God! Our current team is toothless. We do practically nothing other than pass the ball from side to side. From Ramos to Varane, Varane to Carvajal.. Carvajal back to Varane. Varane to Ramos. Ramos to Nacho - who replaces Marcelo today.

We lack penetration. Our attack poses no threat. Absolutely none at all, except Bale. Bale is the only thing giving me a grain of hope in this team, which is crazy if you consider he's not even in top form.

As if the deficiencies are not enough, our defense is in shambles. Always leaving too many dangerous empty spaces for the opposition to hurt us.

Is this how we're going to win trophies this season, if any at all, judging by this team's performance? For once in a very long time, I look at every fixture and I'm not sure we're gonna win.

Our attack lacks proper bite. Unfortunately, I see us dropping more points. What we currently have in attack is simply not just enough to carry us all the way to the end without major, painful setbacks. Except of course a miracle happens. Mariano maybe, but even that will be the height of wishful thinking.

I'm just happy we didn't lose though. Would have been painful. We worked hard and deserved a win.

Yea it's the late fixture coupled with the fact that the city is usually a ghost-town in August. Many people are on vacation outside the city all all that. Similar happened to Barcelona.

I saw an article about it. The fixture was so late that, the match started on Sunday but when the final whistle was blown, it was already early Monday morning . Many teenagers, people who had work the next day, the elderly, others who felt the timing was inconvenient etc all missed.

A diverse group of people all missed due to the afro-mentioned two factors and it reflected on the empty stadium seats. That's all.


Yes Ronaldo's departure will definitely have an effect on Real Madrid but it will do more so, and probably in gargantuan proportions, on the field of play than on fan-base and value. Real Madrid is not Warri Wolves. We are Real Madrid for a reason.
