I intend traveling from the South(Edo) to Abuja I understand lokoja flood is a no go area. So how do I pass lokoja.
Is the flood in lokoja okey to go through by now, today is Thursday 06/10/2022(is the water level reduced by now)?. I really need to travel to Abuja.

Most people complaining of teachers been wicked to them, I tell you those teachers and disciplinarian were your saving grace who molded your life for the better. If not most of you would have been wayward!

In Nigeria civil service, it is expected that promotion is based on certain/defined criteria which should include: qualification/experience, age, years in service, promotion exam merit etc. One can't tell which criteria should come first.
However, in Nigeria in most cases "FEDERAL CHARACTER" is included. Federal character in this context is when a populous region(major ethnic group) is given higher slot or consideration undermining all other criteria for promotion.
The only recent criteria which can undermine the federal character and other promotion criteria is the "HIGHEST BIDDER". Highest bidder in this wise is the worker who has the influence to pay more in monetary terms to have his promotion. This is also very rampant during recruitment into Nigeria civil service,were you hear junior officers paying between 250k to 500k and the senior from level 8 paying 500k and above. Only God will rescue us from this menace called corruption in Nigeria.
A recent promotion released in Nigeria security and civil defense corps under the ministry of interior, is a case study. A 2014 was denied promotion but 2018 was promoted. One will ask what criterias were used or should it be that the 2014 failed giving room for the 2018 to be promoted considering the vacancies. Alas! It wasn't base on the failure but the 2018 was the highest bidder. This is one of the reasons you see some civil servants spending 10 years even more on one grade level, at the end you expect indiscipline not to be the order of the day? Like the case study don't expect the 2014 to complement(respect) the 2018. The performance efficiency will certainly be zero because of the demoralization. This issue cut across all stata of the civil service.

If you are affected in promotion with this same thing were your junior(subordinate) is promoted above you, share your experiences and ways if any of how you overcame it.

I had that issue also in the morning, but i didn't upgrade anything i just left facebook since then, this afternoon i tried it again and it's working normally like before.

The issue was fixed, those solutions above didn't really help but rather fix by fb engineer

Mine is now going smoothly than before.

It is up and running I just check mine.

When I was earning lesser than that figure, I don't eat out, no visitation whatsoever, funny enough, I had an unusual but understanding woman who still support me in her own little way, bought food (wholesale) on credit and this was due to my reputation of paying once I receive my salary, search around the neighborhood to see if there's anyone in need of cleaning services or home lessons and at the end of the day, the son of man was able to save 5k every month from the meagre salary.

Salary as at then was 20,000
I had gone 4 months receiving that before I got a side hustle of 10,000.

We need to face reality of life not only in Nigeria but other places around the world, we should know in American dollars don't grow on tree, people work hard to earn it. What most Nigeria avoid to do here when they jet out they involve in all kinds of maniac job.
When I was growing up my dad always tell me then that in INdia there are professors doing maniac work I thought then it was a lie till I read books on it. The reality is you having professorship does not exclude you from hassling unless you want to die of hunger.

I went to the bank to complain, I was giving one week but at the end of the day it turned out to be 3weeks. This really scattered my whole plan but thank God the money was returned to my acc.
