TV/MoviesRe: D'banj And Kanye West To Star In A Movie - Cruel Summer by kramer: 12:05pm On May 26, 2012
9jafreak: Is D'banj An Illuminati? (*The Truth*)

1. First things first: The American Corporatocracy do not give a monkeys about any African artist/artiste. Their job is to elevate their preferred American/British/Canadian freakshow masters with the double intention of:
(i) dumbing down the Public (in both America and the world)
and (ii)luring them (the said Public) into the mythical promise of the 'Good Life' --- a rare privilege meant for the chosen, the opportuned and the super-geniuses of society. That way, we will all be unconscious of (or oblivious to) the actual machinations beneath this reality.

2. Now since Africans are notorious for imitating anything American, the American Establishment only need to keep the illusion alive on home soil. The wannabees will naturally buy into it (as is now evident everywhere).

3. Besides, the Corporatocracy already got African governments in their pouch, why should they worry about an ordinary African celebrity? Yes, we all are ordinary to them. What greater benefit can any of us bring than a land flowing with natural resources which they already have under corporate control?!
Our entire country is indebted to them. They wrote our nation's history, dictate her present and control her future (what more could one ask for?)

*****

4.However, with D'banj, something appears to have changed. A new opportunity presents itself --- as always, in the form of "profit". Koko Master D'banj, living up to his reputation as an opportunist with the brain of a 12 year old, invited the emissaries of Africa's slave masters to come in for more spoils.
He might be stupid but he also knows that there is an unlimited supply of stupidity and gullubility on the African continent
(stupidity and gullibility bolstered in many ways by religious fanaticism, poor education, and a terrifying inability to connect the dots).

5. Perhaps Don Jazzy understands this and therefore decided not to "further sell his soul" for bigger fame and servitude (which, all things being equal, should also lead to more fortunes for the favoured).
Although Don Jazzy's own moral test will come when we finally assess how much of his wealth he gave to the poor. He might be a 'better sinner' than D'banj, but he is no saint.

6. To be sure, D'banj is NOT illuminati. Neither is Kanye, Bieber, Kirk Franklin, Rhianna, Mary Mary or any of the other agents. They are simply "the chosen ones".
The criteria for chosenness differs: from extraordinary talent to sheer stupidity. Visionary is out of the question (How can you see above your head?) The illusion of vision is that it is ahead, but really it's in 'THE HEAD'. It's the head that dictates the vision, hence the conspiracy. But it is no more a conspiracy than it is an IDEOLOGY. A belief. A creed. And a Promise for all who care. And the expectation is that you should.

Thus what all the agents have in common is BIG AMBITION, a RESENTMENT for correction and moral guidance and a firm REJECTION of the NORM.
And D'banj has got plenty of these.

** The Okoye brothers (PSQUARE) have also decided to push their luck further north in response to the widening excesses and excessive haste, as is Banky W, Wizkid, Davido, Sarkodie, and many others.

Africa is at a melting point again, and the reason why it is too easy is because you can always count on the gullibility of the African Public.
Lol! The irony of your post is highlighted in that last sentence smiley

The lluminati is a conspiracy theory concocted and fuelled by people like you who definitely have too much time on their hands that they can sit down and write an essay about something they have no proof of

dare2think: I wonder if Linda Ikeji is married?

She has the wrong perception of marriage and fits very well into the caucus of hungry Nigerian girls that seek vanity rather than wisdom or contentment.

The only 'cheap' person is Linda, because her mentality is really sad.
GBAM That's what's wrong with some of our nigerian women.. their eyes too dey like bling bling. That 50k ring alone can feed a 5 member family in somalia for at least 3years
I hope they paid that copywriter well. .coz this has got to be one of the most brilliant promotional works ever written by a Nigerian for a Nigerian organization. . . Very impressive. Usually Nigerian adverts and commercials read like they were written by a 5yrs old.

The key to a good copywritten concept is visualization, when the images jump right at you as you read the words. The writer obviously knows his onions. . .I mean you can already see it all play out. . .the disenchanted agbero boys on the street, the middleclass guy in his car. . .most likely a Toyota Candy, you can feel the agbero boys' anger when they hear Adegboye's name, tension heightens and then, *gen gen *  the cornered victim mentions TB Joshua and all is well with the world.

I hope they don't screw it all up during casting sha, I'd advice them to go with people who have the acting chops rather the usual nepotistic casting.
GBAM Exactly what i was thinking, It's quite obvious this story has been concocted, EPIC FAIL

What I find funny is the utter confidence a lot of you display on here especially when you're totally wrong!
I firmly agree with you on this grin am tired of arguing

Can you read or do you have issues comprehending statements? I rightfully  described the picture as a quest for justice, while you came out of left-field comparing it to an Advertisement banning Okada. . .  undecided
Are you ok?
My point here is if you want to post pictures of the dead then go ahead and post them, but please show some respect for the dead. Just because someone has lost his life to injustice doesnt automatically mean he (or his family) would consent to his picture being used publicly "so long as the world was made aware of the injustice" as you stated. That's a massive error! am sorry but i cant agree with you on that. You cannot compare everyone to Mohamed Bouazizi (the individual who kick-started the Arab spring) he committed suicide in the open because he wanted to send a message to the masses, so passing on his pictures was somewhat justified for its highly likely he would have consented.

