@Ayettymama, It might interest u 2 know that i travel whenever I wish cos out of d six of us in d family, three live in europe while one live in australia. They're all doing very good yet u dare not hear them brag about just being in d overseas. U know why? Cos they know they'll be doing as much good if they're still in naija. They rather brag about those doing well in naija. Afterall d kinda comfort u have in d overseas can be bought with money in naija. If u dont know ask. So i wonder why u should brag about d overseas.

Mrbrownjay, i aint got nothing wrong with nigerians in "the west". If u, just cos u're in d west should brag about being there, calling ppl in naija fools, dumbass, crude, etc cos they said their opinion (which u dont agree with) on something, then check urself again. If u think u're opinion counts more than theirs cos u're in d west & living d good life, then it'll interest u to know that some nigerians are living d american dream (even bigger than it) in nigeria!

I cant seem to understand why nairalanders overseas, especially d girls, brag a lot. I've read a lot of "thats because u've never stepped out of d shores of nigeria, thats y u sound dumb" and even worse comments. What makes u think u're better than ur nigerian counterparts? Believe me, some nigerians who's never stepped outta d shores of dis country are 10 times 4kin richer than u are; even richer than ur parents! They've even got stuffs u see only in ur dreams.

I've had cases when ppl say they're few weeks pregnant (carrying an unborn young in their womb for few weeks) & they run home tellin their husbands happily. Is it alive then? So my dear sis, if u think its not alive, leave it and see whether it will grow or not(afterall living things grow).

There are far more important things to brag about than a language that doesnt belong to u. FYI, we learn d english language so as to communicate with d different tribes in d country, not to be perfect with it (u need to go to france or germany; even australia). So u know, i have five siblings - three in europe & one in australia - and they're doin extremely fine. I & my other sibling down here are doin fine on our own too. So dont brag about being in d overseas (i have a feelin thats d next thing u'll brag about). I know d mind of kids.
