Thank you for this prompt, I very much appreciate it. Although I had messaged them prior on all SM channels and even emailed, I got no response until I mentioned their boss, ministry of interior and the consumer rights commission. I received a reply from them in no time...don't know if that was what worked the magic. Again thanks!

I'm starting my application right now and want to pick Osogbo but someone above just complained about same station asking him to come back in two months.

Also to every DIY person in here, do I generate a virtual NIN for the purpose of this registration (expires in 72hrs) or use the issued NIN on the PDF slip I got after registering with NIMC?

All errors in documentation , NIN validation, all documents needed to be submitted would have been taken care of, without pressure since it's not your capturing date. A file will be created which will be used in calling your name on capture date. Especially if it's fresh application(DIY), go before capture date, don't end up like a family I told who did not listen, they paid 40k naira on capture date, to do documentation despite starting as DIY. Let someone update us if anything has changed in Alausa center.

Hello Chief, please this NIN validation, can it be done at the immigration office because I have been at it at the enrollment centers for a while now without success, it’s apparent the agents had turned the whole thing to a cash cow they don’t intend to stop milking. The NIN is the only reason I haven’t made payment for the renewal. I need to get it done and out of the way cos I need the document by February.

Also I would appreciate if anyone reading this knows which of the stations in the Southwest where I can get the passport within two months.

They won’t pay their workers well. The government officials collect exorbitant salaries for doing basically nothing. Doctors in LUTH have not been paid for at least 10 months. No one talks about this.

Yet blocking people from migration to more economically favorable areas is the good thing to do.

Africans especially Nigerians are our own problem. The way we think is so twisted.

I absolutely agree, the way “we” think is twisted……and I’m certain you also will agree with me that mass migration of the economic strength of the nation won’t in any way translate to economic prosperity that will solve the problems mentioned.
