Politics / Re: Multiple Crises Rock APC by kulikuli26: 1:19pm On Sep 28, 2015
It's sad the party is drowning by not managing it's internal crisis well. Too much hate everywhere. They should just allow peace to reign because lack of cohesion in the party is capable of derailing the government's campaign promises.

Demmocrats:
The man who called the most humble vice president ever a "mere commissioner"

Hmmmm I can't even believe he will be taking selfie with corpers from that statement he made I just picture him as an arrogant and proud man

Hmmmmm that means I was wrong.

I wish him the best in his endeavors
Despite the fact that he released a statement denying the statement, you still don't believe him, Moreso, were you there when the statement was made? Can you say you are honestly fair to this man? I don't think humanity deserves this.

I think he's a cool person. His political enemies are the ones making him look so bad.
His detractors always underrate him and always end up paying for it dearly. Right from his days as governor, he was always seen as daddy's boy but carefully outsmarted everyone including his own papa. Great dude I must say.

Saraki and selfies though.......The guy has smartly taken his own share of the spoils while Mr President is still looking for saints to share the spoils with.
The fact remains that Buhari's government is for ordinary Nigerians because politicians will suffer under him but we(ordinary nigerians) will be the biggest gainer.

[quote author=Chigold101 post=37840382]APC takes him serious thats why they down play what he says so that APC members and gullible Nigerians will think Fayose is lying.

He raised points that none of you are looking into.

How can someone who didnt have money for APC presidential form now has 30million Naira? Dnt this make you to have a rethink?
we were told he doesnt own anything outside kaduna & daura but we were just told again he has properties in 5 states plus ABJ... We should think about these things.

Funny that some of us are being blinded by whatever we are fed by APC infested press...too bad[/quote
Did you ever hear Buhari say he has just 2houses? So because he was contesting, he shouldn't feed his family anymore? You expect him to empty his entire account to buy the form? Would you have done that? Please spare this man. What he declared is modest enough to vindicate him.
Coming from a man who isn't even sincere enough to make his own public, I'm I suppose to listen to such character? Has he made his own public? Until then, please fayose isn't worth anything to me.

Do I blame Buhari for those appointments? NO, those guys stood with him through tick and thin, infact they never thought this day will come but God who rewards people has chosen to reward them. By this alone, a strong message is sent to the youths, never to betray people for pecuniary gains. I'm totally with Buhari on this.

I think someone should please provoke Fayose. This provocation can only be in 0the interest of the masses. But who takes what he says serious?

Politics / Re: EFCC In Another N1.7b Scandal As Petitioner Vows To Expose Frmr, Current leaders by kulikuli26: 1:26pm On Sep 06, 2015
This is an opportunity for Buhari to sweep off Lamorde and bring a more competent person to lead the Anti corruption war with credibility. I guess he is waiting for the outcome of Sagay's committee before naming new head of Anti corruption agency but I'm certain Buhari won't work with lamorde. He deserves to answer questions for his stewardship.

If you happened to have met her brother before, then it's most likely you. Just thread slowly with her, I wouldnt rush into anything with a woman that cares too much about money.
I actually met the brother and we shook hands. Everything in this story applies to us.

It's a small world indeed. Who knows, it may actually be your girl. Would you be one of the two rich suitors or the broke one she's attracted to?
Glad u sensed how she thinks and moved on without her. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
I'm the "broke" guy she is probably referring to. Funny enough she called me around 4pm today after I stopped calling exactly a week ago. She might have reacted to the comments she got from here. I pray she isn't the one but can't just ignore the close resemblance of the story.

Politics / Re: N2.051trn Scam: Petitioner Strips EFCC Naked Before Senate by kulikuli26: 8:40pm On Aug 26, 2015
Lamorde should be compelled to attend the hearing and state his own side of the story. Everyone should be made to give account of his stewardship. Attempts by Ahmad Lawan and his group to ask senate to discontinue this probe is not in anyway in the interest of what we voted for. If Buhari has to sack Lamorde and bring an incorruptible person to head this agency, it's welcomed by me. I honestly don't see how EFCC wouldn't have been compromised with the way allegations were flying during Jonathan without any invitation of those involved.

Buhari néed to reinstate this guy. Moro should instead be picked up for prosecution. Paradang was not privy to that recruitment and the guy made it clear during the saga that the ministry of Interior handled the recruitment not Immigration. Mr President should correct this ill informed action.
Politics / Re: Ambode Cancels Fashola's Last Minute Lekki Land Allocations by kulikuli26: 2:42pm On Aug 24, 2015
The allegations seems endless. LASG should stop this media war and do the right thing if they believed Fashola corruptly enriched himself with our resources. Ambode should act responsibly for once by either stop this "media propaganda" or send a petition to EFCC to do the needful on Fashola. You can't continually show us the "wrongs" committed by a former public officer and refuse to do anything about it, yet you want to claim you are guided by constitution.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Lobbies Saraki, Senators Over Fowler by kulikuli26: 7:31am On Aug 24, 2015
Saraki begs Tinubu - The Nation

Tinubu reaches out to Saraki - Thisday. Newspaper.

