Hazard is exceptional when he has space to run into. With quality forwards in front of him, he can wreck havoc in a twinkle of an eye.

He is not the type that passes the ball around, he loves to run and take on defenders. He does that pretty well.

What kills him at Chelsea is the need to always fall back and defend. Hazard loves to move forward, keeping opposing fullbacks on their toes.

If he plays for a team like Barca that can keep the ball, with forwards like Suarez that can drag defenders away...

Hazard becomes Wizard.

The problem is that Barcelona already have the best in the world in taking on players in Messi; therefore Hazard's biggest strength which is taking on players would become redundant in that team if he is not the type that passes and scores a lot.

Do not confuse me for a hater, because I am not.Hazard is one of my favourite EPL players(if not my best).Go check my initial post about him yesterday, I said he was a very good player but simply stated IMHO that he is not yet on Suarez/Bale/Neymar level(the elites) but would surely get there; an opinion which should have been taken with a pinch of salt and simply overlooked by true Chelsea fans, only for Hazard fanatics like Chelseafan1 and co. to start hyperventilating thinking I was berating him.

What I meant was that his incosistent performances during the 2015/16 season was one of the reason Chelsea finished 10th.Answer this, was Hazard's 2015/16 season anywhere close/similar to his 2014/15 season in terms of performance?

Deny it all you want, but truth is Hazard is inconsistent.He may be world class, not a one-season wonder, but to be on the upper echelon as far as football players are concerned, he would need to continue dishing out world class perfomances every season and not the rubbish he displayed in 2015/16.Elite players don't take breaks; if they do, they would be usurped.

I believe I have a already answered your question by stating that those teams(Tot. 2012/13 and Liv. 2013/14) were not in any way comparable to Chelsea in 2014/15.Both were carrying an average team and didn't even need to win a title to be considered the best that season, whilst Hazard just happened to be the best player in a Chelsea team that had lots of stand-out performers that season.Point of correction, Hazard won only the League cup and League title the season he won the POTY; unless you are comparing the careers of all 3 players in which hitherto Bale and Suarez's acheivements dwarfs Hazard's.Shalom.

No elite player would go invisible for almost an entire season; that's what Hazard did last season after putting up a world class performance in 2014/15 season that had everyone almost fooled that he was in Messi/CR's level.His performance last season was shambolic for an elite, and he would have a lot of convincing to do this season to show that he is not a one season wonder.

Don't tell me you actually think Hazard is anywhere close to those two; I believe there is a threshold to being deluded even if you are a fanboy.Both players were almost single-handedly dragging average teams to compete for the title, and were immediately swooped by the top 2 clubs in the world.Hazard was the standout performer in a very good Chelsea side; he was nowhere close to those two when there were in the EPL(he wasn't even good enough to win the POTY when both were there and had to settle for the less prestigious YPOTY).

It has been over 10 yrs since we played Arsenal, so I want Madrid to be placed in the same group as the gunners.

Bale once again stepping up in the absence of CR and 4 other key players; that should be like 5/6 goals in his last 4 at the Anoeta.Superb assists from Carvajal and Varane and an equally superb finish from both Bale and Asensio.We didn't dominate the match as much as I would love to, but with 5 players missing and no goals conceeded against Sociedad for the first time in years, I cannot help but be satisfied with the result.Maybe Perez finally made the right decision by not disrupting the squad, and it looks like its about to pay off with a league title.3pts in the bag!
