This would be the 3rd meeting between Nigeria and Germany at this level.
The Flying eagles beat Germany 2-0 in Lagos in 1999, and lost 2-3 in 2009 at the round of 16.

Nigeria played its best match against Germany in that 2009 tournament but still lost courtesy a last minute counter by the Germans thanks to Haruna lukman losing the ball.We even dominated the match.

Who says CR7 is not good at link up play.Don't just judge players based on one or two seasons.Madrid was playing a possession type of football under Ancelloti using the 4-3-3 formation when the squad is complete or a 4-4-2 sometimes.It means that the creative work was done mainly by the Madrid midfield of Kroos, Modric, James/Isco while the attackers finish the moves.Previous seasons especially under Mourinho, Madrid used a 4-2-3-1 formation, playing a direct/counter-attack type of football and he was very much involved in build up.It all depends on the coach.

brazil that i watched was not that strong, agreed they won, but the fault of our defeat lies squarely on the shoulders of the coach and enaholo our keeper. enaholo had no justification to conceed those 2 cheap 2nd half goals whereas manu's change of formation by playing 4 strikers at once therebyexposing our midfield for the brazilians spoilt everything. given the chance again the best result the brazilians would get is a draw. i believe 100% in this team

A forward can play basically anywhere in the oppositions area.He can be a Winger, SS, CF, false 9.You said that Neymar or Ronaldo should be likened to Aguero, Kane, Costa which is totally wrong.These players are their team's main strikers.Mind you, Messi is also listed as a Forward by Wikipedia.
