i'm planing to travel to dubai through a travel agent. i have Ond in elect elect engineering and three years work experience with a multinational company here in nigeria. going through this thread i've come to realise that Authentication of results before travelling is vital. the agent said i don't need to authenticate that he'll provide a craft certification for me which i don't really understand, i have a feeling he's sugarcoating everything so i need your input guys.

Well, at UAE emabassy the lady at the reception asked me to pay 18k per document.
When i got to payment section, the Nigerian lady there said its 19k and asked me to transfer to one account .
We ll, i reported back to the Arab lady and she was shocked. I had to calm her so that a scene will not happen at the embassy.

So the extra cash made at payment section is a fraudulent charge.

The mistake at uae is that, they should have provided a slip to pay exact 18k per document, it makes it easier that way.

Our people will say how much is this 2k extra that this man is fighting for..... I rest my case.

They refused to auntheticate my M. Sc attestation letter. except i send original transcripts to their office at Abuja from school.
I have done only waec and B. Sc.

Do you have to collect the eligibility letter before going to foreign affairs ministry or after going to the moe, you head straight to the mofa and collect the eligibility letter from moe after 2 days.

Thanks a lot have seen number of days. Our main problem is his ND certificate is not ready. He applied since and the are yet to process it. He has HND certificate but they refused to give eligibility letter without ND certificate. He actually has the statement of result for the ND. Feeling really bad about the whole situation. Any suggestions on how to solve the issue will be appreciated!

Pls I'm want to attest my degree cert but it is a 3rd class will it be attested to at the moe. Mofa and uae embassy and can i get a job in dubai, i have certifications in hsc, hrm amd pmp.
And i am currently doing ACCA.

Attestation has nothing do with your class of result but make sure you go along with your waec certificate. So you are good to go. Enjoy your day

Yes the Eligibility letter will be authenticated at the UAE embassy too to the best of my knowledge. I stand to be corrected if that has changed. To save cost you can authenticate only your tertiary certificate/s at the UAE embassy. In that case Eligibility + BSc or HND = 38k
If you have MSc try to authenticate both your BSc and MSc too if money dey

Don't listen to your friend, make sure to authenticate your certificate at the UAE embassy in Abuja before you come.

Nigeria or at MOFA in UAE.
