Politics / Re: Saraki Should Be Expelled From APC Before He Destroys It - Prof Itse Sagay (SAN) by kulikuli26: 5:24pm On Jun 30, 2015
DropShot:
I concur if he doesn't retrace his steps. Let no one make any mistake abt it, Saraki is NOBODY without APC.
Are you aware Buhari has never won Kwara state? Are you aware he doesn't even get 30% of the votes in previous elections? Have you asked yourself what changed? Please don't underestimate that guy called Saraki because even tinubu dare not say what you said. Buhari has contested 3times without victory, this time, he needed to align before he could win. Let's not sell the idea he doesnt need people who helped made that victory a reality. Let's be magnanimous in victory.

I repeat that you are an attention-seeking fool. Simply supply evidence/precedent of a fresher/first-timer holding principal officer positions in the HOR or shut the ffvck up. Period.
Seek whose attention? You? No sir, you don't sound intelligent enough to make we want to do that. You got into my mention and in turn accuse me of seeking attention. Please understand that nothing stops a first timer from occupying other principal office aside Speaker and deputy. I'm done with you on this.

Lol. You are a fool and are suffering from serious comprehension issues. I didn't mention anything about first timers holding principal offices in the Senate, rather I specifically referred to the HOR. Shebi you dug up Hosea from Oyo, why not also dig up first time HOR principal officers as precedents? You have at least 16 yrs of digging to do so knock yourself out.

Even when the SE and NC APC caucuses recently complained about marginalization, they appealed to the party to apply the "principle" and "spirit" of Federal Character and the constitution, and not extant house rules or any previous precedent.
You see what ignorance and arrogance have done to you, if I sighted an example with Sen Hosea, I merely referred to parliamentary procedures but you are too ignorant separating HOR and Senate when both operate similar rules. Keep fooling yourself. North central and South East rejected the list insisting they deserve to have a stake in house leadership not some silly so-called leaders imposing their cronies at all cost. You need to look beyond SW. Life doesn't start and end in SW. Nigeria is greater than any regional interest, that's the interest your likes are closing your eyes to.

I don't give two ffvcks if you're from the SE or not, I just told you the truth. If the SE had produced just one single APC senator the current NA debacle could've been avoided coz the Senate presidency would naturally have gone to the SE -- the zone didn't even produce a single APC senator, not one. Iriase is from the SS and has been presented by APC leadership as Deputy Chief whip but Dogora rejected the party leadership's candidates. The Imo APC reps are not even in contention coz they are first time reps and it's against the HOuse rules for freshers to hold such leadership positions.

You are the real bigot here coz you jumped the gun by accusing the party of not being just and equitable without considering all sides of the situation.
Your ignorance won't let you see the north central that has ranking reps were not represented in anyway. To cure your ignorance, house doesn't bar 1st time reps from occupying other principal office aside Speaker and deputy. Sen Hosea from Oyo was a principal officer in senate even as a 1st time senator. Cure yourself of self induced ignorance. Your arrogance won't help you.

Politics / Re: Name Your Alleged Abductors, Marafa Tells Saraki by kulikuli26: 11:42am On Jun 30, 2015
Sen Marafa is doing well by constantly challenging Saraki but it's better for him to come to reality of the fact that a constitutional process has been concluded and he should settle down for the real business he was sent to senate by his people. Shouting on top the roof won't give him 2/3 needed to impeach saraki. Saraki was in His state in 7th senate to help save bagega when it was ravaged by environmental challenges. Didn't hear or see Marafa stand up for Bagega people. APC should move on.

And what happens when a zone (like the SE) has no single qualified elected rep or senator in the ruling/majority party, so according to you, the members from that zone in the opposition party should now be considered by the ruling party to fill positions, right? You try well well, you hear?

You people should learn to play your politics with some sense next time, rather than putting all your eggs in one (PDP) basket only to later shout marginalization after scheming yourselves out of reckoning from important positions.
Lol! So I have become a South Easterner because I advocated equity and Justice? You see your life? What's wrong in having one of the two APC reps made deputy chief whip? Wouldn't that further correct the wrong impression by the easterners that this government won't be marginalizing them? Do you think a true leader will want to marginalize anyone under his leadership. Honestly we need to start thinking about NIGERIA and stop this parochial thought of "My zone". You really need to purge yourself of bigotry.

Politics / Re: NASS Leadership: Akande Is Wrong, Mischievous –saraki by kulikuli26: 11:00am On Jun 30, 2015
I'm disappointed a man like Akande chose ethnic bigotry to further his boss agenda. Why go about making silly accusation around just to demonize saraki. I believe APC isn't just about Yorubas, the idea of Yoruba must produce No 2&4 man before they can be deemed a "success" in APC is appalling. This greedy attitude must be curbed before we all regret our support for this party. There is a lot to fix in the country, ethnic jingoist should ply their trade elsewhere so Nigeria can move forward.

I have always maintained that if SW APC insist Gbajabiamila must get a position, I think the fair thing is to pressure Hon Lasun to resign from that position so Gbaja can fill the space but taking the slot that belongs to another zone is total arrogance in my opinion. More so when you didn't even seek the understanding of that zone. APC must promote equity and justice. This idea of allowing the dictate of a single man just because you want to appease him just won't let APC succeed. Every zone must be treated with respect including those who didn't vote Buhari.

If u hav 29 out of 147 political offices in kwara State, boycotting state function will only worsen things for them in the state considering the fact that this state is heavily populated by Muslims and unfortunately the ratio of muslim:xtain is arnd 10:3 which means even if the xtains boycott election in the State it wldnt change anything. Please CAN shd stop this religion politics and not bring. Violence to the state.

Politics / Re: Blame Jonathan If Rivers Governor Is Killed, Says Soyinka by kulikuli26: 3:34pm On Jul 12, 2013
IF THE MAN DIES(God forbid), he has paid for his stupidity by trying to impeach in such an undemocratic manner, moreso where have you been? aren't u aware that this same man was among those who assaulted Hon Lloyd first, or is it because he got more than he gave that's why you have this pity for him. lest I forget, its clear to everyone if GEJ wanted to act responsibly this matter wouldn't have degenerated into what we have today but because he is such an irresponsible leader who leads using divide and rule which of cos this is what you always get from such.....so that man shd enjoy the pain of what he brought upon himself!
donchris999: Am sorry to say this, soyinka is becoming partisan and its now annoying me. Now, a video was being circulated and lyod chidi, amaechi's cso and adc were battering a lawmaker who is critically ill and at the point of death now with the videos of the man in hospital shown by channels this morning. It will only take God for that man to survive. Now my question to soyinka is, if this man dies(God forbid), who will soyinka blame? A man amaechi supervised and ordered his security aides and boys to kill. Soyinka, we have seen the video of everything, and if anything happens to that man amaechi is definitely a goner. Rubbish! Soyinka should just go and pick APC's card, by the way his son is a commissioner under ACN government. Imagine with all this man's ranting he never condemned amaechi that wanted to kill a man. Amaechi should just pray that guy survives because even soyinka will not come to his help.

Its a clear message now that there are untouchables in PDP because wammako has insulted PDP more than Amaechi, so the decision to recall him and leave out amaechi is one I cant understand, well I believe its a case of lesser evil.
