Sorry......I have been away for couple of days.
Answering your second question, please add the available birth certificates.

That first question pass me o,na for gurus but I think those documents can show how well established the family is and adding them is not a red flag ,yet I don't know how relevant they are since dad is not sponsoring. But I'm of the opinion; documents no dey too plenti.

Let's wait for the guru's.

Thank you

Since he isn't your sponsor, there is no point submitting those documents..

If I may ask, why didn't you use your Dad as your sponsor though?
All those company documents of your Dad you mentioned are valid documents required from a sponsor..

You have your reasons why you didn't use your Dad as your sponsor, but truth be told, parents are strongest and most preferred candidates of being a sponsor..

PEACE

Thank, I appreciate this

Hello guys,

Please I need your help! A sister of mine got her medical request on the 21st of July, her effort to book assessment with IOM Lagos or Q-life has been futile so far as they don't have time slot within the 30 days expiry period set on the medical request letter. She has about 23 more days till the request expires.

Is there a way she can get the medical done without going through the online booking system? If there is, please how can she go about it? If not, what can she do to maybe get the due date extended and how?

Thanks in advance for your help.

#VictoryIsFromGodAlone

She should mail one of the doctors with proofs, explaining her issue.

I got my medicals rescheduled from September 2nd to August 10th after doing this.

Hello Kriptune,

you stated your Dad isnt funding your education, does that mean he isnt your sponsor?

Your response will determine how I will address your initial post....

undergrad may not work. it is not logical for any employer to give you study leave for more than 1 year if you ask me

In that case is there need to submit resignation letter through webform?

I submitted employment letter that didn’t state when employment ends, worker’s id (didn’t have an expiry date)
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Kriptune: 6:12pm On Jul 26, 2021

this may be a red flag. i may be wrong. so while you are studying, and probably working in canada for 20 hours, you will still have an obligation to your employer here. i mean, its abit off. if you did not get a study leave, the alternative is to prove how you can easily reintegrate when you get back or your employer even writing that they will be willing to give you your job back or something.

Does one going for undergraduate Studies need to show proof of study leave too?

Thank you very much.

To support my family ties, I wanted to send my dad’s old contract award letter with the state government, his company’s CAC and the particulars of directors to prove he owns the company and has handled a top government contract, meanwhile this is the same company where I work and My dad isn’t funding my education. Will this raise a red flag?

Secondly, I want to attach birth certificates of my siblings, but not all are available. Should I go ahead with the ones I have or just skip this.

So many things can serve as home tie; Immediate family, present job, business, community involvement, establishment and properties. Whichever out of the aforementioned should be fleshed in the SOP. In your case, it's family and it's good.

Secondly, the english proficiency letter and a well constructed letter of explanation stating why the requested IELTS wasn't submitted will definitely do.

I wish you the very best, it will end in praise.

Thank you very much.

I would suggest that you go to where you booked the medicals, explain your situation and find out whether they can accommodate you before your booked date. Who knows, you might be in luck.

Hope this helps.

Thank you

Congratulations. Good to still see you here, your story is inspiring.

I’ve got a question. I was able to book Medicals for September 2nd, heard about the upfront medicals late.

Is there a way I can get to do medicals without waiting till September if I’m yet to get the medical request.

Really want to do it ASAP

My school (university of Manitoba) does not require that I pay my fees before issuing unconditional admission letter.

So I didn’t submit any receipt of fee payment for my study application. Is this a red flag?

Pls gurus in the house how does one tackle these issues. What document does one need to submit to meet these criteria

We can say you will get your decision before your resumption and you wont. Even those that applied before May 15, not sure they will fulfil their promise to grant decisions before August 6th.

Some of us have been waiting since March, mine April. While some applied in May and got their decisions before us.

This breakfast, it will reach most of us but you have to have a hard mind. You may defer once you are sure you can’t meet the deadline. Check your acceptance if there’s a deadline to turn in your study permit approval.

Good luck!

What is the right thing to do if one can’t secure visa before resumption date

Yes first and 2nd dose. Once you get the first dose of the vaccine, you can only get 2nd dose after 6-8 weeks from first dose

Thanks for the insight, and I guess they give a proof one can show to proof he got vaccinated

I tried getting vaccinated today in Warri, all the centers said vaccine isn’t available until August.

Meanwhile I want to be clear, does the vaccine have stages? Cos I keep hearing ‘fully vaccinated’

If you really want to know what is going on with your application, then request for your notes.

My candid advice regarding medical request, don't wait for it! Book for an upfront medical!

I just booked upfront medicals. Am I expected to print out the booking form? Considering I did it with my phone.

Meanwhile, what else am I supposed to go with. I’m guessing the IME form they mentioned is the medical request, since it’s upfront I don’t have that yet.

Anything else? Just trying to check all boxes

No specific period but some people request for their notes when their application have passed processing time, some when they are refused to see how their application went and what to do differently.

I will advice you don't request for your notes too early so your notes won't come back empty especially if your eligibility review hasn't started but then we have seen people who gets PPR without eligibility changing, so, there is really no time to point out.

Is it advisable for one that hasn’t been invited for medicals and hasn’t done an upfront medical to request for gcms?

I specifically ordered it to know what the VO is saying about my application but unfortunately I can't find any comment. Can anyone help with the exact part where I can find their comments?
