The members of Npower volunteer group Lagos chapter has decided to take to the street of Lagos on 9th of January 2017 to carry out a peaceful protest against the Lagos state government over the oblivious state the government has kept them.

This become necessary as the Governor of the state Akiwumi Ambode refuse to sign the memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will authorise the verification process to kick off. The focal person in charge of the state was contacted and she confirmed that the verification cannot be carried out without the approval of the state government.

Members of the volunteer said they want to use this medium to appeal to the Lagos State Government under the direct leadership of Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode to kindly approve the commencement of the verification exercise so as not to deny the timid unemployed Lagos graduates this one-time opportunity.
