OK, I'm a bit free now: I said I would teach the house on 2 major lessons especially from my last trade.

B4 that, I want to inform you that I exited that US$14,900+ profit at US$4,895; I'm a real man here so I have to update you all about the outcome and not just a floating profit; many do this to entice and blow people's mind without any particular lesson to pass across.

Now, I want us to dialogue on what your take is on this trade:
Please take time to look at H4 to see a detailed view of how gold behaved between yesterday and today.
Would you have exited when I was already bagging US$14,000+ or would you have waited like I did and bagged the US$4,895?
Will you be pained for that?
At a point today, price returned from my $14,900+ to entry point (US$0) - see that bearish candle on the 4H. How would you have reacted when you saw this?

Let me hear from you all as we dialogue, then I can discuss the 2 lessons..................................WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE?

I would have used trailing stop loss such that as the profit grows, the stop loss position moves with it. So that in the event of a possible pullbackI,I will only loose small amount of money. I can't afford to give back such amount to the make. It will demoralise me completely.

Health / Is Popcorn A Healthy Snack? by kubusify(f): 9:15pm On Jul 20, 2017
Popcorn is one snack people love to take while watching movies in theaters. Many people take this crunchy snack, but have failed to ask this important question " is popcorn a healthy snack"?.  Popcorn is only healthy depending on how it is prepared. Popcorn is usually made from a grain of corn but some strains called flint corn are specially cultivated as popping corns.

Popcorn was discovered accidentally by a farmer Gonzalo Quádre who left some corn over the heat to dry. Quádre had surplus corn that he decided to dry up some to feed the chickens on his farm. On a summer day, while he was feeding the chickens, he heard a popping sound. As frightened as he was about the sudden noise, he looked down to see a white piece of fluff. Wikipedia.com

What Happens when Corn is Heated.

Popcorn is made with a type of corn that has a strong, hard hull or shell. Inside the shell is a starchy endosphere with 14% -15% moisture which later turn to steem when the kernel is heated. The pressure inside the hull continues building till it exceeds the hull's ability to contain it. The kernel ruptures and explodes, allowing the contents to expand, cool, and finally set in a popcorn puff 20 to 50 times the size of the original kernel.

Popcorn in its natural state  has so many health benefits. However when salt, butter, caramel or other toppings are added to popcorn,  it then moves from the realm of healthy to unhealthy junk food. Basically, popcorn is as healthy as what you add to it. Avoid cooking with vegetable oil or olive oil as these can oxidize and damage the delicate polyphenol antioxidants. Oil can added after popping the corn.

Health / 10 Most Outstanding Health Benefits Of Avocado by kubusify(f): 8:28am On Jun 22, 2017
Avocado (Ube Oyibo)  is one fruit that I enjoy eating whenever it is in season. Apart from the fact that it has great taste, it is also packed with nutrients. It is normally referred to as a super food. Unlike most fruits that contains mainly carbohydrate, avocado is high in healthy fat.Avocados  are also known as Ube Oyibo by the Igbos in Nigeria. It's other name is Alligator Pear, which is mainly due to its shape and the leathery appearance of its skin.

Avocados contain more than  20 essential nutrients which include calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, copper, manganese, phosphorus and zinc. They also contain minerals such as vitamin C, B6, B-12, A, D, K, E, thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin.

Health Benefits of Avocado (ube oyibo)

Avocados are packed with nutrients and are most beneficial when eaten raw  or fresh. Elaborated below are some of the most outstanding health benefits of avocado.

1. Aids in weight loss

If you are trying to loss weight, avocado can be a helpful tool as it contains fibre both soluble and insoluble. Insoluble fibre slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in your body, helping you to feel full for longer time.

Also the oleic acid in avocados activates a part of the brain that makes one feel full. This produces a greater feeling of satiety than less healthy saturated fat and trans fats found in processed foods

2. Protect the Eyes against diseases

Avocado contains antioxidants, Luetin and zeaxanthin, that are important for maintaining good eye health. Studies show that these nutrients are linked to a drastically reduced risk of cataracts and macular degeneration, which are common in the elderly.

Health / Are Genetically Modified Foods (GMO Foods) Safe Or Unsafe? by kubusify(f): 10:52am On Jun 17, 2017
Genetically modified foods are foods whose natural state has been altered by the introduction of genes from other sources. According to the National Library of Medicine (NLM), genetically engineered foods have had foreign genes (genes from other plants or animals) inserted into their genetic codes. This can be done for various reasons ranging from commercial  to research purposes.