Not difficult to know where both papers stand as far as this issue is concerned.

For me, this is what i've always opined, we really don't need this media war in APC. We might not achieve much in this administration if individual differences cannot be managed within the party to avoid unnecessary media war. They just need to have a trade off and close ranks for the sake of the party and what it promised to Nigerians.

Amosun really disappointed me on this issue. This is way too petty for a governor to act on. I thought there are other serious issues bedeviling the state than oCcupying himself with pettiness. Ordinary Head of Civil service should have just queried these guys and warn them, sacking is way too extreme in my opinion. Let's encourage openness in government, we are progressives and should be seen to play so.

Politics / Re: PDP Still Remains Strong In The South West by kulikuli26: 3:49pm On Aug 12, 2015
I honestly can't agree less. The game changer was SW and NC. Buhari only wins Niger state in the entire NC in previous elections and has never won any state in SW. We can't deny PDP scored a big win in lagos, they never had it so good. Structure failed PDP in NC. They underrated the influence of saraki, gemade etc.

Politics / Re: Today's Discussion At The 8th National Assembly 11- 08 2015 by kulikuli26: 4:18pm On Aug 11, 2015
This is welcomed. Activities of DISCOS needs to be checked. Most of them are just exploiting Nigerians with all manners of fixed charges. The senate should ensure they ascertain the financial and technical competence of these organisation's. Its not enough to just demand certain services from them without understanding whether they are positioned to deliver it or not. Senate must ensure oversight functions isn't an excursion, it should really be a fact-finding exercise. Nigeria need to move forward with the right legislation. So far, bukola Saraki isn't doing bad at all. Kudos to my SP.
Politics / Re: Don’t Pitch The Senate Against The President, Senator Ndume Warns by kulikuli26: 3:27pm On Aug 07, 2015
The writer of that article is a known Anti Saraki but he need not drag the poor people of Borno into his issues with saraki. Whether saraki wants presidency or not, would that be a reason he shouldn't perform his function or lose his humanity just because he didn't want some minds to say he's aspiring to become president. Saraki went to ogoni and Bagega when they had environmental issues as a senator in the 7th assembly without a single person reading meanings into it, why now?

You are not getting the bigger picture. This is no more about the 2/3 it is about the breach of constitution.

This is a case of perjury. He lied under Oath.

This is very different from the PMB case where the protagonist of the case knows they were the ones that kept the certificate.

Another case of forgery has already been established against the Deputy which will eventually consume them both.

Their exit from office is a matter of when not if.
What's the bigger picture? The one painted by SaharaReporters? Lied on oath? Sir kindly let the competent court of law pronounce on that. Just can't understand why you guys don't realize nothing will move saraki if the court doesn't make declaration against his seat or 2/3 senators impeach him.

Lol! Keep denying the reality of ApC's non existence in ekiti, the general election was rigged too? Democracy doesn't mean everyone's wish will be implemented, may be you should stop watching TV because you are gonna see Saraki on screens as Senate President for 4 good years. Your name calling is of no essence. Deal with the reality.

exactly what I mean. Propaganda on the pages of newspapers or online publications do not win elections or impeach anyone. These people can continue publishing rubbish while Saraki continues to hold forth as the senate president
Sad even our Political Lords here don't see that too.

saraki doesn't need APC like APC needs him. Losing saraki and kwara is already 20% of APC's defeat come 2019. I wonder how people analyse apc's victory. The middle belt states of kwara, benue, plateau, adamawa, nassarawa, kogi were more instrumental than the entire south west. These states practically made a Uturn from PDP to APC. Not the SW that was already APC and had a margin victory of about 600k votes. Saraki is currently the biggest politician from the middlebelt.i am never his fan but, APC must live with it.
A lot of people here probably just rely on media propaganda without duly understanding the political terrain of the politician in question. The women in kwara who probably never heard of any politician aside saraki doesn't know what Saharareporters, punch or The Nation is saying about saraki and these are the people who do the voting. Saraki might not be so concerned with Presidency as alleged. He knows too well he might not have the support of the North been a minority, I think his contest in 2011 was just to negotiate senate presidency which he has now.

This can't be converted to 2/3 votes needed to oust saraki and if the idea is to dislodge him as the political godfather of kwara, you probably will have to try harder because kwara voters have heard something worse than this and Saraki always deliver 100%. This isn't a noisemaking exercise, it's about connecting with the right people that matters in this game. This is the same strategy adopted against Fayose that made the party lose 16 - 0. APC need to evolve better strategy in moments like this. This is surely dead on arrival.

This statement is emanating from a friend of the defeated elements who have everything to gain from an alteration of the present state of things. That is the long and short story of it. If Saraki was vulnerable to the antics of his detractors, he would have quit by now.
Saraki isn't a kid in this game. He sure knows how to play it. After 4yrs as senate president, he will be voted by kwara central electorates for senate again.
