queenfav:I have always told people, you buy anything from any online stores with no office in Nigeria you are OYO citizen. I am not desuading you not to buy but when you are confronted with issues in the hands of customs by then you will know kpuff kpuff can most times be better than bread. Nobody that does not like to buy the cheapest thing from abroad but custom duty is always there and it is compulsory because of international trade. Most of these guys are even evading the duties placed on most of these goods that's why when they are cut they pay heavily or the goods is seized completely, so I still prefer to buy from jumia because they have sorting hub in international Airport where they settle their differences and custom duties with custom. Let Aliexpress have an office in Nigeria that will not be too much for them to do because of the huge market in Nigeria and that will go along way to curb most of these bad esperiences |

We can still do some calculation. A civil servant who receives 30k a month, in a year he receives 360,000. In his 35 years of service he receives 12,600,000. And one think this civil servant can even build one bedroom bungalow coupled with the huge family he is taking care of., I beg make una reasons well who nor fit reasons make e shut up. . This 12,600,000 is equivalent to half of what a senator collect a month and you want to justify that. In exchange rate That monthly money is not up to 100dallars couple with hyper inflation we have in the country. I beg make una park far. The 30k is not enough and people are saying they should reduce it. Thunder wen go fire them is doing press-up in Sambisa forest. |

Check out ten ways that you may be accidentally damaging your smartphone, and figure out a few ways to stop the bumps and bruises before they result in a broken phone. #1. Installing malware One of the biggest misconceptions about smartphones is that you don’t have to worry about security with them nearly as much as you do with your computer. But that’s a myth, and downloading apps at random without doing your research is a great way to end up with malware on your device, according to www.cheatsheet.com. Avoid downloading apps from third-party stores or clicking download links on suspicious websites, even if they show the icon and name of an app you think you can trust. #2. Leaving your phone plugged in It may not really be a problem to leave your phone plugged in for a couple of hours once it is charged completely, since devices can limit the power being transferred to the battery once that battery is fully charged. But there is no benefit to continue to charge your phone after the battery reaches 100 per cent; leaving the device plugged in for long periods of time can generate excess heat and damage your phone. Another great way to damage your phone as you charge it is leaving the device plugged in when it is tucked under your pillow or even just sitting on top of your mattress. A smartphone heats up as it is charging, and if you don’t place it somewhere where that heat can dissipate, it can overheat. #3. Allowing your phone to overheat Speaking of overheating, your phone doesn’t have to be plugged in for the device to get too hot. It is relatively easy for your phone to overheat in strong sunlight. And in some cases, a phone can get hot enough to shut down when left in direct sunlight, even in an air-conditioned room. The problem there is that excessive heat can damage the battery. So, shielding your phone from the sun, turning it off if you have to leave it in a hot car, and otherwise keeping your device at a comfortable temperature is a good idea to prevent accidental damage. #4. Dropping your phone, even if it’s in a case A case won’t prevent you from dropping your phone (or knocking it off your desk or counter), and a drop can still damage your phone. Even if you don’t immediately see a shattered screen or a dented corner, it’s still possible that a fall has weakened your phone’s casing or damaged something inside the device. If you routinely drop your phone, the repeated impacts may be doing more damage than you think. #5. Exposing your phone to liquids Plenty of smartphones aren’t made to stand up to use in a rainstorm, and you should probably prevent yours from getting splashed at the pool. But even encounters that seem innocuous can do damage to your phone, like setting it down on top of a wet bath towel. Your phone may incur damage when you use it with wet hands in the bathtub — even if you manage to avoid dropping it into the water. #6. Keeping your phone on 24/7 Just like you turn your computer off when you aren’t using it, it is a good idea to shut your phone down at least occasionally to give it a rest. Leaving your phone on all the time burns through the life expectancy of its components more quickly than you would by shutting it off every occasionally. Regularly shutting down your device, or even simply rebooting it, will help ensure that caches are cleared and that everything is running smoothly. #7 Leaving your phone on the couch (or keeping it in your pocket) Leaving your smartphone on the couch can be a bad idea. When you’re watching a game or just engrossed in a movie, it is easy to forget that your phone is sitting right next to you, just waiting to be dropped on the floor when you jump up (either for a popcorn break or to celebrate a goal). Even accidentally sitting on your phone can damage it. The same argument could be made to advocate against keeping your phone in your pocket. If you repeatedly sit on your phone or routinely find it falling out of your pocket and clattering to the ground, then you should probably consider your habits. #8. Filling up your phone's storage. Keeping your phone packed full of apps and data will slow it down. And of course, if the memory is full, you won’t have any room to download a new app or store a new video. Deleting apps, browser data, and unused media can all help keep your phone performing well; avoiding the temptation to overload the memory will save you the frustration of the constant struggle for space. #9. Being careless about plugging your phone into the charger. Being careless about plugging your phone in to its charger is a great way to end up with a damaged port. Being rough or careless when you’re plugging your phone in is always a bad idea, since tiny ports are easy to ruin and major force is never necessary. From a scratched phone to a broken port, the outcome when you force the cable is never good. #10. Using different phone accessories other than the manufacturer's Do you know using different accessories like earpiece, chargers, pouch etc you are probably damaging your phone. Reason that no amount of fit the accessories may be, it cannot be 100% compatible with the phone you are using it on. Like chargers that has different volt. You can't use 5volt charger for 3volt and expect it to charge without being hot. |

