People saying that Quagliarela should have been awarded the MVP must be scatterbrained dunces. His 26 goals didn't do shiit for his team, not even a europa league qualification. Top scorer does not equate best player. CR7 was the most decisive player in Juve enroute their league winning campaign(won most points, 21), and also scored the crucial goal in the supercup win against Milan. Quagliarela was rewarded for his goalscoring exploits with the topscorer award, nothing more. It's like saying Aubameyang or Mane should be awarded EPL player of the season for being topscorers. Stupidity!

Dude there's a tendency that you are bound to emulate whoever you see you idolize. If your idol smokes, you will smoke sooner or later; if he's ambitionless, you would be ambitionless. And yes Hazard with his skillset and talent should at 28 have won at least one UCL and a couple of ballon d'ors if he had a little bit more ambition to develop his game, probably improve his scoring. If the ballon d'or shouldn't be the height of a successful footballer then what should be? And Maradona likewise Pele never won it because at the time it was only awarded to Europeans. Your football knowledge is rudimentary if you don't know this.

This is why Hazard will not win a ballon d'or. He would rather fanboy an ambitionless midget contented with lifting La liga and copa every year than the king who has won it all. Pathetic. And I surmise that he will win one very soon and move to a bigger club like Madrid whilst Hazard would soon clock 30 and still be watching youtube videos of Messi with his kids and fawning about how Messi is the only G.O.A.T.
