Divorce has been filed. I got lucky as I was able to secure a restraining order when she messed up again and hit me daring me to do my worst. I called the police and made a proper case and she was arrested. She has been banned from the house for a month. The police advised me to talk to my lawyer and extend indefinitely if ai want. If you are based in America, you probably don't know how the system work to keep people down. In Nigeria, at least back in the days, I know kids who were from the slums but attended the same public schools with kids of fairly well to do families. Education is not the sole determinant of whether you will be successful in life or not, neither is it poor or rich parental background. If you are brainy kid from a poor home back in the days when Nigeria wasn't has terrible, and you went to public school, maintaining a network of school friends from middleclass home is enough. In America, it does not work that way. Where you live is what will determine and shape your future. Your only option is that runned down public school where all the kids are from lower class poor families. You have no chance to breakaway from that environment. It's like being condemned for life.

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery.. There is no system to keep anybody down in america it's just the phrase the black uses to get solidarity for their bad and lazy lifestyle.. You got schools paid for by government 100%. You got college loans setup if you want to attend college.

so what excuse does anyone have at this point. There is even section 8 for housing and food stamp for feeding every month provided by the government. Those clowns are overfed babies.

I am connecting with your story, because am going through stuff at the moment and I know how it feels to be abandoned by family and friends. Am married with 2 kid but it hasn't been easy since hubby lost his job. Being owed salaries for months now with no assistance from family. One major mistake I try to always avoid here is that of insincerity.

I learnt its even a crime here.
How then can I fill to have job experiences in America when I'm barely a month here.

In my resume, I had to neatly put in all relevant job experiences I had in Nigeria, together with the company names and even addresses.

I wouldn't want to shoot myself on the foot, it doesn't pay.