For instance anti freeze genes from cold-water fish, the winter flounder (Pseudopleuronectes americanus) have been inserted into tomatoes to develop tomatoes that dose not freeze. Also potatoes that don’t bruise and apples that don’t brown have been developed through genetic engineering by reducing the enzyme levels that cause browning

Health / Can Alkaline Diet Reverse And Prevent Diseases ? by kubusify(f): 12:48pm On Jun 12, 2017
Imagine walking into your doctors office and he hands over a report that says you have a chronic disease. This experience as  traumatic as it can be is not a death sentence as it can still be managed by adopting a healthy lifestyle of  which eating an alkaline diet is part of. An alkaline diet can reverse and prevent diseases naturally.

An alkaline diet can be helpful in reducing morbidity and mortality from numerous chronic diseases and ailments like  hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, vitamin D deficiency, and low bone density etc

Definition of Alkaline Diet

An alkaline diet is one that supports the body to maintain its acid-base balance . The body works assiduously to maintain its pH level which is slightly alkaline at Approximately 7.4. Foods are classified either as alkaline or acidic based on the effect it has on the body after been consumed. This is often different from the food's ash residue or physical chemistry (Gonick HC, et al. Am J Clin Nutr. 1968; (21): 898-903).

According to energiseforlife.com foods like lemons and limes are considered an alkaline food  despite them being acidic in their natural state - due to the very low sugar content but very high alkaline mineral content, they have an alkaline effect on the body ONCE CONSUMED.

Alkaline foods include fresh alkaline vegetables, fruits, low sugar foods, nuts, seeds, salads, sea vegetables, water rich foods etc. Acidic foods include sweets, alcohol, trans fats, meats, dairy , pizza, cola, biscuits, chips, white breads and pastas, refined foods, processed foods etc.

How Alkaline Diet Reverse and Prevent Diseases

An alkaline diet provide the essential minerals required  to eliminate the by product of metabolism which are acidic in nature. Over time there has been a shift away from the consumption of plant based food to that of highly processed  foods bereft of essential nutrients and minerals. This has caused an increase in metabolic acidosis. In other words, the pH levels of many people’s bodies are no longer optimal.

Health / Fasting, The Healthy Way. by kubusify(f): 9:34pm On May 29, 2017
Fasting is an act of abstaining from food, drink, sex or any other thing an individual like for the sake of some spiritual purposes. Major type of fasting commonly practiced is abstinence from food. Apart from religious or spiritual purposes, fasting can also be embarked upon for medical purposes. However before embarking on any fasting process, it is advisable to consult your doctor.

What Happens When you Fast

During the fasting process the body uses up the stored glucose in the liver and muscles to provide energy for the body. Depending on the length of the fast, once the glucose is exhausted fat will be broken down to provide energy for the body. The process of using fat to provide energy for the body in the absence of glucose is called ketosis.

Health Benefits of fasting

Most toxins in the body are stored in the body fat. So during the fasting process when the fats are dissolved, the toxins are removed from the body. Hence, fasting can also be used to detoxify the body. Other benefits of fasting include weights loss but most medical experts agree that fasting is not a healthy weight loss method. According to WebMD. Com"Fasting is not a weight loss tool. Fasting slows your metabolic rate down so your diet from before the fast is even more fattening after you fast," says Joel Fuhrman MD, author of Eat to Live: The Revolutionary Plan for Fast and Sustained Weight Loss and Fasting and Eating for Health.WebMD. com.

According to Courtney Peterson, PHD fasting reduces blood pressure and cholesterol. It also lowers the level of inflammation of the body and put the body in repair mode. Fasting is also associated with the production of antioxidants and enzyme increase that help repair and recycle cells.

Side Effects of Fasting

As good as the various benefits of fasting may sound, it is shocking to note that fasting has some serious side effect if not carried out properly. Many people have lost their lives in the process of fasting. Experts advice the use of water and juices in breaking of fast. This is because during the fasting process the stomach shrinks and become smaller. So food should be reintroduced into the stomach gradually to avoid problems like diarrhea, sickness, fainting or death.

Dr Adeeb Rizvi Head of S.I.U.T civil hospital Karachi, who is a leading kidney specialist has adviced those fasting not to break their fast with cold fizzy drinks like such as Pepsi, coca cola, 7 up etc . He stated that long fasting process causes dehydration of the kidney and so having cold or fizzy drinks may suddenly cause the kidney to fail.

The body gets 20% or more of its water through the food we eat. However during the fasting process the body is denied of this water. One should make up the lost water by drinking lots of water. Avoid breaking your fast with starchy foods like eba, rice, potatoes etc. Also avoid eating meat, dairy products, and fats and oil for sometime. Also the role of good nutrition cannot be overemphasized. Good food rich in carbohydrates, protein and minerals should be consumed in right proportion in order to replenish the lost nutrients during the fast.