Things You Probably Didn't Know You Can Do With Your Whatsapp Did you know you could pin your important chats on the top in WhatsApp? Alternatively, that you can read WhatsApp message without informing the sender? Like these, there are several other nifty features/tricks/tips that can change the way you use the world’s most popular instant messaging app, according to www.gadgetsnow.com. Here is a list of the tricks #1. Read WhatsApp message without informing the sender To do this, scroll down to the notification plan and enable the flight mode on the smartphone. Once done, just open the WhatsApp chat and read the message. After reading the message, make sure that you close the app from the multi window so that it does not run in the background and synchronise you when online. After the complete process, remove the phone from flight mode. #2. Share your live location After rolling our live location sharing on Messenger, Facebook rolled out the feature on WhatsApp too. Once you share your live location with someone, he or she would be able to track wherever you go for the period you select. The three periods that can be selected are 15 minutes, one hour and eight hours. To share your live location, open WhatsApp, tap on the ‘Attachment’ icon on the typing space bar and select ‘Location.’ Once you do this, you’ll get two options – ‘Share live location,’ and ‘Send your current location.’ Tap on the former option and select the period. #3 ‘Unsend’ messages Did you just send a wrong message to the wrong person on WhatsApp? You needn’t panic. There is still a way to delete it. Just select the message and press ‘Delete’ on the top bar which has other options like reply, mark star, copy, forward and information. Once you press ‘Delete,’ you’ll get two options – ‘Delete for me’ and ‘Delete for everyone’. Select the second one so that the recipient cannot read the message that you mistakenly sent them. However, you only get seven minutes to delete the message after you have sent it. #4. Pin your chats There are times when you want your most important chats on the top of your conversation list. Scrolling down through scores of messages to find that chat can be tedious. Not anymore. In a recent update, WhatsApp added this function. To pin a contact to the top of the list, you have to long press on the chat from that person and then press the ‘pin icon’ that appears right next to delete, mute and archive icons on the top of the page. As of now, only three contacts can be pinned to place them on top of the conversation list. #5. Create GIFs You can even create GIFS within WhatsApp and send it to your friends using videos that are saved on your smartphone. Open the WhatsApp chat of the contact whom you want to send the GIF to. Click on the attach icon > Select Gallery > Go to videos. Select the video you wish to create in a GIF from. As soon as you do this, it will open up in the video editing section of WhatsApp. Here, you have to adjust the length of the video to six seconds or less, as WhatsApp does not support longer GIFS. Once the video length is less than six seconds, the option of converting it to a GIF will appear as a slider on top right. Now all you need to do is take the slider towards GIF, and you’re set. #6. Editing images What you can do here is doodle on pictures, and add text and emoticons on them before sending. Select attach > Go to gallery > Select the image you wish to share. Once you do this, the image will open in WhatsApp’s photo editor. On top right, you’ll see options of adding text, emoticons and doodle. You can resize and change colours of all three once you add them to your image. #7. Format text You can bold text on WhatsApp by starting it and following it with an asterisk ‘*’. Similarly, for italics, make sure the text is preceded and followed by an underscore sign ‘_’. You can also make your text appear struck off with Strikethrough. For that precede and follow it with tilde ‘~’. #8. Chat in different languages English is not the only language in which you can communicate on WhatsApp. If you ever want to type in a different language, open WhatsApp > Go to Settings > Select Chats > Click on App Language. You can then pick the language you wish to type in. Add conversation shortcuts Rather than opening WhatsApp and going to the chat of your favourite friend each time you want to talk to them, you can add a conversation shortcut on your home screen. Just long press on the conversation, click on three dot on top of the page and click ‘Add chat shortcut’. #9. Customise notifications WhatsApp can send you customised notifications contacts. Open the contact you wish to customise notifications for, click on the top bar, and select ‘Custom Notifications’. #10. Suicide hotline numbers WhatsApp actually has suicide hotline numbers. Just go to Settings > Help > FAQ > Security and Privacy. The second last option in the list that will drop down is ‘Global Suicide Hotline Resources.’ #11. Find out when your message has been read If you want to know if someone has not read your message or they are simply ignoring you, just long press on the message you have sent and then select information icon ‘i’ on the top bar. You will get to know if your message has been read or not. However, you can only know the exact time your message has been read if the person does not turn read receipts and last seen off. #12. Turn off read receipts Chances are you already know about this one. You can turn off read receipts on WhatsApp by going to Settings > Selecting Account > Clicking on Privacy and then deselecting Read receipts. #13. Turn off last seen Do you feel that people getting to know when you last opened your WhatsApp is intrusive? You will be happy to know that WhatsApp lets you change that. Just go to Settings > Select Account > Click on Privacy > Choose Last Seen and then select the most suitable option. #14. Switch off media auto-download Almost on a daily basis, you perhaps receive a multitude of photos and videos on WhatsApp — half of them are actually not needed. You can manage what is downloaded out of all those “Good Morning, have a nice day” type of pictures and videos that you get on a regular basis. Open WhatsApp, make sure you are seeing the main window – where all your chats are displayed. Tap the three vertical dots on the top right > Settings. Now tap Chat settings > Media auto-download. You will see three options: When using cellular data, When connected on Wi-Fi and When roaming. Tap each one and disable auto-downloads by unchecking all three options – Images, Audio and Video. |
