He went to school in Nigeria for less than 10k then got to America and found out 95% of Americans can't even afford to pay tuition fee from their pockets. He didn't pay a single personal income tax or any tax whatsoever when he was in Nigeria but insist that Nigerian government must give him good roads, light, water and free money. My online brothers and sisters, help me thank God for preserving my life as I almost left this wicked world last Friday, 13th January, 2023. 13th January has become a day I will never forget in life. Since I graduated from the university, I am yet to get a job that is well-deserving of my status. I'm not talking about big jobs with heavy remuneration (not as though I won't grab it if I see one of such) but just something to earn a living from. The last salaried job I did was a contract job which lasted only 6 months. Since then, despite my efforts, applying to every nook and cranny to land a job, I have been unlucky. However, I still keep hope alive.

However, it makes me think Nigeria really need to redefine and re-axamine the value of education in the country and what it stands for. Does it stand for nation building or for frustration? That is something for another day BTW.

Back to the topic, so with a woman and two kids to take care of, I had to go do labourer job at a construction site to earn something. That Friday was my second day in the place. I never thought it would end in disaster but I thank God that even after falling from such a distance, I didn't die, neither the mason man that was on the scaffold.

The thing is that I was carrying mortar and blocks to the mason, climbing using ladder. You know this local scaffold builders use. That thing they nailed together as V 'abi' L, place them on the wall and put planks on top to stand on. I don't know what happened that the blocks put at one end to weigh its balance failed while I was already up there. Long story short, everything collapsed and that was how we landed on the ground from the finishing end of the building. It should be a distance of 12 feet or more.

What worsened the case was the mason. As the scaffold collapsed, he immediately and unconsciously grabbed the newly laid blocks in safety attempt, not remembering he just laid those blocks. You know that kind thing. Landing on ground, that was how those blocks came upon us in their number like some sort of blast. To top it all, I didn't earn a penny that day. The man is even blaming us for the collapse.

I sustained injuries but my waist especially seems to have dislocated as a result of hitting it on ground while landin. I have been feeling sharp pains from the inside since then.

Since that Friday, I have been down physically and psychologically. As I am reflecting on it today, I decided to write it down.

No matter how it has affected me, physically, psychologically, economically and health-wise, I still thank God for sparing my life and I want you to join me in thanking him.

I wont discourage any body not to travel abroad at all, just be ready to start from the scratch and hustle ur way up. Abroad is not easy as portrayed on social media, the hustle is very real.

The person u stay with when u arrive will determine how far you will go. Your circle of friends also plays a big role.

Okay so I just moved from Chicago Illinois to Kentucky where I presently live.
America is a gun violent country if u go out, just have it at the back of ur mind that anything related to shooting can happen at anytime.
Almost everybody have guns here a 16 years old kid can go buy gun if they so wish to and ain't nobody is going to stop them and that's just the Sad part about it

As a sharp guy u just gats dey on alert 24/7.
I would say Kentucky is more peaceful than Illinois when it comes to gun violence. But hey.. u never know what might happen.
In America u hardly walk on foot unless u decide to go for a walk or a shot exercise or u going shopping in places like Walmart or Kroger or target. Best buy or the hardware store etc. That's when u see people walking around basically, everybody is always in their car driving nobody dey walk. Here for America u fit dey live for one particular location for like 4 to 5 years and u don't know who ur next door neighbor is cause everybody dey mind their business infact u go hardly hear noise even ur music self no suppose disturb the next person. America their way of life different that's why I miss 9ja where u go dey see okada or danfo.. noise everywhere even their be here na low-key type..
Sometimes it's like a depressing kind of lifestyle but for me I know my ways and I know how to make my day worthwhile for me na u go always create ur own fun if u get what I mean..

Na just work work spend then save the small one u fit.
But anyways it's a whole new experience and a way of life and u get use to it with time..

Me self don dey take gun shooting classes for target accuracy, I go soon go buy my own gun for protection. U never can tell what can happen and time

In my 7 years in america I have NEVER heard a gun shot before. It's very important that u watch your every move when going out especially at night. There are some places I dont go to no matter what, also I dont buy gas at night I buy my gas during the day and strategic gas stations. U see those shell, citgo etc I dont go there lai lai.

Timaya manager was killed at a gas station also last week a pastor son was shot and killed at a gas station.

Most companies are moving to the cloud and seeking professionals to migrate and manage, either AWS, AZURE OR GCP. you can never go wrong with both Cyber security and cloud computing. So painful..I cried my eyes out yesterday, have been going for this particular interview since last month, I have been called to that place like 7times in wuse2, from one stage to another. The secretary called me on Wednesday that madam will like to see me,she assured me to get prepared for medicals and all...she told me to be there by 10:00am, I came and was told to wait till 3:00pm before I could see her, of course I patiently waited for her..las las I no get the job didn't know when tears effortlessly flow down from my eyes...I stood there and taught about soooo many things ranging from the transportation I have spent on this particular interview alone ... I kept singing not to break down on the road.
