It seems at least some in this country take domestic violence/violence against women seriously.

Nigerian vs. Ghana in the Human Development Index rankings:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African_countries_by_Human_Development_Index

Also...

Reminder that this is the same Twitter whose CEO (Jack Dorsey) Garba tried to sue for $1 billion due to said CEO's support for #Endsars.

So why would something THEY SUPPORTED supposedly cause them to abandon Nigeriahuh?

plaindealer:
Google is the richest, the most powerful TECH conglomerate in the world, $1.3 Trillion market value/
Small correction...

That would be Apple, valued at over 2 trillion.

Next would be Amazon and Microsoft, both before Google.
PoliticsRe: Lai Mohammed: Brands Running Adverts On CNN, Others To Pay ₦100,000 Fine by KRSWon: 10:46am On Mar 30, 2021
This reminds me of when Desmond Elliot wanted to ban foreign movies to boost Nollywood, with Nollywood's limited genres, plots/storylines and production values.

Personally, as a fan of science fiction movies and TV shows, this would have been dire.

Protectionism simply doesn't work, period.

You let emotion becloud your sense of reasoning.... Who is buying Dangote cement in USA? As far as I am concerned, the major market of Guinness is Nigeria...
Guinness is an Irish brewing company, headquartered in Ireland, owned by an English beverage company, and founded by an Irish man, that successfully markets their products throughout the entire world, being especially popular in the US.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinness

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guinness_Brewery

They might appear to be Nigerian primarily simply due to a branch set up here, major success (but not the largest) and their investment in the country.

Is that what he's saying?
PoliticsDid The Defense Minister Not Say That Citizens Should Defend Themselves? So ESN? by KRSWon(op): 8:38am On Feb 19, 2021
Did the defense minister not say that civilians should do HIS job and defend themselves (calling us cowards for not doing so)? So why is the military attacking ESN?

Isn't ESN EXACTLY what Mr. Magashi wanted?

And what about the bandits/herdsmen that ESN were fighting?

The same bandits/herdsmen that have been slaughtering villagers en masse, occupying their land, destroying their property, and kidnapping children?
