You don't wait for young players with talents like this to have star status before they are given a chance.If he acquires that "star" status, he might be snapped up by the Spanish team and given an offer too good to refuse.I wouldn't blame him then if he refuses to play for Nigeria since they didn't believe in him when he declared his interest to represent his native country.
