Hi guys, I was in the US from September 2016 to February 2017 spending almost 5 months after my passport was stamped for the standard 6 months even though I said I was staying for about a month. I plan to travel this year with my wife and son. Any suggestions as to what to expect from POE regarding my long stay last time? Thanks |

Hi guys, My sukam inverter (2.4kva) of less than 2 years gets fully charged in about 30mins and gets batteries (2x100ah) gets depleted when in use in less than an hour even with minimal load.. I already spent 11k as I assumed I was scammed for fixing the charging element of inverter. Can you advise me please? Thanks |

I just checked mine as well... Closed and refused, 15 weeks I think...No medical call.. Lost interest after my observations and michV's informed analysis. Happy I didn't wait for their refusal but chose to buy my ticket to travel to the US this weekend for other personal stuff rather than wait for them. Reasons : Purpose of visit Current employment situation. I just checked my cic account now.....LO and BEHOLD "CLOSED AND REFUSED" I saw it coming anyway. so the jokes are on CIC.[/quote] |

michV: Wow! I'm indeed astounded, you recall my comment and when I made it. Now I believe as you stated that you sift through every comment... This attribute is indeed graceful! I eventually noticed that the update had to do with my biometric.. Noticed it was updated that day after lose to 3 months. I haven't given up hope, just trying to forge ahead with other things. This whole process has a way of freezing ones attention . Thanks a lot bro. 2 Likes |

Questions guys.. Kindly assist. I am yet to be contacted for medicals, by the look of things I will have to defer my admission to September 2017 if everything falls in place. If the study permit is issued now, will it still be valid for the programme next year? I will be traveling to the US in a fortnight, if I get a medical mail while I'm away in the US, how do I go about the medicals? Can I do it in the US? Thanks |

Not paid but diligently carries out his self imposed duty and to crown it all, the very first pgc/d I have seen since I joined. Pgc/d applications were written off several times, people gave up hope but your light continued to shine! Congratulations brother and may God answer our yearnings too. 14 Likes |

"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information." Message I got from cic this afternoon, I signed in, didn't find a message. I applied June 1, no upfront medical or medical call. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have an idea what's up? Thanks |

isijyne: If you have been following the thread, I guess there's hardly anything you can do but wait. I guess you are probably in the certificate /pgd category and such applications have been experiencing delays. I'm 3 months gone as well, I have written accra immigration. They responded that my application is in queue.. 1 Like |

emma4eva: From obalende, ask around for how to link alagbon. It's about 5mims or less from there. Cost: may vary depending on whom you approach and bargaining power. I did mine for 7k, I know people that have done for 10k, 12k. With the NPF it's difficult to get a straight forward official channel. |

stillo209: You will have to email your school to find out if there is January opening for your programme. Deferrals for most schools will only be declined after you have had two previous deferrals. |
