He was rested in a tougher tie against Sevilla until he was later introduced, so why not today? Barça would have won one way or another, so why risk him?

The truth is a third treble for barca will be too much to take for the madrid fans and a third consecutive UCL trophy will be too much to swallow for the cules also but the reality is that one is likely to happen.

Barça win another treble? The football gods will not allow that; it's just not fair. However, Madrid winning another UCL title will not be something new to the football world. I mean, during the 50's( or was it 60's), we won 5 consecutive European cups. A third consecutive UCL title wouldn't be far-fetched since it is all we can win this season.

Honestly, I don't think they can. It would be perilous to go all guns-blazing against this Liverpool team and not expecting to concede. The mistake City made was not getting that all important away goal. They will surely win, but won't qualify.
