Odegbami?

You having a laugh?
My friend don't be gullible, I checked Essiens record and i dont see any award for being the world's best huh huh ... Please post your source

Moreover, though Essien is a very good player I believe the reason why he was so hyped was because he played at his best in a prominent league!

Okocha spent his best years in PSG and most especially Fenebarche. At the time he arrived at the premier league he was just past his best but still managed to win the bbc african footballer of the year twice!! something Essien hasnt been able to do.

Also please tell me, if your team was 1-0 down and you needed someone to make an impact on the game, sincerely speaking who would you bring on? Essien or Okocha?

My two cents.
