There is certainly a limit to what one can take all in the name of love. Some people are good at taking advantage of other people's meekness and humility. But i know that it would get to a point where the person will understand that he or she is being taken for granted and buckle up. @topic, it's both ways. 2 Likes |

Owerri was practically shut down! The roads were blocked by armed police men. We were in a traffic hold-up for hours on end trying to leave the town. I must be a governor o so that i can shut down the state for my daughter's wedding.  HML to them. 1 Like |

ogawisdom:Please, is a divorced man equally not a good candidate for marriage?  Op, find out why she's a divorcee and know if you can still go ahead and marry her. You met hubby in September and by December, you were married. You didn't take time to know who he really is. Your various topics were centred on difference in culture and all that yet you were quick to marry him in less than 4 months. Please obey him o. If you had taken time to date him, you would have found out that he is someone that likes to be obeyed and as such you would have decided whether to go ahead and marry him or not. My mum's church member who has been married for about 10yrs with 6 children called her the other day weeping! Her husband had once again beaten her to a pulp. The guy claims to be a pastor and usually goes for some "camp meeting" with some of his colleagues. One of them a female. According to the lady, whenever hubby went for that supposed "camp meeting", he would come back a "changed man". Pick quarrels and beat the woman up. (I know sha that the woman's got a sharp mouth  ).She wept bitterly the day she called my mum, narrating a lot of things. She wept! She said she was tired of the beatings,the infidelity,the verbal and emotional abuse to the extent of saying she bore him 6 useless children! At the end of the day, my mum asked her where she intended to start from with 6 kids and her meager salary which the government doesn't even pay as at when due. Bottom line, stay and endure. It will pass. I was shocked and dumbfounded. The woman is still there with her kids enduring till death do them part. |
