The post by the author of the thread rather seems confusing.

However, meaning that the Word of God tells us that it is appointed for men to die only once, and after which comes judgment does not mean Jesus does not have all power and his authority to raise the dead from *sleeping* so they could live and die 'the second time' for judgment.

Remember? As soon as Jesus passed out and died on the cross, those who *slept* In the graves came back to life and went into Jerusalem to testify.

Have in mind that, when the Bible says *sleeping*, it also refers to being *dead*. Literally, the Bible uses the word *sleep* for those who are *dead*, because such dead persons are not all totally dead. Souls of such dead persons are somewhere beyond or between eternity[heaven or hell] before the resurrection.

The Bible does not contradict its sayings, only that we need the wisdom from God to understand His word and His ways.

You can only confuse yourself. Not me.
