Irresponsible statement! |
Misplaced priority! |
I really don't believe this is the best way Idris should treat his former colleagues and bosses. He should have waited for their official response and full investigation completed before rushing to the press. To my mind, I feel Idris will operate like Magu by making careless statements up and down. Anyway, your best bet of showing competence on any appointment in Nigeria today is to show you are catching thieves even if you are failing in your core responsibility. May God help us. |
To imagine some people will still believe this hogwash beats my imagination. The fact is, Saraki knows AGF is acting on instructions from the top and it will be a fruitless exercise begging a man who's acting on instructions from his superior. Saraki knows who to beg when he has to but we are always blinded by our biases it becomes so difficult to even analyze issues objectively. |
freeze001:Thank you jare. A. Lot of folks don't even read into details. Most read headline and start propagating falsehood. |
Ekweremadu's outfit is a huge message. A word is enough for the wise. |
To me, this is needless as it doesn't help the ordinary masses. This face-off is costing this administration so much. Things aren't looking good and one would expect cohesion among political class to be able to fight off the numerous challenges staring us in the face. |
I'm currently battling with No 2. She is just 19yrs, known her since she was 14 but decided to break up with her due to some deeply personal stuffs, trust me, heaven is about to drop on me. Everyone is calling for my head. I have never had sex or collected a dime from her, instead I spent quite good on her but to everyone I'm the wicked one. ![]() |
Nigerians can really like to fool themselves sha. This is very funny. |
I can see Sen. Marafa. Tinubu faction of the senate well represented. |
According to this propaganda news, minister approves every transactions in parastatals under him including diesel purchase? Haba, even while trying to cover up a man, there should be some commonsense at play. This article is totally bereft of common sense. You have committed an illegality, why not own it, instead everything must be termed "corruption fighting back", Oga Lai, you are the corruption here, stop blaming civil servants who you co-opted to steal with you. |
I remember losing friends because I didn't support #SubsidyProtest. I personally believed the Oil market need to be fully deregulated back then based on my professional thought but a lot of friends who didn't even understand anything about the economy attacked me thinking it was wrong for me to support anything coming from PDP notwithstanding how laudable the idea was. We all have supported APC to win election now. I'm waiting for their response when the subsidy is finally taken off under APC without the refineries fixed. If only we have allowed subsidy to go back then, we probably might have been able to avoid the current economic and forex crisis. I also believe the integrity of the Leader matters. May be some understood subsidy had to go but just couldn't trust GEJ to do it because of the deep rooted corruption in the system. Anyway, I still support subsidy removal. Let's fully deregulate Oil sector with the enabling laws in place. |
Segun Adeniyi captures my thought in this article. I'm highly disappointed in APC and buhari for doing what they have condemned severally within 6months of coming to power. Never again will I fall for this scam. |
Lol! I was too sure it's saharareporters that will be told. God help us in this country. |
So a borehole cost N3m to construct? You see why we really need value for money audit. The contract inflation is alarming. We really can't continue this way where contracts are inflated by over 1000%, which country achieve growth with that. Note: Saraki is from Kwara Central not south as reported here. |
lastpage:Abeg, who dis one dey follow talk? |
Mynd44:Let your Senator tell you how many senators staged the walkout with him. The truth is, this bill enjoys the support of even more than 2/3 required to override president's veto. |
Democracy at play. Minority will have their say while majority will have their way. Sen Olamilekan is a coward, why didn't he sit in the senate and voice his displeasure on the floor of the senate. Moreso, he should list the names of those that are opposed to the bill. I'm sure they aren't even up to 1/3. The influence of the executive on CCT/CCB is dangerous for the independence of parliament. I support the bill 100%. |
Resign ko design ni. Stay on Saraki. #InnocentUntilProvenGuilty |
I'm on the queue at berger right now, the situation is PATHETIC. PMB must see this as a failure because he promised we won't be losing productive hours to fuel queues but I'm here instead of office. PMB must address this with urgency it deserves. |
daylife7:Stroke? OMG! The ignorance is deeper than I thought. No point responding to this dude guys. |
HungerBAD:To your shallow mind, you have made sense? Saraki didn't work in SGBN? He didn't work briefly as a doctor? On what ground was tinubu's case thrown out at CCT? Are you been unknowingly ignorant or self induced? |
I'm with NASS on this. No proper data to prosecute this programme except we just want politicians to take control and siphon this money through their cronies. We just need to accept the fact that some of the party's manifesto can't be implemented right now. For godsake we have four years, this programme can be implemented when revenue increase and leakages blocked effectively but not now when we are still delaying in salary payment. We need to see how this N500b will be put into infrastructure to increase our business competitive environment and provide the needed jobs. |
There is so much bias in this case, why will government continually refuse him access to his lawyers? I want Dasuki prosecuted for his offenses, what I find amusing is why the government won't allow the court to do its job. FG must be careful not to bungle this case because of their obsession with dasuki. |
Dumb posts everywhere. Only an ignoramus will believe this story. Saraki will not beg Jagaban for anything. Most importantly, we know it's only buhari that can ask cct chairman to halt the prosecution and Buhari has made it clear he won't interfere, a point I know Saraki himself knows. So why would he beg jagaban? Why are some people so gullible. Are you so dumb you can't reason beyond your nose? |
chukwudi44:Chris Uba you meant? |
These people should continue to protest from now till eternity, Saraki is innocent until proven guilty by the highest court in the land. They can sponsor as many protests as they like, Saraki remains the Senate President until court decides otherwise. |
This is long overdue. With what I have heard about Dr Baru from friends working in NNPC, I think this is a good decision. Dr Baru's professionalism and integrity earned him this. Feat. I pray God help him deliver base on his competence. |
Has the owner of this property been convicted? Why ground this company while investigation is still ongoing? I don't think people should be thrown out of job this crucial time. If the person is found to be corrupt, why not FG appoint a new management for the hospital to keep workers job intact and the profit from the hospital remitted to FG account. We need to seek better ways of fighting this corruption. 0 |
It's been so difficult for Ahmed Lawan to see Saraki as the senate president. Guess he believes Saraki will be removed eventually for him to take up the position. |
These appointments are lopsided. There isn't any balance at all. This isn't how to be a leader. I just find it difficult to believe that Buhari is ignoring a lot of competent hands that worked so hard for the party's victory e.g Abike dabiri, wale Edun, Dele Alake, to mention a few. I hope his attention is been called to this anomaly. |
DahomeyAmazon:On top Wetin nah? Oya you too no vex. |