The okada analogy was meant to give you an example of what i was trying to say (i expected that you would be aware that there have been discussions concerning a ban on okadas in Lagos) My unreserved apologia if it was too grotesque for you.

That said, we are all entitled to our own views and there isnt a clear right or wrong answer. chinkena

Ohh you find my analogy grotesque now? compare that to the numerous uncensored pictures you see posted on here, if i posted such picture here it wouldnt be grotesque to you as long as the person died for a just cause right?

Btw I have gone back and read your comment, now you go back and read mine
PoliticsRe: El-rufai Live On Channels Tv by kramer: 3:27pm On Jan 12, 2012
rati ken:
The summary of Boyo's position is:
Boyo has maintained that the foreign exchange role of the CBN should be de-monoploized which i consider very valid.
We sell our crude in US dollar, why should the CBN single handedly provide equivalent naira to the various ministries and states even for dollar expenditures. Because the states and ministries will go back to the open market to source the dollar equivalents at prices artificially manipulated by the CBN. If CBN provides allocations in equivalent dollars as needed, this will drive up the value of the naira as there will be less demand pressure on the US dollars.

As such the price of PMS in equivalent naira will drop as well as the imported products are purchased in dollars. At an improved naira rate, subsidy rate will be greatly minimised or even disappear depending on the strenght of the naira.

In a more simpler terms, a lot of factors influence our foreign exchange rates, overr and above the place of our economy, the demand of a particular currency drive up the exchange rate. CBN creates artificial scarcity by providing funds/ allocations to various parastatals and states in naira rather than in dollars which is the actual currency on which our revenue is derived. If we eliminate this artificial scarcity by providing funds in dollars, we can get our exchange rate down to 1$ = 110 naira (my assumption). As such, the market price of PMS which is currently at $0.875 = 140 naira will only be $0.875= 96 naira. At that price, govt will only be subsidizing 31naira per litre (96-65 naira) instead of the current 75naira per litre subsidy
Nice breakdown, Thanks for that

All the gory pictures from the Arab spring, do u think permission was taken from relatives before they were posted?
I wonder why we always leave leprosy in Nigeria and will be chasing ringworm?
You cannot be sure of the answer to that can you? besides most of the pictures from the arab spring hide the identity of the victims (unless they are popular figures.) and I am yet to see an unclad picture of a victim

kingoflag:
I bet you if the dead man could speak, he wouldn't complain if he was Unclad or not in the pictures being shown, so long as the world was made aware of the injustice he suffered and how his life was wasted for no just reason.
Lets use this example, say you got hit by an okada and you fall and split your brains all over the street (God forbid lipsrsealed) do you mean you wouldnt mind if pictures of your leaking brain (with a zoomed profile of your face) are posted around the web, and newspapers as a promo to ban okadas?
My best friend is my ex, so even when I got a new bf there was no way I could cut ties with him, like what for?  there were few times we even went out together and my bf knew about all of it, and he had no problem with it because of trust.
It could also be because he's doing something much worse behind you and so can't complain tongue grin lipsrsealed

BTW hope you don't have feelings for your ex cos if you do then keeping in touch will be a bad idea, but if you're over her and you love your current gf then there's no problem.  cheesy
The problem here is that you can never predict what his ex is thinking, she could secretly still be infatuated with him and simply waiting for the right moment to pounce, Am not saying you should cut off your ex totally but if you are really serious about your current gf then you should definitely minimise the time you spend with your ex or watch what you guys talk about. Dont drag your old relationship into your new one

Welcome to the reality of the revolution!
Pictures paint a thousand word,
The graphic nature of the pictures make us realise the price that's being paid.
It is d pictures that will make the world realise what is going on in Nigeria just like it brought Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen and now Syria to world's attention!
If you are so chicken and you can't stomach these, please go back to the romance section where you will get posts that will be agreeable to your stomach.
People are dying in a terrible manner and some people are complaining about Unclad pictures, does the dead care? nonsense!
Sorry i have to ask do you actually know how it feels to lose a close relative?

If the deceased would want his/her picture published to prove a point (e.g the man who started the Arab spring for instance) then i would understand publishing his pics without consent from anyone because that was what he died for otherwise it's disrespectful to the family and friends, the least you can do is hide the identity of the deceased or cover his/her unclothedness which we do not do.
PoliticsRe: Please Stop Posting Pictures Of The Dead. by kramer: 12:35pm On Jan 11, 2012
I agree with the OP, these people are fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters to other people. You wouldn't appreciate it if people posted dead naked pics of your father or mother online would you?

If it must be done to show "proof" then respect must first be shown to the family of the deceased and his/her privacy should be protected. Simple!
