Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I have a quick question: Does anyone have an idea of the typical fees an architect charges for producing drawings for a 3-bedroom terrace house with a BQ? Additionally, what are the standard charges a Quantity Surveyor (QS) might require to cost such a drawing?

All through this pregnancy i was strong except for first trimester.. where i was very weak, sleepy and tired, couldn't eat too. second and third i was very active.

on the 13th of feb i felt some pain at the top of my stomach,it was coming on and off. i told hubby he said it contraction that it usually starts at the top, but my over sabi self told him that i didnt feel it there for my first child....so in the morning it stopped. btw, hubby is a medical Doctor. so in the morning i went to buy the things remaining for baby and ingredients for pepper soup...

At about 3am on 14th of feb ,i was awake surfing the net when i felt contraction (at my lower abdomen) i was like yes! this is the one i know.lol. after some time the pains increased and got up and started arranging my things ,when contraction hits i while run to from my parlour to dinning area, i will dance ,jump, anything just to relieve me....though the contraction was still bearable.

when it was almost 6am i had my bath with very hot water... hubby was on call at the hospital,so i called him to come meet me. when i got there they gave me bed checked me and said i was 4-5cm and the doctor broke my water.... and before i know i started having the urge to poo, a nurse came and check she said i was 8cm, and that she will come back soon....as soon as she left ,i shouted I WANT TO POO OOO. doctors and nurses started flying into the room, within seconds everything was set,the doctor checked and said i was 10cm and i should start pushing at the next contraction.

i pushed some few times and my baby girl came out screaming her lungs out weighing 3.2 kg. then placenta came out..

It wont be a bad idea to start taking dates from now. This is believed to help with Labour and delivery. We can also start cleaning our nipples n areola. You dont want those cuties putting their mouth to those black dirty stuffs. Do all these if it doesnt affect u.

I am so happy at the thought of next month. May it all end in praise for us all. I know some of us will port i forgive you before hand . Just make sure you and baby are fine.

Good morning mamas! Hmm.... Allah gives and Allah takes! Am hurting sisters, am really hurting but who am I to say no when God has decreed a thing.

I went for a second opinion and truly my baby is no more. IUFD(intra uterine fetal death) according to the two scans. Remember when I was 6weeks n went for scan, they said d fetus is sharing same space with a submucous myoma,apparently the fibroid grew big and kind of suffocated the fetus.

Alhamdulillah for the experience,after 8yrs of trying I was able to carry a child in my womb for 19weeks, I know am not barren and this just proves it.

Greater things ahead for me, will look into how to get rid of this fibroid then I will try again, I won't give up. I need all d prayers I can get from u all as I go for evacuation.

I love u all and wish my lovely team mates and all wonderful mama safe delivery. N one will suffer any loss inshaAllah. It's well with u all.

My BS.......
I gave birth to my prince on the 19th of Feb.... all through the pregnancy I didn't have morning sickness, infact I ate so much during my second trimester. then by third trimester heartburn/ acid reflux became my companion.... anything I ate will result in acid reflux.... my dh is a Dr and anytime I complain to him, he will say stop eating the food that triggers it, and I will b so angry cos almost all the food triggers it for me. dats how I started eating early and after every meal I must chew gum....it helped sha.
my edd using my LMP was 21th Feb.... but scan gave me 14th.... waited on d 14th of Feb, no show... I was a little bit disappointed ,cos I wanted to give birth DAT day cos its my mums birthday... I was so lazy to go for walks , but after on the 14th I started going for my evening walks. although, I have been seeing some discharge DAT looks like catarrh ....
Then on the 18th of Feb, I woke up and decided to prepare moimoi after dh has gone to work...while washing the beans I felt something like menstrual cramp and something on my pants, so I went to the bath room to check, only for me to see discharge mixed with blood...at first I was scared and confused but I quickly adjust my self and call dh, he asked if I was having cramps and I said yes, and he said I should start coming to the hospital.... but I remember my moimoi.... lol... I told him I will like to wait a little and if I can't bear it will call him to come pick me...so with the pain I went to grind my beans, came home cooked it and ate ,by then it was 3pm. dh came back from work and took me to the hospital and the nurse on duty checked and said I was 2cm dilated.. so we went home....
At 12:32am DAT night I woke up from sleep with a very sharp menstrual cramp, I woke dh . the pains kept coming and very strong too , then dh said babe u are in labor then I said lets go Na abi Na house I wan born...lol. so off we went to the hospital.on getting there the nurse checked and said I was still 2cm oo DAT I should b walking about, I just told her I can't walk with this pain oo. but later I walked a little and came back to sit down.
mamas, I scream down the hospital.... d pain was something else....I even made friends with a lady , she was in labor too. my dh was on morning shift at the hospital so I was alone till 2pm ,then he came and we walked together, but wen contraction hit me eh I go press e hand e go shout...by 7pm the nurse came to check and I was 7cm dilated. then they fix that drip for me... and I went crazy...... I was shouting.....my dh was rubbing my back cos they told me to lie on my side ,that was how I started shouting It is pushing me oo!!!! my dh will say don't push, after a while I started having the urge to poo.... oya Na come see sh.it, if I p.oo they will clean it, they were even encouraging me to p.oo, and as I dey p.oo I dey feel relief... my dh andd the nurse check and saw d head and they broke my water...and told me to push, mamas, I pushed with all my strength , infact , for me oo d pushing was the easiest part cos when d pain comes and I push I don't feel it . while i was pushing the nurse was telling dh dat i am too tight, dat she has to cut me, na so she cut me ooo. i feel d pain but its nothing compare to wat i have been feeling...lol i pushed with all my strength and the head came out , dh and d nurse told me d head is out but I should still push for the other part of his body to come out... and I wen I finally pushed a couple of times the rest of his body came out. I gave birth to him exactly 8:30pm on the 19th of Feb and he weighs 3.5kg. I was give injection on my thigh and the placenta came out , I was stitched , but didn't feel the pain cos she injected the area.I was just looking at my son and smiling and thanking God.

I thank God for all Feb mamas..... and other mamas I wish u all safe delivery and those TTC God has not forgotten u. this yr is ur yr. Amen.
Thanks to all the mamas that have diary on nairaland, it really kept me busy during my preggy days when I was bored.

Mamas pls pray for me my water broke at 9:45pm US time I got to the hospital at 11:30pm with no contraction . I was induced with pitocin at 4am till 12noon still no regular contraction. They checked me and I was just finger tip dilated now they want to give me a pill cytotec to make me dilate. But I have been given antibiotics to prevent infection since my water has broken for long. @itssettled, realdentist, iyomomoreloaded, jazzyjazz and other mamas pls pray for me. Let my Good news come soon. My case is different
